You can try out tidehollow scullers, some matchups they are great, some not so much.

but it often makes them waste an extra removal spell.

If you're not playing voice you can look at some of the pre-dgm decks.

You'll want to keep metamorph+lark in for another combo redundancy

I play voice, Lark, and Metamorph.

So I have most of this deck sitting in my binder. I have the lands, shamans, chords, etc.

The stuff I'm missing includes:
Thoughtseize
VoR
Linvala
Fulminator Mage

If I build this it will be my 4th modern deck, so not one I want to track down $25-60 cards for.

Is it playable without the above? I'm thinking IoK/Duress for Thoughtseize, an extra Scavenging Ooze over 1 VoR, but I'm not sure about the rest.

Thoughts?

There was a 4-0 Melira deck on MTGO for a long time after Voice that didn't run any VOR. It doubled down on the combo pieces, running 3 Murderous Redcaps and 3+ Meliras. I think the goal was to increase the chance of naturally drawing the combination. A cursory search did not reveal it, but if you wanted the list, it's out there to find.

The above is playable, but stick your oozes and IoK in the sideboard.
