Cast a 0-mana Walking Ballista, which possibilty storm makes into a Borborygmos (or if you have a legendary card in play cast a Mox Amber (exile and then return Borborygmos to the top of your library) and then cast a mana dork.
Discard all of the lands that you drew with Enter the Infinte, bolting your opponent repeatedly until they are dead.
The original decklist was first seen in Japan (through Pioneer reddit) and is reproduced below.
Some of the tech discussed in the thread that is particularly interesting is Fae of Wishes and Once Upon a Time. A decklist talked about on MTGGoldfish (and reproduced below) uses Fae of Wishes but not Once Upon a Time (the deck below also uses the loop described in the reddit thread regarding having a PW in play and mox ambers instead of using Ballista to win.
If I would make a list using the above decks it would be to work off Mystic1110's list since it uses both OUAT and Fae of wishes, and updated due to the banning of Oath and also updating it to include the Mox Amber + Legendary Tech from the mtggoldish list. Also Oko generally seems like an excellent play.
Playtesting my latest draft I've had a tough time with mana consistency, this is compared to the original japanese version which only relied on green and red. Blue I think is necessary for Fae of Wishes but white (for Teferi, Time Raveler) may have to go. Any suggestions as to what to replace it with? As a note, Teferi is there not only because he was good, but also to fulfill the base level of legendary cards necessary to run Mox Amber, so any replacement should probably also be legendary.
Edit: someone let me know that Teferi actually interacts with Possibility Storm in an interesting way. Teferi in play with Possibility Storm makes it so that your opponent is locked out of the game (they cast a spell, it gets exiled but they can't cast the next one because they are not casting at a time they can cast a sorcery). Given this Teferi+Possibility lock, it seems like Teferi should stay in. Which means that the real challenge is the mana base.
It has some of the tech discussed above, primarily Once Upon a Time and Oko. It doesn't add in the Mox Amber backup plan or White for Teferi and also uses Golden Goose as one of its mana dorks. The Weirding Wood is the card i'm most confused by and intrigued by in that list.
Losing OUAT IMO has hurt the UG version of the deck. Additionally, looking at the statistical performance of the two version online seems like the RG version with its dual beatdown and combo plans is the correct build. As such, my personal list is the following. It was inspired by the storm list in the pioneer challenge (link provided in previous post) and then I modded it primarily because I think Mox Amber is really good as accel and it works well with the combo (if you have a legendary card in play you can cast Mox Amber and then a mana Dork without needing Ballista in hand). I also added two offs for Enter the Infinite and Shared Summons because getting them stuck in hand prior to going off feels really bad. I also switched up some of the PWs to add in more mana producing PWs as this deck is manahungry.
The Combo plays out as follows:
[numlist]
[*]Play Possibility Storm.
[*]Cast any Adventure sorcery. Possibility Storm finds the only actual sorcery in your deck: Enter the Infinite.
[*]Resolve enter the infinite, putting Borborygmos on top of your deck.
[*]Cast a 0-mana Walking Ballista, which possibilty storm makes into a Borborygmos (or if you have a legendary card in play cast a Mox Amber (exile and then return Borborygmos to the top of your library) and then cast a mana dork.
[*]Discard all of the lands that you drew with Enter the Infinte, bolting your opponent repeatedly until they are dead.
Question about number 4:
How do you use possibility storm to free cast Borborygmos if Enter the Infinite has put your entire library into your hand thus leaving nothing left in your library for possibility storm?
Wouldn’t you have to attempt to cast Borborygmos first and then 0 cast Ballista to actually get Borborygmos out, or am I missing something?

With Oko banned the Simic versions seem to be completely off the table, but if you still want to run Fae of wishes UR looks like it can be a proven avenue.
Nice idea. I was thinking about this deck the other day as it was one of my favourites back when it was in standard: ramping into omniscience, casting enter the infinite, cast borborygmos, win.

Am I correct to assume that enemy 3feri effectively locks me out of casting anything from hand?
If you have Possibility Storm out? Yes.
Also: RG version recently put up a 5-0 but more interestingly a UG version put up a 5-0 too.

Seems like the blue combo version may be the incorrect build and the original Beatdown with Combo finish is the more competitive direction.
