Both the new Mardu Vehicles and Grixis midrange control decks look to be bad match ups for this deck.
I have not played against RWB Vehicles yet, but Grixis goes can go into hard control with counters and Duress.
Once they have control of the game, they use Glorybringer as a wincon

I agree with you about the Mardu Vehicles matchup, but I've had zero problems with Grixis. Drake Haven has an excellent game 1 against them, and Duress has never been backbreaking post-board. If they resolve a Scarab God things get kind of tough, but even then Cast Out has come through a bunch of times. I'm not that worried about Grixis. Finding a game plan against Vehicles is going to be rough, though.
What is the correct split of Settle the Wreckage / Fumigate? I currently run 3/2 since Settle deals with Hazoret. Another card I am considering is Slash of Talons which is good as slowing down aggressive starts from mono red and even deals with Glint Sleeve Siphoner out of Grixis or Sultai energy.

I am playing four settle main and 3 fumigate with another fumigate in the board because we have a lot of g/x monster midrange at my LGS. Its fine and it makes for really easy SB swapping against U/X control decks for negates and grindy cards.
Siphoner is always a pain. Some people run baffling end specifically to deal with cards like him, but I never liked it because I felt like it was to narrow and always felt like a liability.
Im curious what your list is however, Ive found the mono red MU is a good one. My hard matchups have been sultai constrictor(trample, they only have to swing with one guy and ballista can just chill and kill you) and the G/W tokens decks can be somewhat tough to, as well as grixis post board with negates and duress. U/X control are a complete joke and even G/x midrange with four MB brontodons has been pretty easy, they just can't beat getting swept over and over again.

Oh hey, I actually own two thirds of the cards listed in this thread. How long before Amonkhet rotates out of standard? Because if this deck is going to be playable for longer than, say, 6 months, then I might consider investing some money in completing it, so that I can finally give Standard a shot.
Amonkhet should rotate in October, so you have at least 6 months to play the deck.

Great. That list looks very similar to fine. I hadn't thought of using Shefet Dunes - but it looks win-more to me and may not make up for the life loss attached to its ability.
As for Duress / Negate you can't really deal with those cards. You can't exactly play around Duress, but Negate can be maneuvered around somewhat with your own countermagic.
As for Lost Legacy - assuming they name Drake Haven and we don't have one down yet we have no way to win. Should we have a back-up win condition such as Regal Caracal or something?
I mean, I dont have a backup plan. Thats what I was after here. My meta environment is very competitive. Duress/Negate/DoomFall/Naturalize are in everyone's sideboards where Im at.
I'm a huge fan of this deck, been playing it for a few months now. I took some tech from a GP list I saw did well a month or two ago and it seems to work out. Azor is strictly something I've teched in. He's definitely a win con post sideboard and most people don't expect him, plus the life gain/card draw on attack helps you stabilize just in case you're having difficulty. Sarcophagus is almost an afterthought with this deck really, it's nice when you get it, but the deck can stabilize and crack back so quickly it's not even funny. Hostile Desert I took from an opponent at GP Houston who was running UW Cycling (I was playing BG Snake before the Attune/Refiner banning) and I loved the extra reach it gave you, especially if you manage to be able to cycle all of your FarmlandsThe only deck I really have an issue with is Approach. I feel it's an awful match up because we don't have good counters in the deck, a lot of Approach decks have shown up in my meta so I moved on to a different deck for the time being until Approach falls out of favor again.
Ive seen some lists recently that run 2 copies of Approach. Not sure I like it though because it gets hit by Negate, whereas having some sort of creature like Gearhulk or Caracal would likely not get countered as well as punish the opponent for siding out removal spells against you

I played one copy of Approach for a bit (it's an Immortal Sun now to play around with) and I found that it gave me a free win in game one against a lot of midrange decks because I could create Drakes to keep pressure off instead of win, and then slam Approach twice because they have no counters or Duress effects in their main. Then I just sided it out for Negates or whatever. I think having Approach as a backup plan is probably a good idea. Honestly though this deck isn't very well-positioned right now. It's too hard to beat Mono-Red consistently and blue-based midrange will have the Negate at least as often as not when you need to Settle them out of existence.

We will rebuild.
My question is how is how to deal with UBx decks with their Duress/Negate/Lost Legacy ?
