I'm still not convinced that straight UR is where we want to be right now. Goyf is pretty damn good against Delver decks as it is a must answer threat and can race Delver. Huntmaster also seems pretty great right now. With all the serum visions and probes everywhere you can probably flip him whenever to gain life or ping creatures/faces.
Blood Moon seems to be really bad in a meta full of Delver and Burn, but if you run into the odd Control deck I guess it's fine.
Green just brings so many great options in the SB (Thrun, Scooze, Feed the Clan, Ancient Grudge, etc.)
The flip side is you're going to take a bit more damage from your mana. With straight UR though, I feel like Pod is going to be pretty bad. Typically we move into the control role against Pod in game 2, since the odds of us comboing are tough. Goyfs and Huntmaster and Scooze help us play the fair game against Pod.
One of our posters a couple pages back posted a vid of him playing against Junk where he brought in Inferno Titans. With how many Siege Rhinos there are going to be running around, I think Titan is a pretty neat and unexpected idea.
All that being said, Patrick is one of the best Twin players in the world so I am sure he knows what he is doing and will be successful with the list.
Because dig through time is just a ridiculous card thats why. Goyfs good but you want to be digging when your opponents crusing more often than having a goyf that your opponents can ignore.

Right but Dig Through Time and Goyf are not mutually exclusive. If you need to Dig, Dig. Your Goyf will get big again before you know it with all the fetches and Probes running around. If you have some Goyfs out with a DTT in hand, you now have options. Are your Goyfs better as they are, or do you want to dig up the combo, shrink the Goyfs, and then win?
I currently run 2 Digs in my RUG list and it has been fine. I will likely bump it to 3.
I see your point goyf just makes jamming too many digs in rug twin pretty hard for me though In any case when boarding against delver I am pretty sure all the remands and cryptics come out? Just too clunky for the matchup and in comes batter skull cheap counter magic that isn't remand and cheap sweepers
What about obstinate baloth and thrun?

I have Thrun in the SB since he just hoses some decks. I am going to run a MB Batterskull I think. That, combined with a MB Huntmaster and an SB Feed the Clan, Scooze, and another Huntmaster should be enough for life gain.
I think I might try one Inferno Titan in the SB. Wrecks Pod and laughs at Siege Rhino.
I would actually drop either a Probe or a Flame Slash, possibly an Izzet Charm. Whichever you find the least useful. I think Batterskull in the main should be pretty fun.
Also if you do try the Inferno Titan, it wasn't my idea, but I think it would be hysterical to drop against Pod after they Siege Rhino.
Imagine dropping twin on inferno titan. You'd get the ETB damage every turn, then the 3 burn for attacking with haste. 6 points burn plus whatever combat damage every turn. Gross.

I find all of them useful. The thing about my version my right is how low to the ground i like it I don't like going to big because I find that's good vs delver. You start playing lots of 4 and 5 drops twins and dig it's incredibly clunky at times. However I do like going over the top vs pod or bg(x) but I think I am ok with dig can doimtg a decent job of that.
Titan is absurd though. No one will expect it.

I came up with Titan a few pages back and I've been really pleased with it. By the time you've attacked the next turn, you've dealt 12 damage + anything you can firebreathe for, so it usually ends the game in a single attack. It gets past Etched Champion, laughs at Dismember, gets value from Vapor Snag, etc. I do find that you need to have one or two more lands in the deck to really feel comfortable with it. So much better than junk like Keranos, though.

Keranos is played for his ability to provide robust inevitability, not necesarily a quick kill and board stabilization. And thats why he is so insane in the grindy matchups.
Anyone thought of caldera hellion as an anti aggro card. Some spicy tech
Also, is the 8th cheap removal spell or the 8th cheap counter spell better?
I was an early adopter of Keranos and I can say that in my experience he is the nuts in any attrition-based matchup. BGx decks typically just fold to him as many decks have ZERO answers once he is resolved. I like Inferno Titan as well, and you can watch a video series by LSV over at ChannelFireball which uses him in a UR Twin list out of the board. I will say that I think Titan is better out of the board for Scapeshift decks where players are likely siding out removal. Against Twin, most decks max out their creature removal, so you may find Titan eating a Slaughter Pact or a Path to Exile more often than you would like. Still, he is a giant beater that finishes the game in (likely) one swing, so I'm a fan.

If you want it for BGx, couldn't Honden of Seeing Winds be just better? Bolt's don't really kill their creatures.
So I was just wondering what the established list for this deck is now in UR. I recently sold my goyfs after playing RUG twin almost all of last season. Now I'm looking into UR because of DTT and was just kind of curious as to where the deck currently is.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is no reason being friendly and being competitive can't be synonymous.
With GP Milan on the door step, this is where I am at right now. Obviously playing Twin again but did some slight adjustments to attack the metagame in a better way.
So green+grudge into white+wear/tear seem like the biggest change but trimming 3 combo pieces for a Thought Scour a MB Batterskull and an Electrolyze really takes us off the combo plan hard. What's the plan vs. Burn? cheap counters and batterskull to close out?
