It's too bad Darkness isn't legal online... But it's probably a great sideboard choice in Paper!
No Vault Skirge? This would probably help against aggressive decks. Maybe more Bonesplitters, too.
Is Dead Reveler doing good work? Seems expensive.
Oooh, I like darkness for the side. Helps with loss of life and gets the enemy to tap their critters.
I have played with vault skirge a lot in the past, and in the current pauper world I don't like it. The amount of 1 toughness killing removal is too high, and it can't trade with delvers or survive getting blocked by a faerie. To make it really go it needs equipment or enchantments, which makes the deck less consistent.
Dead Reveler is actually quite good, as the deck tends to hit three lands fairly quickly at 18 lands. It is also castable turn 1 with dark ritual, which is back breaking for a lot of decks to deal with and is the primary reason I run it. A 3/4 before your opponent plays a land often deals 9 or more damage itself.

Heh I'm on the record with being wary about too many 1-toughness guys as well. IMO Skirge fits my strategy of aggro-control better, as I have discard to help rip removal, but it really does need more Bonesplitters to make the most of every swing.
Since I'm still on the Train train though, I've ditched a lot of equipment as well as Skirges. Train Tramples in for 5 on turn two off a turn 1 Ritual and turn 2 pilot (all my guys can crew it alone). If I ever get sick of trains, I might try 2-3 Reveler. I like the fact that it can come down turn 1, but it's still card disadvantage if they turn 1 Innocent Blood, and it's smaller than the Zombie Fish I used to run 2 of as my big beaters.

Freighter is okay, but I found running it that it opened up a can of worms for me.
1. It turns on instant speed artifact hate, which nearly everyone runs.
2. It has 3 toughness until it attacks, so it dies to lightning bolt.
3. It ties up a creature every turn, which can be problematic with some hands. Specifically in removal heavy metas, if you drop to 0 other creatures it turns off.
Personally I like vehicles more in llanowar elves style decks where the creatures double as ramp and fuel for the vehicles; in aggro decks they feel clunky.
Yeah, totally agree with those points. I'm mostly doing it because I have a slower, more aggro-control strategy to my build with better insight into their hand, and I wanted to try the train anyway (a.k.a. "ooh shiny").

I have actually been considering dropping sign in blood for bump in the night anyway, I certainly do not want 8...
