Me and my friends play a lot of block restricted and were wondering about changing in to singleton and block restricted.
We only play with 30 card decks, so it would be going from a 30/2 system to a 30/1 system. (30/2 meaning 30 card decks with max 2 of each card)
Do you guys think that is doable in a block restricted system, or will we all have the exact same decks because there are so few cards that there will be only one way to make a decK?
you could easily do this if you had at least a two set card pool like ISD and DKA.
I would look at possibly banning at least 1 card: Increasing Confusion. I know you are only playing about 11 lands or so but it seems like if this card ever comes up you would be able to mill out your opponent nearly instantly.
30 cards to start.
-8 Opening Hand + Draw
-7 (7 Turns)
-5 Cast for 6.
-10 Flashback
That's thier whole library.
I updated your title to better reflect your question.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
In summation.....Star Trek wins a prolonged naval battle against superior, yet less technologically advanced, numbers, with Picard leading the assault, while Kirk takes your soul by laying out Solo and probably his manservant Chewy as well, before impregnating and ditching your Princess.
We play with a rule that any time cards are removed from your library to anywhere you may reduce that number by 75%.
It really makes mill suck, which we like.
I was thinking more the problem would be that if I made a zendikar vampire deck and my opponent did as well, they'd be identical. Maybe all decks would be identical, which would be more boring.
Well you would have to play the format to see what was good. Vampires seems strong, but spirits might be as well.
