In playtesting I noticed that of about half the games I lose (mostly to other aggro) it's because I got them up to nine counters before they stabilized and then I'm stuck. I wonder if there is a cheap proliferation engine we could bring in for that last counter or two.
You can always try Caress of Phyrexia. Although the cost might be restrictive, it can finish off your opponent if not countered. Or you can use it on yourself if you run out of gas.
If I'm going to go that high on the curve I may just try and fit a pair of Contagion Clasps in there. Although I've wanted to win a game off of Caress of Phyrexia ever since I saw it.
Throne of Geth Is great, at the least its a two cost proliferate, and you can reuse it if you're running artifacts (necropede, tumble magnet with no more counters). I play it with Ichor Wellspring, very useful.
The only thing I bring it in against is Puresteel, otherwise Grasp of Darkness is better for most threats given the sheer amount of artifacts in Block.
Two comments... one if you're going with Grasp of Darkness, why not Dismember? Two, it seems a bit proliferate-heavy. I had some proliferate in my build also but without the artifact counters I found it kind of one-dimensional and that it took up precious space for either direct removal, more creatures or some kind of pump.

That particular list strikes a good balance between aggro and removal (which suits me just fine) but I have seen some decks that lean much more heavily on the removal and have good success too.
Right now the sideboard is pretty simple. Imps replace Vatmother for mirror match and in go Mutagenic Growth and Tezzeret's Gambit. Ratchet Bomb is for when I'm facing swarms and maybe to deal with planewalkers. Despise is mostly for plainswalkers and the Ichor Rats replace the Vatmother when I want to speed the deck up, or if I'm having trouble getting through with creatures.
I find that the proliferate works incredibly well, I've won games without a creature doing damage, but generally they work together, and in the case of removal proliferate is harder to deal with than creatures.
I use the grasp instead of dismember because I'm fine with the two drop, and prefer not to spend life when I don't need to.
However, I am thinking of taking out the Plague Myr's, suggestions on what I should put in? Preferably a two drop, but I'm open.
@ZackyB... ya, I'm starting to get sold on the proliferate too. Also, if you want to replace your plague myr with another 2-drop, i'd suggest ichorclaw myr considering you've already got the plague stingers and necropedes.
Plague Stingers are great for a 2-drop, especially if you have pump in your hand. Also, I love Mutagenic Growth for this deck but I can't seem to find a place for it. It's in my SB to replace some other pump for mirror matches but I'd like to make it work in the main.
I've edited my previous post to update my deck based on some testing last night. It's a very different mix... especially the control/removal.
I think yours might be a bit creature heavy, you're running 21 plus the 4 nexus. I think running 4 Virulent Wound is a must in this deck, it's the best early game, takes out so much, and poisons for proliferate (If you have any) like clasp. Also, If you're running Tumble Magnet maybe put in more proliferate for it or some Throne of Geth to get rid of it when it's gone. Which reminds me, Tumble Magnet could be really good, what should I drop for it?
I've thought the same thing myself about being creature heavy but I can't decide what to cut. The Plague Myr would be first on the chopping block but they make Turn 4 Skithiryx and Turn 3 Vatmother possible. The flyers also have to stay because evasion is key for poison. And the Crusaders? Well, they're just monsters. It's quite the dilema... I had a hard enough time cutting my Hand of the Praetors... hehe...
You're definitely right about virulent wound though. I need to find space for two more. I'd also like Mutagenic Growth in the main because speed is key in this deck and I'd trade 2 life for two poison counters any day.
Any helps on the above two points is greatly appreciated.
To get Tumble Magnet in, I'd replace some combination of Throne of Geth, Tezzeret's Gambit and Ichor Wellspring. I love Tumble Magnets and they work really well with proliferate... especially in Tumble vs. Tumble matchups...
Here's one I want to through out for debate... Contagion Clasp... seems pretty pricey for proliferate... hard to spare 4 mana a lot of turns. Is it worth is? or should I find another proliferator? Throne of Geth is out because I don't run enough artifacts.
Thanks for the back-and-forth ZackyB... all others are welcome to join in the debate.

Tell me what you think!
I've pretty much been using this build. The Grasp Of Darkness is in addition to the Dismember that is already in the MD. I haven't really changed it much, I replaced the Marrow Shards with Tumble Magnets in the side board. I'm testing Contagion Clasp in place of the Mortarpod but I still haven't decided which one I like better.

Interesting approach with your build (i.e. less creature but tons of pump and removal)
Anyways, here's the build I plan on taking to the tournaments on MTGO:
19 Swamps
4 Inkmoth Nexus
Creatures
4 Whispering Specter
4 Phyrexian Crusader
4 Plague Stinger
2 Phyrexian Vatmother
3 Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon
4 Plague Myr
4 Dismember
3 Contagion Clasp
3 Tumble Magnets
2 Virulent Wound
4 Piston Sledge
2 Flesh-eater Imps
2 Ichor Rats
2 Despise
3 Ratchet Bomb
3 Mutagenic Growth
3 Tezzeret's Gambit
Right now the sideboard is pretty simple. Imps replace Vatmother for mirror match and in go Mutagenic Growth and Tezzeret's Gambit. Really looking forward to any feedback.
