Thanks a lot for the heads up! There is always a confusion, because daylight saving time ends 2 weeks earlier in Europe AND Tribal always starts at the same 'universal' time, which means 1 h earlier for everybody at winter time.
However, gatherling shows correctly your local starting time in hours or minutes from now( as countdown), if you entered your time zone in your profile!
I am tempted to add Sylvan Reclamation to my decks, because it can cause a blowout in cases when the opponent has 2 juicy targets (for example, goodbye Courser of Kruphix and Sword of Feast & Famine, or to take another example, goodbye Eidolon of the Great Revel and Sulfuric Vortex), and it can be a lifesaver in other cases if you are stuck on 2 or 3 mana and are desperate to see more lands. In the end, there are much more powerful choices for 5 mana, so my verdict is that Sylvan Reclamation is weak, but flexible and fun.
If used in 4 or 5 colordecks , to be able to get a needed one, maybe ok, because it's flexible. Otherwise it's a 5 mana spell, which CAN be very good, or not at all. For me, it's maximally a sideboard card. There are just better cards to fill the ranks.
I haven't gotten to play S100 in weeks. I decided today that I would try to make time for it. I put together a terrible land destruction deck and then I had this happen to me in my first game (see attached screenshot). Even though I'd killed every permanent my opponent had put into play I lost because Gatherling never told me my deck was illegal. Please for the love of god, if you are going to ban a card UPDATE GATHERLING.
As far as I'm aware, no one in the s100 community has the right (not to mention coding ability) to update the legality list in Gatherling. Those who do have the admin rights and coding knowledge are volunteers and we can't demand any timeframes (in fact we're very grateful that they do anything at all, because it's all volunteer work). And in fact they do a great job for us.
It only takes 20 seconds to read the ban list on Page 1 of the forum. If anyone has been absent for a few weeks, then there's even more reason to take a quick glance at Page 1 of the forum, which will summarise the conclusions reached in any discussions in recent forum threads. This will save you the need to read through weeks of recent forum posts. Plus, even on Gatherling, the link to the chainsaw event takes you directly to Page 1 of the forum thread, to make it even easier to perform the quick glance.
(Also, for interest, other player run events follow the same protocol as us, for example in Classic Heirloom there are cards which are banned on Page 1 of the forum thread, but appear as legal in Gatherling. Page 1 prevails. I know this because I have had to concede to my opponent in the past because I failed to read Page 1 of the Classic Heirloom thread and just assumed that the deck which Gatherling accepted was fine. That incident taught me to read Page 1 in future, and I also hope that players read this post so that they don't make the same mistake which I and gumgod made, because it's something very easy to make and easy to avoid).

This is exactly why I argued for either the full banning or unbanning of Swords to Plowshares and Decree of justice in heirloom. Having cards that were legal only in certain decks was incredibly difficult to keep track of. It would catch newer players and returning players with lists that were once legal that were not legal under the current rules. Heirloom even has a legality checker to help with this problem, and still people would get tripped up by it.
For this event I put that deck list together at the last minute, and was lucky to even get into the event. I was still making cuts when I hit register with less than 1 minute left to enter my list. It was a real feel bad moment to have fought past all the control and eliminated the entire board only to be told I wasn't allowed to win because of a bug that I didn't know about. I felt rules lawyered out of a game, and that could have been avoided by simply having the card show up in red when I entered it in in gatherling. I realize that people are busy, but if this has been illegal for three weeks or longer, surely someone could have updated the legality list for it by now.
To be fair, I still had fun playing in the event. Clearing out Deonmag's board with wildfire in the third game of our match made it all worth while.
Also I submitted a bug report to Wizards about the Demon after this match. They said they are aware of the problem, and couldn't give me an ETA. I hope that pestering them about it will help make it a higher priority to resolve.
I personally don't think that WotC will ever fix this bug, unless the Desecration Demon becomes popular in an eternal format and many eternal players post reimbursement requests. This will motivate WotC to prioritise the issue. I say this because WotC never even bothered to add Desecration Demon to the Known Issues List.
So if they can't be bothered to add the card to the Known Issues List, I have no hope that they will bother to fix the bug.
I predict that we will need to wait until the next client is launched after several years before we will see this card in the s100 format.

The last card I remember complaining about is Necrotic Ooze, and they did fix it, so there is hope. It took them a while, but they eventually got to it.
Would you like me to continue the old tradition of creating trophies for the Champion each week? This can be my humble contribution to the chainsaw tournament.
Below is an example which I did for the Classic Pauper event.
If the answer is yes, then can I ask: Do you have the admin rights to upload trophies to Gatherling (after I email them to you each week)?

I think trophies would be cool. Might bring more visibility to the event when people see trophies on player's profile pages.
Hi folks, sorry for my silence respectively absence. I had fever and didn't leave my bed since Monday. I'm still coughing and sweating, but I'm no more completely knocked out. Indeed, today I began to get bored with just watching TV( which means some brain functions return .-), so I changed my place temporarily to the desktop. I will set up the event now, and hope to be fit enough to participate, too( and not only hosting).
Now for Michelle: Of course I have no rejections! And I can upload them. If LeilaPari ever made a 'neutral' trophy for S100( like the Heirloom champion one), we would still use it. But he even made 'personalized' trophies each week(at start), so with his departure the whole trophy thing died. I would suggest to spend a lot of time for a real cool trophy, which is used regularily afterwards. I don't mind at all, if you want to spent time on a new trophy each week, but as our event history shows, if there will be a delay for whatever reason( job, sickness, vacation, etc) and you must make 4 trophies or more for the last winners who are waiting, this could be really annoying.
And if I'm allowed to make a suggestion about the art itself, use 'strong' colors and contrasts and a rather clear motive or theme. A green dragon in front of a red sunset.. A white skull lying on a black( scorched?) treasure chest, etc. Something that shines even miniturazied. Another good example: My avatar here on MTGOsalvation( which is taken from my S100 trophy). And at the other end of the scale: The tribal trophy. A brilliant example how a trophy should NOT be. That's not enough: It's the ugliest trophy I've ever seen! Several layers of pictures above each other, there is no theme at all! TRIBALApocalypse WINNER is one term with 3 words, but each with different colors and fonts! I tried to simulate that here, but have a look at the original yourself! Disclaimer: The author is not liable for any damages to your mood, health or eyesight explicitly. Look at your own risk! It's pure chaos, and indeed gives you a foresight of the apocalypse. But honestly, it is rather a punishment than a reward in any players profile. So in general I would prefer one masterpiece for all than dozens half-hearted or hurried ones for each winner. But maybe the players see this differently!? What's your opinion? Perhaps 1 trophy per month? This way, you are not in a hurry to do it, or forced to produce one each week.
I like the idea of a neutral trophy of a high standard which we can keep recycling. I hope someone comes forward to create that trophy template (I'm not the best person for that). Until that happens, I can create simple ones based on a card from the winning player's decklist.
Below is an example of a trophy which I made for another tournament, and I can follow that type of style for s100.
There are a lot of free picture galleries, all trophies from S100 have been made of those, so far. The art is to find a suitable motive and/or focus on a detail or part of a bigger picture, because many of the pictures are just a 'colored, more or less undefinable spot' when minimized to the size of a trophy. I have a mail with links for about 10 of those galleries from LeilaPari, which I could send you. Also, I can search motives and did already in the past, but all editing, resizing, adding of texts, etc would be up to you.
However, I think that your penny dreadful trophy is nicely done! But I liked it more at bigger size, after clicking on it. The actual trophy size in players profile list is closer to the preview size in your post!
Let's try something, cut out only the left head down to neck( no hands visible). Cut on the right, shortly before the next head hairs start, on the left the same distance from head to the edge of the cutted picture. Resize that detail to the original picture size, and I think it's an even more impressive trophy. If you post it here, too, we have the direct comparison. Spontanously with only the preview size of the trophy, I would have decided for the blue glowing hand in the front as best detail, but after I saw the close up, I think the face is more impressive.
And this could be already our S100 trophy. Seriously!
I don't know how skillful you are, or how difficult the task, but afterwards you could experiment with some added details, in one version a black horn is growing from his fronthead, in another a red (patterned) snake serves as 'scarf', etc. But I'm not sure if that is necessary at all. Also, at the moment, the 'head' is human, and stands for the player who won the event using his magic( cards).
I like your idea ML_Berlin. I think that idea would work well.
I have another idea: I think that the image in the trophy for use in all s100 events should have a specific relevance to our tournament.
For example:
A chainsaw should be present in the image. What is the point of a chainsaw massacre without a chainsaw!
Or, maybe something funny like the card Coercive Portal. For those who have been reading the past discussions on this forum, we have had a good chat and smile about this card.
Therefore I would encourage anyone interested to submit a design for players to comment on. I will donate my cultural master quiz prize tickets to the person who sends the best one.
(Regarding the trophy which is given each week for the other tournament which you mentioned, I am sad that you are not liable for the damages to my MOOD, health or eyesight.

Does this mean, that you agree with me about the tribal trophy, from the artistic point of view?
Why not adding a Chainsaw blade coming from the left side in his back? He doesn't see the danger, he is casting a spell, blue energy is emerging from him and soon he may be beheaded..

I think ML_Berlin probably has the ability to make changes to the legality list. no coding is required for this. It is adding brand new sets that likely requires a bit of PHP, though there may be a way to import these cards sets via api, but I digress. If ml does not have permission to update legality in his tourney he could certainly get it, when I started my own shortly lived PRE I set up my own legality list and made changes when new sets came out. It is basically a bunch of check boxes for sets and you simply search for cards to add to your banned list (or restricted list). I think having a message that says a card is banned in gatherling is a much simpler solution than expecting someone to go to the website read the list and cross reference. Even with an accurate list in gatherling people still have problems submitting legal decks and berlin has to go and fix things...
Thank you Michelle, glad you talked me into playing a few weeks back and definitely happy to join the community of great folks all playing in this eclectic format of a great game. P.S. your choice of card for the imagery could only have been topped by the promo art of the same--something about her pale green eyes and deadpan visage just says: "I'm bringing the business". I look forward to next week and wish everyone good luck and fun; take it easy folks.
