I'd say Pendelhaven Elders are a must. The whole point of playing Thallids is to generate 1/1 tokens, so a critter that can give all of them extra p/t on demand is an auto-include.

Unfortunately, one cannot use Pendelhaven Elders en-masse to mass-pump one's army, as it checks the creatures' power and toughness twice, and once of these two instances that the game checks is upon resolution.
This deck seems a bit awkward, especially with the utilisation of four Thelons, and the slightly more costly spells, such as Verdeloth.
Oh, yeah, you realised the Thelon. It is a good idea to splash black for Thelon's ability, but if you were to splash, your deck would be transformed from Mono-Green Thallids to a Black-Green Neo-Rock variant, or something, especially with Putrefy still on the tips of the tongues of people. It's unlikely that you'll make any use of Thelon's BG ability, because you don't want to lose your Fungi anyway.
One definite thing I must point out is that your deck doesn't have anything to cope with the early game. Sure, Call of the Herd may be okay to stop that nasty ... it's block-constructed. Yep, I guess it's good here. How about a couple of Walls, like Wall of Roots?
It's actually a brilliant idea to add black because of that Thallid which allow you to sacrifice Saprolings to have creatures get -1/-1 until end of turn. While we are on the subject of destroying with the might of black, you can also use cards like Feebleness to hinder your opponents' assault, or Conspiracy to make all your creatures Fungi (not that is really tech or anything - well, it does work with Thelon and the Sporesower Thallid to make a massive army of massive creatures). Verdant Embrace can also be used to speed up the flow of Saprolings, however, it is an Aura, and thus will often result in opponents flinging their spells at that particular creature. (Enchanting an opponents creatures will make them gain creatures because Verdant Embrace grants the ability to the creature unfortunately, so there isn't any shifty tech going on where a player deliberately kills their creature.) Thallid Germinator can also be used in your deck, though it isn't absolutely awesome, however, it can sacrifice your 1/1 Saprolings to give a creature +1/+1 of your choice!:)
If you are going to play black-green you can add Terramorphic Expanse to assist in searching out the preferred lands.
The deck is a bit slow to get going, especially with the lack of quality land-searching, but that's because Time Spiral isn't Kamigawa II. Hivestone puzzles me, but I'm guessing you added it to have your creatures benefit from your opponents Slivers, if they are playing them. Overall, I think that the focus is not on the Thallids, but a theme on random token creatures. If it were a Thallid deck there would be a greater emphasis on them. This can be done by using actual Thallids, and replacing certain cards for others.
Run the shell devourer.
It is a 2 cost creature that is exceptional for its cost:
average 2 cost is 2/2 = 4
this is 0/5 = 5
abilities i rate at around 7/10 - standard thallid
and defender on this isnt really a downside!

Upon seeing planeswalkers, MmmCesium had this to say:
Yes, I was just going to say that the deck needs Strength in Numbers. Scion of the Wild is out of Block, but if we were going out of block, I wouldn't even use him.
If you're going to play Strangling Soot, I suggest adding one mountain in order to pay the flashback cost if the situation arises. You can fetch it out of your deck easily with the expanse/Search for tomorrows.

Wall of Roots is a very possible addition. With 4 Search for Tomorrows already, I think the deck has the acceleration it needs. But what to replace? I thought:
-2x Stonewood Invocation
-1x Thelon of Havenwood
-1x Gauntlet of Power
And no, it's not a Thallid theme deck, but it's got some of them and Saproling-creating effects. I don't think the other Thallids are worth it, they're too slow. Wall of Roots > Thallid Shell-Dweller. Strength in Numbers is cool, but too situational and often a win-more card.

A possibility would be to include black to make the most out of Thelon's ability, and maybe add some black tech...

Thallid Shell-Devourer can be used as an early-game, big blocker.
Deathspore Thallid is that black Thallid's name.;) I remember now.
If you are going to play black-green you can add Terramorphic Expanse to assist in searching out the preferred lands.

To add to the “Rock” aspect, Dread Return might be a good addition to help save your Deathspore Thallids and Sporesower Thallids.

4 Search for Tomorrow hardly qualifies as no acceleration.
There isn't much, but it's there. Plus, there's only two Verdeloth.
-2x Stonewood Invocation
-1x Thelon of Havenwood
-1x Gauntlet of Power

I heartily endorse this product and/or service.
Although, I'm thinking maybe:
-1 Stonewood Invocation
-1 Thelon
-2 Gauntlet.
