Hi all, im new so dont nuke me for potentially bringing up a subject done to death on 52 diff threads. I not got the time to search em out sorry. Im not here to argue or rage or tbbh get into BS flame wars as happen so many times over less hot topics than this on the net (what is wrong with humanity these days)…..I just want folks point of view iro what seems to me a huge bias at wotc favouring red and blue, either combined and or mono in either. Despite Nexus of hate getting banned in arena, this does not solve all the problems associated with these colours. Im happy to be proven wrong and they prooved with facts not OP at all. But games i play both in mtga and fnm etc they rule. I been playing 30 years, seen it all, done it all....but at moment with insane amount for draw and counter for blue and i mean insane, added to god only knows how many bolts, blasts, explosions, destroy, burn, nuke, in red...really guys...wtf....you either can never play a card and sit there watching blue draw a zillion cards or watch red blow u up, blow your creatures up blow your lands up, come to your house and blow your dog up…...maaaaaan….then mix the colours together!!! mix all the previous up into a nice smoothie of hate and force feed you it...not ranting guys...just tired and fed up…….proove me wrong...im happy with that :O) or at least give me deck tips to deal with this.
oh but ban Petitioners from singleton ...that is so toxic!!!!!
So, you start a topic aking to not be nuked asking what's wrong with humanity. Then you proceed to write a nigh uredable wall of text that could really ahve used some paragraphs and when you don't get replies you write a salty somewhat inflammatory comment about it.
If you aren't ranting then why are you writing about blowing your dog up and blue drawing a zillion cards? That is hyperbole for the sake of ranting.
Do you feel that is the best way to get nice replies?
IMO you are wrong. blue has been the dominating colour in magic since the game started but their counters and drawspells ave been toned down while creatures in general have been buffed incredibly.
If red blows your lands up then they are spending a lot of mana and a lot of cards to just take a few lands from you, you should be able to counter that by simply playing things. Not to mention that red generally trade cars 1 for 1 when it comes to removal.
You would probably get more replies f you typed out some clear examples. What is the red deck that keeps blowig your lands up for example? That helps in guiding you towards an way to combat the tactic.

I was one of the 40+ views. I was and still am at a loss for a constructive response.
I get that you are frustrated with losing.
We are playing a game with a lot of luck and some measure of skill. Even very skilled players have losing streaks. Mathematically, the ranked ladder on Arena should allow for winning eventually, as I get downranked to match with players with comparable deck-skill combinations.
I would suggest that you figure out what you want from us and ask for it in a more coherent way.
Paragraphs and capitalization are your friends if you want to communicate widely and get responses. Acronyms and sweeping judgements are not as effective, in my opinion. Not to mention the rules of the site encouraging constructive and clear communication.
If you have a deck or set of decks that are underperforming, then one way we can help you is that you post about each deck individually. First look to see if there is a thread already to post onto. Otherwise start a new thread asking for help.
If you have been playing for 30 years and have done it all, then I don't see how a newbie like me could help you. But it is confusing, because I win with and against red and blue decks without the frustration you describe.
You say that you don't have time to search through, but it looks to me like you have some things to learn. Searching, reading and distilling your posting to a coherent message conforming to your audience's expectations might get you more rewarding results.
I hope this helps. But be warned. This site has rules for posting that may be enforced on future posts.
I agree with the original poster. The Mythic Championship seems to back that up. Blue appeared in 7 of the top 8 decks. Just look at the deck lists and tell me there is not something wrong with standard magic. Red also has pretty dang good card draw and removal to go along with aggressive creatures.
Blue allows you to negate much of the luck in the game also. By letting you cycle through substantially more of your cards you don't have to rely on that lucky top deck to survive another turn.
We just have to voice our opinions without losing our tempers and hopefully some of the other colors in the wheel will see some love soon. I play mostly Black/White myself and I find it pretty frustrating right now.
Well, I think that things are getting balanced over time. Blue in limited tend to be worse the the other colours, for example, due to its control-ish nature. In contructed, specially in eternal formats, blue becomes really annoying, but that's because old cards are being played, I believe.

are we talking BO1 or BO3? The answer makes a world of difference. If we're talking the former, then issue you're addressing is everything that's wrong with BO1 and why (I would argue) it's a horrid format.
