After watching some TS block events on MTGO, I discovered that the Mono-U morph deck can be built on a budget, so I decided that could at least craft a marginally competitive deck. Granted, it doesn't seem to be a terribly strong deck, it's cheap and I'm trying to adjust it to my liking. Without further ado, the deck list:
A few notes before I give some comments about my deck and anyone offers suggestions:
I play on MTGO and I'm on a budget, so Psionic Blasts are not an option, unless they happen to fall into my collection. Ancestral Visions aren't toohard to grab, but they'd definitly be a stretch for how much I want to spend.
Most of the MUM decks seem to be going heavy on the critters, and I cut back a bit for more controling cards to buy time. Morph creatures are susceptible to lots of removal, and without acceleration, it's impossible to hit the Brine/Shapshifter lock before turn 8, so we need to get there.
I have Draining Whelk in there as protection for turn 6 that can turn into a win condition if it hits the right spell, and cancel for earlier turns.
I have the lone Ixidron in there and I may even be daft enough to get a few more and pump them into the side board, as I'm sure it can do good against spectral force and slivers.
I have dream stalkers in the sideboard for the really fast decks like mono-white, but I'm certain they should be fledgling mawcors and/or prodigal sorcerers. The Deep Sea Krakens are in there in case I have the need for a big creature against a spell happy deck.
I guess that's all.
Any help or suggestions would be great.
Also, I'm very new to the constructed scene, and while I don't intend to get too deep, I'd like to get better. If anyone of you who uses MTGO and can help me and point out playing errors, it'd be much appreciated if we could run some matches. My username on MTGO is also Tarbosh917.
Thanks for any and all help.

If your ultimate goal is to get to 8 mana for Brine/Shapeshifter shananigans, shuffle the Fathom seers into your sideboard. Surely the setback sending two islands back to your hand stifles your stratagem.

The seer can still be cast early to slow down aggro decks even without its morph.:teach:
Some of you may have been in shock since we invaded Canada and Mexico, but fear not, it was for a good cause. Now that we conrol North America, we produce an extra 5 armies a turn.^_^
Considering this playing green seems pretty good, what with Wall of Roots doing the same and speeding up your combo. However, I'm not sure if the deck is really all that much oriented on the combo. Against burn decks, a Willbender every turn is pretty nice, and against control, drawing 2 extra cards is some good also I hear.
Yeah, I think the deck is best attributed to the hijinks associated with the shapeshifter, which one of those tricks happen to include a pretty tough lock. Also, I like fathom seer, as I usually play it for 2, then on turn 3 I morph shapeshifter, then starting turn four I can start drawing 2 cards for 2 mana each turn, which is really nice.
I definitly considered adding green. I'll see if I can wheel and deal online and get myself some thelonite hermits. Dipping into green allows mana accel as well, so that would help. And from there I may even go a tad further and add white for momentary blink. A few guys on MTGO who i've played mentioned that most of the truly competetive builds of the morph deck [called soggy pickles, i guess?] splash white for blinks. Having it paired with green also let's me run aspect of the mongoose which may or may not help tons against monoblack.
Although, after playing against several decks in the tourny practice room, I noticed that this deck is too slow against mono black decks abusing bad moon. By the time I start my fun at 3 mana, that's when they get their removal on. This makes me think that optimally I'll have a willbender in hand and morph it turn 5, so it can unmorph and take out their annoying critters. Happily, this even lets me redirect Sudden Death, as morph is one of the very few things that can screw around with Split Second. These matches have made me want to maybe lean more to removal. I may have to pick up some Serrated Arrows, although those are a bit above par for budget cards.
Also, I've toyed around with the idea of the great synergy between Serrated Arrows and Clockspinning. Since clockspinning generall references 'counters', you can add a counter to the arrows, or add a -1/-1 counter to a creature that alreayd has it. I figure such a pairing of cards should be maindecked, as slivers, monoblack, and monowhite sport very aggressive decks that could get help with applying -1/-1 counters.
Perhaps I'll buy a few tix tonight and get some Arrows.
Also, I'm sure that the deck and sideboard could use some fine tuning. I have 4 copies of snapback and 4 copies of wipe away, and I'm wondering if that's too much bounce than needed, and if maybe spell burst is a better option?
Edit: about the sideboard, I don't think you'll ever want 8 bounce spells. Just think about what you'd have to throw out, it would dilute the deck far too much.
Perhaps, but that comes to the question of which ones? Snapback can be played for *free*, and wipe away is uncounterable. So perhaps 2/2? 3/1? I like Snapback a bit more, as it allows be to knock back their turn 2 drop so that I can buy another turn, morph a critter, and be the one applying some pressure come turn 4.
I'll try to get a hold of some Wall of Roots and hopefully some Serrated Arrows and work from there.
Also, are the dream stalkers necessary? They're good against aggro and slivers for at least a little while, but I just don't know what to yank from my deck when sideboarding.
Is looter-il kor a good idea? I've been avoiding it since I usually want to keep lands since the deck is mana hungry, and most all of the card I have tend to be very useful, so I'd just be giving myself more fits over what to discard. True, it pings most of the time, but when this deck works, it rarely will be relying on that early damage to squeak through.
