i knew i was gonna get called on my 6 forest but like you must have thought i dont have any other fetchs available right now(i just moved so all my cards are lost in boxes) i plan on getting some more eventually beause i hate switching them form deck to deck. i can reach my other stomping grounds though, what numbers do you think is great? 2-3-4 ?
how many basic forest should i run?
12 mountains aint enough, i agree on that so how many should i play?
for the explore i dont like running this cards because more than half the time i have more than 2 mana to cast it and i dont like having some open mana and nothing to cast it on, i guess having 2 in hands could change this but again you need to be lucky enough to draw some lands. farseek is out of the question with my 6 forest lol
besides explore and farseek what are other alternative? with 7 fetchs like you suggest me could tireless tracker be a good choice? hes great with khalni heart but slow as a slime
i use mwonvuli main because there used to be a lot of tron deck in my meta and its a great card aginst them, i just didnt change the deck for a while...
i know that path isnt that much of a problem but sometimes it just prevents me from finishing the game and having a chalice on 1 is a ''free win'' against alot of decks so thats why i thought it could be a great addition.

Hey guys, what do you think about storm and adnauseam matchup?
Storm we can kill baral or electromancer.
We are a bye for Ad nauseum
unless you have chalice of the void in the side, ad nauseum cant play around this card if they didnt plan for it.
edit: beast within can destroys there lands and pentad prism so we can try to combo off before them, all in all its a bad MU
Another trick to remember is that if they are going the Phyrexian Unlife/Ad Nauseam route, if you can manage to store 4 Valakut triggers in a KHE or fetches or something, you can shoot all 4 at them once they go into negative life and do 12 Poison. That forces them to leave up an extra mana for an Angel's Grace. You can also Krosan Grip the Unlife and they lose on the spot. Unless you have Chalice, you can't interact with Angel's Grace which is a bummer.
A strategy against Ad Nauseam that I saw on a stream was being aggressive with Crumble to Dusts from the sideboard to limit their ability to hit the required mana to combo off and to cut down on the number of lands they have in their deck, which makes Lightning Storm a lot more inconsistent as a win.
I haven't tested it myself, but it seems like a good plan in theory.

Well, I can saw a woman in two, but you won't wanna look in the box when I'm through.
Hi, got to a local tournament yesterday, didn't go too well but, i'll share anyways
R1 vs. aura hexproof (0-2)
G1: really tough matchup, my lightning bolts are dead hand cards.
Out: 4 lightning bolt, 1 courser of kruphix
In: 2 anger of the gods, 2 nature's claim, 1 scapeshift
G2: i got 2 anger in my hand but turn 3 his kor spiritdancer went quickly out of range by turn 3 and GG
R2 vs. infect (0-2)
G1: i bolted his first elf, tried to anger his agent, he had open mana to apostle blessing, i went short of removal and topdeck
Out: 2 scapeshift , 2 summoner pact, 2 KHE, 1 courser,
In: 2 sudden, 2 anger, 2 nature claim, 1 fog
G2: mulled to 4, didn't draw any sides, GG
R3 vs. mono black devo (2-0)
G1: he kept a hand with GQ , got mana screwed,
Out: 2 scapeshift, 1 anger
In: 3 obstinate,
G2: he turn 3 sadistic sacrament my valakut, but i ramped to 11 lands fast enough and top decked a scapeshift GG
Infect really sucks for us even without gitaxian.
I'm having an event next weekend, any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Here's my metA:
Soul sisters
Naya burn
Bant drazi
Bogles
WB tokens
Mono black infect
Infect
Here's my current SB:
2 anger of the gods
1 ancient grudge
2 nature's claim
3 obstinate baloth
1 thrun, the last troll
2 ratchet bomb
2 sudden shock
2 fog
What is our matchup like against Eldrazi Tron? I feel like it's difficult with Thought-Knot Seer, 4 main deck ghost quarters and 2-4 Warping Wails. How do we play this matchup?

You're pretty favored in the MU, it's getting even better as tron is cutting down Warping Wails and they can't prevent you from ramping and killing them with land drops. TKS can only do so much in the MU, it's pretty bad for the Tron player (whatever tron flavor) to win against TitanShift. It's not unwinnable for them, but it should be pretty good for you.
I personally play both decks, and I played a lot of tron on MTGO and the 2 worst MUs are 1 Ad Nauseam and 2 Titan Shift / Breach Titan.

Thanks you so much! I have another question. I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. It's been a while since I've played this deck and I've forgotten a lot. If I have 3 mountains, 2 shocks, and a forest on the field and play a Primetime to fetch up a Valakut and mountain. Would I get any triggers off the valakut?

Yes, 1 trigger. It works the same way like when you Scapeshift. Lands come into play at the same time and check for the condition and, since it's met, it triggers.

I'm planning on playing Titanshift in a team unified modern GP this year, and was wondering if anyone had any sidebord ideas for team. Given the fact that I may not have access to my ideal sideboard list. My teammates are playing Bant Eldrazi and Elves at the moment, although that may change over the course of the next few months.
With Bant Eldrazi being on my team, straight away I don't have access to Grafdigger's cage, EE, or spellskite. Cage can be replaced with a Tormod's Crypt or Relic of Progenitus, so that shouldn't be a problem. Thankfully I still have access to Chalice. I was thinking that cards like Beast within might come in handy to deal with the things that EE normally takes care of for you.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be more than happy to read them.
Thanks!
Three green decks is not where i would like to start for a team unified GP... not really constructive criticism, but someone should consider playing a non green deck
I recently moved over to Titanshift as my competitive setting deck, and I'm hoping you can help me with two issues:
1. Burn match up - Seems awful for the deck. MB Anger of the Gods seems too slow, and Bolts are blanked by Atarka's Command. I got desperate enough to board in Nature's Claims to hit my own Coursers? Am I playing badly, or is that just a rough match up overall?
2. Sacred Foundry - Right now two of the best sideboard cards to have access to are Stony Silence and Rest in Peace. I've seen the Through the Breach Scapeshift deck is including 1 MB Sacred Foundry, and using those cards in their sideboard. Do you think this is viable for Titanshift?
Hi guys, I'm not sure if it has been thoroughly discussed, so if someone can link me where the discussion took place that would be helpful, but if not, I can use the insight. I took Titanshift to a Top 4 finish this past weekend at a GPT. I got knocked out by Jund Death's Shadow. Just wondering what is everyone's approach to this matchup?
I play 2 EE main deck (take the place of the Anger) and 2 Chalice in the side + 2 Relics.
Also Side in Baloths and Thragtusks vs Death's Shadow, lifegain and blockers are greats.
- 3 KHE - 2 Scapeshift (you just don’t want to saturate your hand with win conditions.) - 2 Fareseek - 2 Explore
+ 3 obstinate baloth (LotV + Tseize !) + 2 thragtusk + 2 Chalice + 2 Relics
Hmmm. I could see us using the cycle effect if we didn't have a valakut and needed to find a win con. Maybe 1 of? I am a little on the fence with this one.

1. Don't play Valakut until you can fetch them with Titan or win off Shift. Either that or play both Valakut out by turn 2 so you don't get blown out.
2. Personally, I'll keep that hand. This deck topdecks like a dream
