Hello, I am new to magic and this is my first deck. I was wanting some feedback on it, and some suggestions. I want to be able to go play tournaments eventually. I do not have a side board yet. Please, let me know what you think. Thanks.
Thank you for your input. I have been working on this tempered steel deck now. It is at 69 cards and some suggestions would be very much appreciated as to what should be taken out. Thank you again.
You dont really have speed here or acceleration. This deck looks like its caught between trying to be tempered steel with shroud and puresteel with too little synergy.

I like to protect frightened things perhaps. I assembled them in the fortress of beefitude for safety.
I tried to add some more equipment, and tried to add more speed, by adding lowcost living equipment, i am not sure what to do with the sideboard, but i put those cards in there as a utility, for example, in case i need shroud: the archangel. Additionally, the etched champion and and phyrexian revoker seem to have use. Please comment, and tell me what you think, thank you for all of your help so far.
thats not bad, but most of the time you're trying to win by turn 4-5 so you have to ask yourself if thats going to happen or not with what you've got goin there.
I'd drop the accorders shield, and equip - swords or piston sledge maybe.

I think the right call would be to decide whether to go with the Paladin.dec or with Tempered Steel. Both decks are better at what they do than yours as a hybrid it is. If you want to stick to your plan at all cost, I´d suggest this:
But I won´t recomment the deck; I´m not sure you noticed, that your living equipment are black creatures. So there is no boost from Steel. With Only 12 artifact creatures (not counting Nexi), Steel isn´t all that impressive. If you want to power Steel, you´ll get to a traditional Steel deck eventually. The same is true for Puresteel Paladin...
Please don't feel discouraged if you notice the more changes you make to your deck, the more it starts to look like the decks that are already established. There are only so many cards to choose from, so the decks start to look alike after a while.
A few years back I was making decks for IPA-ODY standard and I was running this interesting Zombie Infestation deck that just didn't have a lot of staying power. I started looking for cards that were "better" and ended up with Psychatog. Turns out everyone else found that combo too.
The ability to cut cards that aren't working is one of the hardest deckbuilding skills to learn, but its very rewarding when you get the hang of it, even if it feels like all you did was re-create a meta deck. At least you know how your deck works inside and out, and why you made the choices you did.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
You are right i did not notice. Thank you for pointing that out. I can't seem to find the tempered steel.dec, or the paladin.dec. I am sure I just overlooked it. Additionally thank you again, and not to worry i am not getting discouraged, i enjoy the learning right now. It is helping me understand how to put a deck together as well as what cards i need to look for. I think another issue with my card choices, is the fact that i have not played that much. I am looking to rectify that. I have joined on that link what was sent to me the online thing. I hope that it will help me become a better player. If you wouldn't mind could you show me where to see a tempered steel.dec and a paladin.dec or post it on here. Thank you very much
Instead of using blade splicer. Why not use myrsmith?. Blade Splicer only gives you one 3/3 golem with first strike and if you loose the Blade Splicer you loose first strike don't you? If you were to put Myrsmith on the battle field you could have an enormous amount of artifacts, and when you would play tempered steel it would be a wave of 3/3 myrs that are easily replenished, due to the fact that the majority of the deck are artifacts. This is more of a question, i am posing a different argument so i can understand you choice better. Thank you.
