You can't keep a good thing down. The Immortal Sun is an exciting Whir of Invention target that lets you attack from many angles. This is still an Aetherflux Reservoir deck, but it's mostly focused on enabling a fast Sun.
Normally I'd welcome your constructive critique, but this list is already pretty much perfected. You can express your awe and admiration in the comments, though. I'm hoping to stream with this deck a bit in the coming days, so please check me out sometimes.
If Aetherflux is added in as an aside, how are you winning? Cranes?
Reservoir is still the most important wincon. The thing is it's almost impossible to go off without a cost reducer (I used to play foundry inspector because of this). This is why getting the Sun online fast is the priority.
Sun does make our Cranes and Servos into serious threats. This pressure is very important against a deck like Approach, for example. The card does many good things.
Am I just missing something? This deck barely has enough lands for a 40-card limited deck and you're trying to cast Whir of Invention with X=6? You also have just no actual interaction, and the creatures are fairly sub-par. Like... what do you do against Mono-red or Merfolk when they just curve out and you're dead on T4? Can you realistically win if someone just plays Kitesail Freebooter or Duress and takes your Aetherflux Reservoir? This deck seems crazy greedy and fragile.

This is valid criticism. Against aggro there isn't a lot we can do. Cranes can sometimes be real obstacles for mono red, but fast Reservoir is our best bet. A deck like merfolk is probably impossible to bear since any counterspell will set us back on tempo so much.
Duress and Freebooter aren't really problematic at all. Against aggro we will side in a second a Reservoir which will protect us against possible duresses. In the more likely scenario where we are playing against a slower controlling deck we have Commit // Memory.
17 isn't a lot of land, but this deck needs such a high concentration of spells to operate that playing less action is also risky in itself. 17 is a pretty good number, but 18 might be good too.
How about going U/B so you can play Mastermind's Acquisition which let's you grab a reservoir directly from the side so you don't just loose to Abrade game 1 or Dispossess' after board. It also let's you grab whatever piece you're missing to combo off on your next turn or any relevant hate that you have in the board. Black would also let you board in duress' yourself so you don't auto-loose to control and you could have mass removal in the board too.
Hey Tiemuuu, love the new take for this new standard season! We used to play 4 Statuary and 2 Reservoir, why did we cut on those to add whir of invention numbers?
Also noticed we went much lower on the Baral's Expertise numbers, why?
Also, with so many abrades around, is cutting those numbers really worth it?

Acquisition is cute. It would make the deck even more resilient, but it's way too durdly. Abrade is tough mostly because it makes us lose tempo and in general allows the opponent to trade resources. Dispossess is nothing we can't beat though. Siding in one or two Efficient Construction is the best way to combat Dispossess. This deck doesn't autolose to control neither. Duress would hardly help us.

(I'll definitely try your list tonight)
The deck took a hit with the rotation of Bone Saw. Inspiring Statuary + Outcome isn't really going to amount to anything anymore. Getting the cost reducer in play is the most important thing.
I used to love Baral's but I've been let down by the card. As this deck is now much more clunky, there's no time to bounce our own Prisms, which used to huge. As this deck also lost most of its fast combo potential, we can no longer realistically win fast with an Outcome + Outcome + Expertise sequence.
Just a quick update - I've been off of this deck for some while now, but as the modo metagame has become more casual and slow, I'm back to having a little fun with this deck. I'm currently exploring MD Efficient Constructions and going down to 3 Outcomes(!)
I've been unable to stream for some time, but this might change in the coming weeks.
Goodness, you're back with more Paradoxical Outcome.
I seriously would like to view how this deck plays when you would stream it.
I'm moving to a new place on the beginning of April, so after that but before the release of Dominaria I will probably stream a bit with this version. After Dominaria is released on MODO I will probably play a lot, lot more.

Spoiler talk is not allowed in deck creation, but I will open a new topic for the deck in new card discussion.
