Now, let me be clear. I was here when the last Masters Edition set was fully spoiled - that same debacle won't be happening again. No personal attacks against the spoiler with be tolerated.
At first, I didn't realize the poster was making a personal attack and then I clicked on one of the links.
Mod, is there an easy way for me to fix this? When I copy and pasted the text in, I was pleasantly surprised to see them become hyperlinked and assumed it was an automated process. Sorry for my incompetence. I don't ever start threads and I don't post much either.
My apologies, I was just very excited to get this information out.
Thank you very much for the post, and also, for breaking the set down by rarity.
First impressions, I like the bump down to common for the vanilla legends. I am also really glad to see Gwnedlyn Di Corci. She's my favorite legandary Legend. I don't like seeing Sorrow's Path at Rare. No one is going to ever want to see that card crowd out there dual land. It'll be nice to see World Legends in action. Also, the Elder Dragons are a nice sight to see.
Edit: To be clear - I don't know he's telling the truth. But last time, well, last time there were people popping in just angry because they were spoiled. Calling fake is one thing - getting angry for spoiling is quite another.
Nice to see Gaea's Touch in there. Good card for any mono-green general in Commander. I also like Angus Mackenzie and Xira Arien, interesting new options for generals.

No, this is the spoiler.
Some good stuff, some classic stuff, some EDH stuff.
Seems fine.

oh my god.... mana drain... grim tutor... they really are going to bring vintage magic to modo eventually. I wish I had money to blow on this set, but I already blew all the money I could on modo... back BEFORE they were doing player rewards.:gonk::swear::crying::banghead:
Comments on some of the cards:
-AHHH all the horsemanship is going to make things interesting.
-Lots of good things at all rarities, I personally LOVE Sorrow's Path being in there as a rare. I don't play classic online, but I am going to certainly look into doing commander sometime soon. (Maybe when they get multiplayer working nicely again)

This card I swear is one of my favorite cards of all time. I wish they would make better Minotaurs though. I love that race. It works pretty well in multiplayer casual games with cool big changlings.
Is it just me or is Black Really really good in this set.
a little miffed that we didn't get Sol Ring this time around though. but seriously everything else is really above average (Drain, Tabernacle, Abyss, Bazaar)

I just want people who redraft to admit this:
"I can't draft objectively unless I am able to guarantee that I receive at least 3 rares. I am also better than most average/new players so I want to make sure that I get the best rares and they end up with worse ones. I care more about the monetary value of cards than actually playing the game for decent prizes."
wow, this set looks strong. LOTS of good stuff - 5 lands, Mana Drain, Reset, Nether Void, Abyss, plus the nostalgic favorite that is Gwendolyn di Corci.
No, this is the spoiler.

Yeah - an individual contacted me to verify it. Which admittedly gave me a little tingle of joy at the thought of someone contacting me about a set spoiler, but wanting to remain anonymous.
Wow, despite a lot of subpar cards by today's standards, this set seems tons of fun in limited. Horsemanship, Kobolds, Minotaurs, and a load of legends!
Weren't Giant Growth, Disenchant, and Scryb Sprites in previous Masters Editions though?
OMG. It's like Super Kamigawa with all the Legends and Asian subtheme with Portal The 3 Kingdoms. Gotta love Bazaar of Baghdad, Enemy Duals, Black Vice, etc....... too. The only problem with the common Legends is that you don't want to draft a lot of them and the legendary rule becomes a problem in draft and sealed. Otherwise I like this version of MED.

I'm really a fan of the common sorcery that costs R for 3 DMG, looks like I'll finally be able to have my 16 copies of lightning bolt afterall

after playing three drafts of ME3, I'm going to say it's just as bad in draft as ME2 was. That was the only beta where I quit playing. They do mix it up a bit with the new type beta packs, but it just seems to mean that my opponent gets skullclamp and I don't.
Are we sure Scryb Sprites is in MEIII? Usually they would duplicate ME cards with different art, like Giant Growth or Disenchant, but Scryb Sprites only had one art and it was previously in MEI.
Speaking of which, does the Beta show art? Which version of art are they using on Giant Growth and Disenchant?

yes scry sprites are in MEIII, unfortunately (although a 1/1 flying for G isnt that bad, especially since its off color). The giant growth is 5th edition art, and disenchant is the same art as the timeshifted version.

Do they bother balancing these things for limited? As far as I can tell after a quick skim the only common removal is Chain Lightning and... Spirit Shackles?
