I don't see a good use for all the mana this deck can generate either. splash red for Disintegrate? or some other X spell? take it out of block and use Skeletal Vampire?
Pumping the Overseer to lethal with all the mana is cute, but can be stopped easily enough.

I am looking for Date Stamped promos from Khans of Tarkir block so I can finish my set. Check my wants if you have any.
Currently offering 2 non-foil Kolighan's Command for a Date Stamped foil!
i was thinking desinigrate..... i have some variations to this deck ive been testing but the nether traitors become infanite as well so i find myself attacking with three infanite shadow creatures and having the control for any non crature threats...
yeah ive been thinking about mindstab...its pretty slow ive found and i think ill be making changes with sudden spoil cause ive found that the deck runs tight against hord
What happens when one of your pieces is stopped? What's your backup?
I don't mean to insult this too much, but this deck is rather unstable. There's no redundancy and very few tutor effects.
I love the Collusions in here, because just one Collusion will be able to get all the pieces of your combo. In fact, I'd venture to say this might be salvagable *if* you went up to the full complement of Collusions. You'd still need to find a way to fuel them, though.
Also, there has to be something else in this block that has synergy with the Traitors.
you don't stay in block but use all that black mana in something really useful. but if you want to stay in block try desintigrate or to a leser extent Conflagrate

You answered your own question regarding Consume Spirit.
Keep in mind that if it's posted in Block, it's meant to be a Block deck.
Well... infinite mana means a Stronghold Overseer with infinite power?
What else do you need to kill someone?
Flying, Shadow, infinite power... seems good to me.
There is a strong synergy between the Overseer, the Basal Sliver, the Hivestone and the Nether Traitor.
The combo is nice but I wouldn't use it as my main win condition, but only as something who could gives me an instant kill. For the rest, I would focus on the shadow theme a bit (hello dauthi slayer) or I would splash blue for some telekinetic sliver and Merfold Thaumaturgist (yep, with the overseer, this guy is a killer). If you're using the hivestone... the sengir autocrat is a nice buddy too.
Actually keeping this Mono-black with Hivestone is very interesting. You don't need the Overseer to attack to win, as you can fill your pool with mana and then pump your Hasted Traitor to squeeze in for the kill. Get the loop in tact, fill your pool with enough mana to play the Overseer, fill the pool with enough mana to go lethal, then keep your Hastey Traitor in play, pumping it and the Overseer +20/+0 and attack FTW.
You need a total of 2 Nether Traitors, 1 Hivestone, 1 Basal Sliver and a Stronghold Overseer to go off. You only need to be able to pay mana for Hivestone, Basal Sliver and a Nether Traitor. If you go turn 1 Mindlash Sliver, turn 2 Hivestone and turn 3 Basal Sliver, you can go off turn 3.
4x NEther Traitor
3x Stronghold Overseer
1x Singir Nosferatu
4xLotus Bloom
2x Demonic Collusion
there, now it doesn't hurt.
