A GR/b splash can handle Hour of Glory. I ran it before as you can see from the above lists with Worldsaverinc. We can also run Vraska, Relic Seeker pretty effectively as well.
G1: BW Vamps
Although the guy had jam-packed removal spells, he had little board presence. this was an easy matchup for me as I went 2-0.
G2: RG Dinos
An interesting night where 3 people at the table ran Dinos. Myself included. The deck I faced was geared towards the pollyraptor combo that he managed to set off g1. In g2 I sided in most of my removal and was able to secure g2 with a pack of raptors clawing at his life points. G3 was tough as we came to a standstill which ended in a draw. An all in all good match.
G3: BW Vamps
This was a more aggro build then the previous one I faced in g1 and wasted no time is taken me down. G2 I managed to secure the win with some well-timed removal spells and carnage tyrant for the win. G3 came to a board stall until he managed to draw up sanctum seeker for the win.
Not a bad turn out I guess. I'm ready for the next block to hit standard.
I am quite happy about how it goes.
I mostly faced aggro decks:
1st Round: BG Snake 2/1
The player did not seem very familiar with his deck. He forgot that Verdurous Gearhulk and Walking Balista were artefacts. Brontodon was very effective. I lost the second one cause I could not answer 2 Winding Constrictor (despite playing 4 Abrade and 4 Sweltering suns). Other than that we have bigger creatures.
2nd Round: Mono Black aggro 2/1
He just vomited his hand on the first one and never got way to deal with everything.
I boarded in Magma Spray for 2 Ghalta and one Tyrant, Abrade and brontodon dealing with vehicles.
My opponent was a bit pissed off at the 3rd game. I had 2 Magma spray, 2 Abrade and one Sweltering Suns to stabilized and then got Regisaur, Rhonas and 2 Tyrants. Told him if I had not got removals I would have had bigger creatures to block anyway. Maybe he wanted me to draw only lands... Regisaur does a very good job stabilizing the board against aggro deck. Raptors are quite good at it too.
3rd Round: Mono Red 2/1
Similar story. He destroyed me at the first one. I boarded in 3 Magma spray.
Each time it was very close but i manage to stabilize around 6-8 HPs. Last one I was at 6 and manage to put him down from 20 to 3 in one attack (Regisaur + token, Brontodon and Tyrant). Hazoret is indestructible but cannot do anything against Ghalta or Tyrant.
Final: Mardu Vehicle 2/0
Sweltering suns + Brontodon + Abrade + Deathgorge are too much for them to handle. I boarded in 3 Magma Spray and 1 more Deathgorge game 2.
Scrapheap Scrounger cannot come back and Deathgorge gave me a lot of life back. I manage to sacrifice Hashep Oasis on it so that he could survive my Sweltering Suns.
I think the deck is very solid. Some gestion to contain very aggro decks and big dinos to stabilize. Even bigger dinos to end the game. Thunderherd Migration was very effective to keep the pace and commune with the Dinosaurs is just amazing. Just revealing a Carnage Tyrant with it just made my opponents scoop.
I also played against a UR control for fun but he could not do anything against the Tyrant, just delaying it with Commit, just delaying it for 2 turns...
Regisaur alpha is also great: double blocker against aggro (useful against menace) and double threat against control.
I think White control deck might be the most annoying. When i was testing online Endless Sands was awesome at dealing with mass removal. Black control decks however can only do one-for-one and blossoming defense should be enough to annoy them (Heroic Intervention too).
I was very happy with the deck. It can both control a bit and hit hard at the same time. Not very used to that with Red Green.
Fantastic with Ranging Raptors and Ripjaw Raptor, less so with everything else. Its a turn 3 play though with an accelerate and a 3 drop. I might want to switch back to Savage Stomp or Abrade.
I've just recently updated my dinos list with Dom...the major inclusions are 4 elves, 3 steel.
I believe untapped green sources are correct but I was wondering what your thoughts were.
@hellohero - I think you need more R sources for your RR spells. IIRC you need 18 sources for a 90% chance on T4.
In other news, I took this list (with some minor tweaks) out for a spin. The creator wisely stuck to single R spells on the R splash. I figured I'd be okay if I could dodge Chainwhirler and control decks. Three control decks (one with Chainwhirler) later, I had a smooth 3-0. I threw Bestiary and The Immortal Sun into the sideboard. My best plays with Llanowar elves were T2 Bestiary.
This is a budget list I'm tinkering with. Forgoes red completely and focuses on a black splash for Driven // Despair, Doomfall, and Hour of Glory in the sideboard. These hopefully shore up most of the problems that dinosaurs may face. It's goldfishing decently. The Narnam Renegade is there to help apply early pressure, as well as be roadblock for opposing dinosaur decks. I'm definitely iffy on Cherished Hatchling, but I'm really liking the tricks you can do with it. Still working on the sideboard.
I am thinking of replacing the Crushing Canopies with Vivien Reid.
I might also put more graveyard hate if Gifts/Scarab God decks become normal, probably struggle to survive. I want to find a place for at least 1 banefire. It might take the place of Savage Stomp or a Sweltering Suns.
I have continuously made top 8 in 32 person FNMs with this list. I plan on continuing to play it after rotation. Abrades will become lightning strikes and the sideboard will depend on what other people come up with.
I’m a huge fan of Sarkhan’s unsealing as both a way to control the board while playing threats and as a way to go face against control without needing threats to resolve. I feel Dinosaurs can leverage the full power of it better than almost any other deck while simultaneously not sacrificing their curve or synergy for giant clunky creatures.

repost your list as it would be after rotation. How about this draft:
thats all I could think of now, Im confident you can get those counters down to 6 by using "hardcounters" instead of conditional ones. Consider Jund colors and maybe Hadana's climb?
What makes rampant growth so powerful in a format like this one is you can pretty much splash whatever color you want. So while adding a 4th color may seem like a lot, you really dont lose anything in adding it in. I feel like this deck still needs an early game sweeper to slow down the fast boros decks and deafening clarion is great sweeping the board and providing lifegain. Lifegain is something dinosaurs didnt really do outside the green avatar and Huatli, so Im excited to see how well it can be pulled off.
Lava Coil is gonna replace abrade as the most used removal spell in red. Its a great answer to steel leaf champions and rekindling phoenix exiling both. Its sorcery but I never really did things instant speed anyway so thats not as big a deal.
I feel like this format is gonna see Deathgorge scavenger excel. Brontodon is still really good, but its lacking must kill targets at the moment and being able to exile the surveil cards so they cant put them back into the deck and exile the jumpstart cards before they get to flash them back will be big.
I feel that Risk Factor is better burn against control than banefire. Its cheaper and faster and combines well with both negates and disdainful strokes out of the sideboard. With unsealing as well, the deck has a lot of ways to attack the control decks that they arent very well equipped to deal with.
Hey all I've been testing a version of this arch type with some interesting results:
Vs Anything UR/x, it seems like Dinos has the edge. When I set out to create a deck that would have an innate strength against damage based removal, I remembered Ripjaw Raptor. This card dodges: Lightning Strike Lava Coil Shock Deafening Clarion
The pay offs are good, and we tend to be favored against other U based decks aside from Mono Blue Tempo. While more testing it needed, I drew some ideas from the 2 Gruul Dino lists that went 5-0 in the competitive leagues.
Weakness to Go Wide Strategies like Tokens, but I think this deck has legs. Against GB midrange you can usually get on board with bigger threats. tyrant is great here and while we are weak to Chupes, on the play an early Reggie backed by a haste 4/5 or 7/6 really puts the pressure on them.
Against aggro we are innately good, the green x/4 bodies provide good early blockers.
Against control, we can pressure nicely and do not have to over commit to the board often. The match ups against Jeskai have been close but I've won more than lost.
The Sb is tailored to beating go wide strategies. The removal is aimed at taking out x/4's (Drakes from izzet). We may be a bit weaker to Angels but the stomps go a long way.
Still need a ton of testing, T3 Reggie into T4 Tyrant with Haste is very powerful.
Thunderherd Migration is the glue that makes this deck tick. People forget how strong an actual Rampant Growth effect is. In this standard going from 2-4 on T3 is huge.
We need Stomping Ground badly. LIKE T1 Shockland is important, it's one of the things holding this back.
if chupes is on the decline, (which it is atm) then Ghalta is pretty great. Didn't go so well last night in the league but I played against the exact arch types I figured the deck would be weak against. They were still close 1-2's, but the deck needs to be tuned.

Didnt like scavenger against Golgari, they revive cards on their turn and you cant attack profitably into their creatures with that card. Against Arclight they usually go off on their turn without the PHX in the grave. Why did you want scavengers so much?
There's more than just gogari, there's all the surveil stuff, burn, izzet drakes, phoenix, etc. It helps you gain life if you need it and clears out graveyard stuff.

well now you got the Meta shifting to wider aggro decks, Gorger will gain you 2 then sit there and gain you another 2-4 by blocking.
Yeah I’ve gone a similar route recently myself, dropping the unsealing strat to just curve out big fatty Dino’s. Runic armasaur seems interesting. Other than adanto vanguard I can’t think of any creature that uses an activated ability in standard at the moment. It’s all triggered abilities.
Edit: The map lets you play a long game with Banefires and cut some number of Llanowar Elves (bad topdecks in long games) -- all the while keeping your mana source count up for a final big Banefire.

Regisaur Alpha greatly improved with the rotation of Glorybringer
Thrashing Brontodon a forgotten All star that blocks and deals with Artifacts and Enchantments.
