A 1-mana Prophetic Prism that costs a snow mana just got spoiled. This card is legit. It's also a brilliant design for a card, since it's powerful but can't be effectively used by the existing decks that run Prism: Boros Monarch and Tron. So it encourages new archetypes, not the status quo.
Why wouldn't those decks just run Snow Lands instead and still be able to play the same suite of cards they already have? Seems like Boros and WB Decks just need to swap over to snow lands and they can run this card then? Not enough basics to reliably cast it?

They could, and people will try it, buuut I don't think it'll work out. Current Boros Monarch decks are playing about 3 basic lands because they also need the artifact lands to support their metalcraft theme. I just don't think they can support enough snow lands to reliably cast this.
As someone who plays Corrupt Control and UG Turbofog which absolutely hate burn to the face, I would be elated if Boros Monarch started playing Skred over Galvanic Blast. It'd make those matchups so vastly easier to win. Plus UB Delver is falling out of favor, making even less of a case for Skred.
I think this card will definitely be played, but I don't think it'll be a regular in Boros Monarch. WB Pestilence Midrange, though, might work for this.
C'mon, just give me a few more solid ninjas on the line of Ninja of the Deep Hours so I can build Ninja Tribal. Ingenious Infiltrator was a beast, but probably too strong at 3 toughness and making the effect stackable. Apparently they're a thing in this set's limited and they're still on 2 colors, so I expect a few black and blue ones at common.
Answered Prayers looks really good! A very strong design for Pauper as well!
As I said in the spoilers thread, the fact that it doesn't dodge Lightning Bolt when animated is somewhat of a drawback, but it and Martyr's Soul are still something I'm brewing with.

Shenanigans looks sideboard worthy in some decks. BR Reanimator side for sure I would think.

Defile is definitely going into my MBC deck. It's cheap and is relevant throughout the game while skirting around indestructible and regen plus it can target any creature.
Gilded Light is good tech against burn if you cast it on their upkeep to stop sorcery speed burn spells. It's also good against edict effects. This will see some sideboard play.
With recent bans in Pauper it seems Delver decks have a few slots to fill. Faerie Seer might find a place there. It helps Spellstutter Sprite and Scrying is good. Although if it doesn't replace itself then maybe it won't be used in Delver.
As said above Defile is the real deal in MBC. Quite the upgrade, almost like getting a black Skred.
Faerie Seer seems like it will slot into some Delver decks as well.
Ephemerate is going to see play somewhere where bounce/loop is needed.
Frostwalla could fit into a deck somewhere that wouldn't mind switching over to snow lands.

Defile and Faerie Seer are both very strong cards. Is the Scry 2 on the faerie better than the conditional card draw from Faerie Miscreant? I kind of think it might be...
So with the 3 new ninjas and Faerie Seer are we about to see a UB Ninja/Faerie deck in Pauper show up at Tier 1? Kind of a state of Pauper question but really more about those 3 cards.

There will definitely be a cool ninja deck in draft, but these cards will be too expensive for competitive Pauper matches.
The reason Ninja of the Deep Hours is the only commonly played ninja is that his ninjitsu cost is incredibly low and provides value as soon as he connects, often creating a 3-for-1 situation for you even if they deal with it immediately.
None of the ninja cards so far have a ninjitsu of less than 3. Just that makes them difficult to use well.
That being said, Ninja of the New Moon could be a good finisher in some black decks. You want to be reusing your Chittering Rats and Liliana's Specters, and this card lets you do that on curve as well as deal a whopping 6 damage out of nowhere. 3 toughness is relevant in combat and against removal, and keeping the board clear of blockers will let him finish the game on turn 5 or 6.
The end dump of spoilers has occurred. There are some interesting commons for sure. Looks like Esper colors get the best stuff. Wish RG would get the same treatment.
Blue Eyekite Just more blue aggro creature power. It never ends. Iceberg Cancrix Another Delve enabler and bolt proof. Phantasmal Form Because blue needs multiple 3/3 flyers right on the cheap. Rain of Revelation Jeskai players rejoice. A couple of blue cc reducers and there you go draw 3 for 2 mana.
Black Gluttonous Slug Evolve now in black. MBC may toy with it possibly??? Mob A one mana Murder in the right deck. Putrid Goblin More Persist for GY recursion shenanigans, Aristocrats maybe??? Ransack the Lab Yep just what B needed more of. A black brainstorm Angler enabler Return from Extinction Zombie fans rejoice.
RED
A pile of trash commons dumped.
GREEN
Little here. Okay maybe Rime Tender in a snow ramp deck or Winding Way but there are better choices than it as well. Treetop Ambusher maybe for stompy??? Maybe for RG Cascade???
Colorless
Basically nothing. Fountain of Ichor may be the closest thing we ever get to a man-land I suppose.
PS: Don't get me wrong. I am very happy that we have new cards possibly playable in Pauper. Just wish some of the RG stuff was more playable and "stronger". Maybe in Modern Horizons 2.

Return from Extinction is an excellent card. Not too hard to get the value out of it, even in non-tribal decks.
I wonder about Mob. Convoke seems difficult to pull off. You definitely don't want to pay more than 1B for it, but that's already quite an investment of creatures on the battlefield.
Eyekite is very easy to activate, making it a 2-mana Delver of Secrets, basically. You do have to keep cantripping ever turn before combat, so the combination of the extra cost and this downside makes me think it won't see a whole lot of play. Maybe alongside other efficient fliers.
Phantasmal Form could be a cool finisher in some decks. I like that it cantrips. It can give you evasion and one final little boost in power with a Kiln Fiend or something and get in for the kill. Or maybe turn some weenies like Faeries or Mana dorks into actual threats. 6 damage for 3 mana and a draw is pretty sweet.
Rain of Revelation is an awesome card. It's so simple, yet so powerful as an instant. I could definitely see this as a 1-2 in many control decks.
Forgot about Guardian Idol. Its nearly unplayable as well. Wish we could get a real man-land.
I also wish we could get another effect like Treefolk Umbra in Pauper so I could run a Big Butt (Toughness) deck.

The only real-ish manland we've gotten is Cradle of the Accursed, which is not a terrible card per se, but just not playable enough. Paying basically 4 for a 2/2 zombie is not quite competitive enough.
It's very rare that we get so many playables in just one set. Across all colours, too. Blue definitely seems to get more goodies, but I think other cards will have more impact.
Yep blue ALWAYS gets more goodies. At this rate there will have to be more bans out of blue. MH1 has been a nice little shot in the arm for all colors (except colorless/artifacts). I don't think its going to change the overall meta much at all, but it will nibble around the edges.
Still would love to see a real man-land (recurrable and playable at instant speed), not the psuedo-manland like Cradle. Maybe someday. Just wish that someday was sooner than later.

Moonblade Shinobi is definitely in. I don't know about the other two, though. A straight up mono U Faerie/Ninja seems more consistent.
The reason Ninja of the Deep Hours is the only commonly played ninja is that his ninjitsu cost is incredibly low and provides value as soon as he connects, often creating a 3-for-1 situation for you even if they deal with it immediately.

Phantom Ninja is a terrible enabler in a world of Faeries and Ornithopters. The only thing that's interesting about it is the flavour with Phantom Warrior.
The two best ninjas in Pauper are still Ninja of the Deep Hours and Mistblade Shinobi. By a long-shot.
That being said, Ninja of the New Moon could be a good finisher in some black decks.
