I honestly think that Sarkhan's unsealing is a massively underrated card. Whilst my first thoughts were to go to dragons along with the new Sarkhan, I realized Dinosaurs seemed much better and had arguably better support. So what do you guys think of this? This is just the first iteration of the deck and I will start playtesting it soon.
I'd probably go with Prowling Serpopard over Goreclaw as it is cheaper, has the same stats and protects from counterspells. Rhonas the Indomitable would also be good here being hard to remove and trampling up the fatties.
Blossoming Defense and/or Heroic Intervention is practically a must in control heavy metas. I've found that without them I tend to get blown out by U/x decks.
Sarkon's unsealing is similar to anointed procession. It doesn't create a strategy as much as makes it win more. To use it you have to hold back your creatures until it lands and those creatures have 4+ power. I think its sideboard material against control, because you can side in hexproof and uncounterable threats like serpopard, the green horse, and carnage tyrant to throw off their usual bounce and creature counterspell suite. Since they are probably using the scarab God, the 4 damage will kill any token they brought out and your threats will force a block out of the scarab God. It's too slow vs mid range and aggro decks to do anything.

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
Here's a deck that ran it main and won a competitive league. Might be good to look over.
I like it. He's basically using it like his own version of Cast Out.

As long as Settle the wreckage is available, none of these is the right answer to their answer...
The answer to Settle the Wreckage is to play around it. Unless you're playing discard or counter magic that basically has been the answer for a while now.
I suppose you could also splash White for a singleton or pair of Shalai in the Sideboard if you were REALLY worried about Settle.
I will say this. The problem with Unsealing (and cards like it) is that while it can be really powerful, drawing multiples feels really bad, especially when you're hoping to draw the cards that fuel it (namely creatures).

It would also survive Goblin Chainwhirler without a dinosaur on board.

Ghalta, Primal Hunger is better than Gigantosaurus and can be enabled rather easily.
Verdurous Gearhulk is also a good option as either a big trampler or buffing other creatures.
Adventurous Impulse is weaker than Commune with Dinosaurs but might be more consistent as only half the creatures are dinosaurs here.

Yeah. With Traxos and Ghalta being actual board wipes (potentially).

Maindeck Lifecrafter's Bestiary would help for that.
Also, to echo you. Play around Settle, it's not that hard.
