Reports like this don't really speak for the decks themselves. Jund and Infect were the only Tier 1 decks that made it into the Top 8, even though most of the Tier 1 decks had a strong presence there. The fact that a deck like Faeries made it into the Top 8, speaks much more about the strength of the players themselves than the decks they played.
How vital is the singleton (or sometimes 2 ofs) Arid Mesa? I already broke the bank with Tarns so I am wondering if the Mesa is really a necessity. I play 9 fetches in Jund and it sometimes feel execessive.
My list run 8 fetch (24 lands) and is ok.

First version of the new primer is up! In the end I did go with "Jeskai Harbinger", when proofreading it just felt wayyy better, even though I originally voted for "Jeskai Nahiri" myself. Considering the votes were incredibly close, I think that should be alright.
I haven't written the sideboard and matchup stuff yet, and would like to hear some inputs on that from you guys

4 Tarns and 4 Strands is fine. When I ran my list in Charlotte, I ran 3 Strands, 1 Mesa, 4 Tarns. So you really only need 8 fetches. Some lists run 9. Even with 8, Mesa is kinda nice, but not at all necessary. Just don't run Polluted Delta if you want to be truly competitive.
I'm going against my own advice though. I currently don't own Scalding Tarn, nor do I want to buy any; therefore, I'm running 4 Strands, 1 Mesa, and 3 Polluted Delta. I'll just borrow them for big events.

They don't even need to be reprinted in Standard. Getting printed anywhere would be great. Could you imagine something like, "From the Vault: Fetchlands"?
Seriously though, it would reduce the entry price of the deck significantly.
Just as a sidenote, if you're playing in a big event and want to run Tarns, I highly suggest renting them from [insert company name you can find on Google here]. I don't want it to seem like I'm unfairly endorsing someone's business or anything, so I'll leave the name out.
Thanks everyone! Buying Tarns is my biggest apprehension getting into URx, I am only getting it cheap (around 55 ea) from a fried that is why I'm biting the bullet. I refrain from buying Zen fetches to minimize my losses when it gets reprinted which we all know is only a matter of time. Thanks again and hoping this deck is here to stay!

Could I suggest showing Emrakul in the core cards? Her combination of shuffling self back in, a powerful trigger that only needs to swing not connect, and protection from a wide range of spells makes her uniquely synergistic.
