I haven't tested the 2nd version much so if you decide to run it, please tell me your findings.
As for the Hastey version, I've had no problems with any other type of aggro. RG Radha is annoying if you're not racing them as fast as is preferable... but it's not by any means impossible. Teferi decks and Dstorm decks are pretty easy matches, especially if the opponent behind the deck is an idiot. This is the case often on Magic-League. Damnation can be pretty annoying, so try to hold
Yes, I did in fact forget about Swarmyard for the Bees. This is because the Bees were a last minute addition in place of Sprout.
Here's my matchups so far:
Tough matchup, but a bad opponent guarantees a 2-0 win for me here. Both games he follows up an Armageddon (Boom/Bust, the Bust side) by sacrificing his lands to put Greater Gargadon into play. In the first scenario my Essence Wardens ensured that my life total would be intact and stable at 31 after it hit me once, and my own Utopia Vow'd Essence Warden taps with the Forest I was holding to Utopia Vow his Gargadon ftw. In the second game, it was similar only I had to take two hits from Gargadon because I wasn't going to sacrifice my Uktabi Drake with him at 6... I was holding a Might of Old Krosa. My first turn after the Armageddon I drew an Unyaro Bees, and then I sacrificed my Essence Warden to block to keep me at 10. I topdecked a land ftw.
This matchup shouldn't usually be too hard post-board, and even pre-board with the correct hand. First game on the play I get a one-land hand and mull it to a zero-land hand and mull it to a 5-card one-land hand with an Essence Warden and keep it. I don't draw another land for the rest of the game. Game 2 he gets a quick Mishra followed by a Serrated Arrows topdeck while I proceed to lose my only creatures except Primal Forcemage. And then he Voids for 3, and I lose two Groundbreakers from hand. He goes on to win the game.
This time it's a good player. Game 1 is close and I almost lose, but topdeck a land with three in play to Timbermare ftw directly after he plays Hellkite and blows up my field. Game 2 he mulls to four cards and drops one Radha... which gets Utopia Vow'd and he has no other spells for the duration of the game.
Yes, another one. And this time I'm not so lucky. The player is amazing, and their decklist is equally unrivaled. I'm not going to go into many specifics, but both games I got 3 lands (which should be enough to start for this deck) and both games I saw 2x Mwonvuli Acid-Moss and 1x Avalanche Riders. That's very hard to deal with. After this game I dropped to tweak the deck as Top-8ing was out of the question.
RG Radha Aggro is a very tough matchup (especially if they have LD) and so far I haven't found a way to tweak the deck to fix that problem. Any suggestions to improve this matchup or any others would be greatly appreciated.
that mana is a big tempo boost for your opponent. i would suggest a controlish answer to this: Mwonvuli Acid-Moss. on the play it's a two card tempo swing for you, as follows.
you turn 1: Forest, Magus of the Vineyard
opp turn 1: Land, maybe they use the mana, maybe they get burnt. (it's a risk)
you turn 2: Forest, Mwonvuli Acid-Moss (they lose land, you get one.)
opp turn 2: Land, same deal
you turn 3: Forest and 6 mana to use.
My only qualm with Magus of the Vineyard is that sometimes the tempo benefits you, sometimes it burns you, and sometimes your opponent makes crazy moves with the mana *coughTarmscough*
I've found that this deckbuild is pretty efficient for me.
My only problem at the moment is deciding a sideboard for the current block metagame. Things like Serrated Arrows, Utopia Vow, spare Harmonizes/Stonewood Invocations are already there, but some other things I wanted to consider were Veilstone Amulet and Squall Line (Amulet, I feel, would work well against Korlash and U/B Teachings: deny a Slaughter Pact or Tendrils target if you drop a creature/force their hand)
I've been working on some ideas for MGA in Block. I love my MGA standard deck and have been consistently getting in the top 4 at local tournaments. I'm trying to adjust that deck so its good in block.
With Mono-Green Haste, I always feel that without Harmonize, you run out of steam. Magus of the Library is also effective as a card-fixer if you don't get the play.

[GTC] Gatecrash Patch for MWS (249/249)
Well here goes. Please make suggestions.
20 Forest
Creatures
4 Uktabi Drake
4 Scryb Ranger
4 Wall of Roots
4 Groundbreaker
4 Timbermare
4 Spectral Force
4 Magus of the Vineyard
4 Might of Old Krosa
4 Call of the Herd
4 Stonewood Invocation
4 Utopia Vow
4 Krosan Grip
4 Tarmogoyf
3 Vesuva
With regards to Uktabi Drake/Groundbreaker/Timbermare, where are the Primal Forcemages?
Also, Avoid Fate or Veilstone Amulet? I need a tricky play to counter that annoying Tendrils of Corruption or Slaughter Pact. Stonewood Invocation is an excellent finisher, but I wouldn't 4-of it. Cut it down to two with 1 in side, maybe. Especially since you don't need 3 Vesuva.
