Was thinking of playing standard and unusually like combo

Hard to say with rotation in a few days.

There is a pretty sweet combo(ish) with Lazav, the Multifarious, Doom Whisperer, and Dimir Spybug. If you have the Whisperer and spybug in the graveyard you copy Whisperer with Lazav out and put 9 activations of Surveil 2 on the stack and in response to the last one copy the Spybug. Let all of the Surveil 2's resolve, put 9 +1/+1 counters on Lazav, and swing with a 10/10 flying menace.

This isn't something I would advise under normal circumstances but I thought it was pretty neat and the closest to a combo I've seen so far. Got it from Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa.

a 10/10 flying is nice and all but what about a 10/10 unblockable? if you surveil a mist-cloak herald then copy it after you get your counters. but then for a real combo you could find a way to cheese that unblockable into double strike for 20. but the colors are all out of wack, and takes a ton of mana.

I'd say izzit is the combo house of the new standard just as it always has been. Whether someone is going to go Arclight Phoenix from the graveyard, or run strait up Crackling Drake and Enigma Drake spell storm, that is the combination that will give those big, swingy turns where you just annihilate the opponent in one or two hits.

Dimir can also pull off the same thing, but they are far bigger on hand disruption than the other places and the pieces that let you pull off the combos are really expensive. We're talking chase rares of the set kind of a situation with Doom Whisperer, who is probably going to eclipse both planeswalkers in value.

There is a goblin deck with runaway steam-kin, experimental frenzy, skirk prospector and some gobbos. Every one mana gobbo generates a mana with prospector and steamkin out. You use darkdweller oracle and other impulse draw to filter through the deck and go off. I haven't messed with any numbers, just a brew idea I've seen floating around.

All the one drop goblins and goblin instigator generate mana during the combo. Redundant oracle copies are mana neutral.

It's not very good, but it's a fun engine.

Ditto. i don't know if it would be too slow with the vertebrae wand as it doesn't trigger steam boi but its a cheap option to dump the top card when experimenting.

Late to the party, but Famished Paladin and Sorcerer's Wand plus lifelink (Deafening Clarion, Mark of the Vampire, On Serra's Wings, Squire's Devotion still works.

The most reliable combo in standard besides the Arclight Phoenix deck is getting to 11 mana, casting a kicked Fight with Fire and copying it with Expansion/Explosion. The combo fits in many decks and is a surprise 20 damage I win.

This thread is pretty lacking. There are combos involving Squee, the Immortal+skirk prospector+3 runaway steam-kin/goblin warchief to make infinite mana. If you throw in siege-gang commander it is an instant kill. Often you draw into this combo with Vanquisher's Banner+Squee, the Immortal+skirk prospector+0-2 runaway steam-kin/goblin warchief though so you may have to sacrifice a few goblins to destroy your own banner using Goblin Trashmaster. This is generally used as the win condition of the previously mentioned goblin storm deck if you need to play around settle. Another more all in option is Squee, the Immortal+Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle+skirk prospector+Goblin Instigator for infinite tokens/mana but unlike the previously mentioned combo Teshar isn't a card you would be running anyways. Even farther into the realm of jank is Hyper Cancer form MTG Original Decks(youtube channel) which is really just a lifegain/ixalan's binding deck with no wincons except gaea's blessing.
