MTG Salvation

Preview season is here again! Here are some of the new commons from the set:

-Creature-
Aven Wind Mage - 2U-costed 2/2 flyer with semi-prowess ability (instants and sorceries only)
Bogstomper - vanilla 6/5 for 4BB (the cutest vegetarian alligator you've ever seen)
Bristling Boar - a 4/3 for 3G Stalking Tiger upgrade
Daybreak Chaplain - 1/3 lifelinker for 1W
Dwarven Priest - 3W 2/4 that gains you life for every creature you control when it enters the battlefield
Elvish Rejuvenator - 1/1 for 2G with an ability to look for a land off the top five cards of your library and putting it in the battlefield tapped
Goblin Instigator - Mogg War Marshal without the echo cost (and the dies trigger)
Hostile Minotaur - 3/3 haste for 3R
Kargan Dragonrider - 2/2 for 1R and has flying as long as you control a dragon (funny thought: this riding Nicol Bolas)
Loxodon Line Breaker - vanilla 3/2 elephant for 2W
Onakke Ogre - a Frenzied Raptor masquerading as an ogre
Scholar of Stars - a 3/2 human artificer for 3U that draws you a card when it ETBs as long as you control an artifact
Silverbeak Griffin - WW for a 2/2 flyer; could be considered in white weenie decks
Skeleton Archer - 1 damage to any target upon entering at 3/3 for 3B
Sparktongue Dragon - 3/3 flyer for 3RR with a "kicker" of 2R to deal 3 damage to any target
Star-Crowned Stag - Fiend Binder reprint with an additional point of toughness
Ursine Champion - generic "bear" (2/2 for 1G) with an overcosted ability of 5G (+3/+3 until end of turn, and becomes a not-so-generic Bear Berserker)

-Instant-
Strangling Spores - 3B instant, target creature gets -3/-3 until end of turn (holy heck Last Gasp, what happened?!)

-Sorcery-
Lich's Caress - sorcery for 3BB which destroys target creature and gaining you 3 life
Take Vengeance - color shifted Death Stroke for 1W

-Artifact-
Marauder's Axe - overcosted Bonesplitter (2) with an overcosted equip cost too (2)

-Enchantment-
Dwindle - Pin to the Earth variant at 2U but enchanted creature dies when assigned as a blocker
Knight's Pledge - 1W aura which grant a +2/+2 boost

Viashino Pyromancer for Burn?
Scholar of Stars for Affinity?

Gallant Cavalry seems like it would fit in certain decks, especially Caw Blade. Two 2/2 vigilant bodies for 3W can be quite potent.

Spoilers are complete! I've seen a few (as in very few) that can fit in existing archetypes, like the Viashino Pyromancer that Don D suggested, and another that can push a brew further (Sovereign's Bite), but otherwise, Core Set 2019 commons are meh.

The M19 cards seeing the most pauper play atm are:

Cavalry Drillmaster in white weenie along with Kor Skyfisher to reuse the ETB effect

Goblin Instigator as another token generator in the goblins deck

Elvish Rejuvenator as ramp AND tron search in tron decks
