I personally will be playing Delver first. Either Grixis or Temur or Jeskai.
This was what I was referring to, since you focused a lot of that post on Delver. Those two sentences literally mean "I will be playing Temur, Grixis or Jeskai Delver." I responded thusly.
And besides, I wasn't the one who overreacted. My tone may have been a bit flippant, and I apologize if that's the case, but I've put in the time and seen the results to know that Jeskai Delver has done jack ***** in the meta for the past year or more. You were the one who responded by attacking and insulting me, so **** off with this condescending "respect in respect out" bull***** and start practicing what you preach.

Fine, we're both at fault.
You still seem to have a harder time laying off on the language and "flippant" demeanor.
The point is, saying "hey bro, deck is bad. Play something else instead" is pretty disrespectful in the first place, especially when we are all trying to figure out where to go next. Not only that, but do you really know that Jeskai Delver is going to be "bad" going forward? Is the time and effort you put in actually from testing, or just spelunking the internetzes? It's not like straight U/R Delver has been off the charts either lately. Maybe has a few more notable placings, but that's about it.
If you have some information about recent testing experience or something else about Jeskai Delver, then please share it. Don't just write it off without an explanation though.
If tempers flared and you feel I started it, then I apologize as well. I just really dislike it when people make such blanket and unhelpful statements like that. I'm a grown man, I can assess what is good and bad for my own tastes.

I will not censor my language while you're insulting me to my face. I give no ****s about whether you like it or not at that point.

By this logic, any deck will be good going forward, which I don't think is true.
However, the way I know is the same way I know that (to use an exaggerated example) the Blistercoil Weird Storm deck is bad: its lack of results despite people playing it.
s the time and effort you put in actually from testing, or just spelunking the internetzes? It's not like straight U/R Delver has been off the charts either lately. Maybe has a few more notable placings, but that's about it.
Yes, I've played Jeskai Delver. I tried it out when TC was legal and hated it and I tried it after the ban and it was even worse. I forced myself to play it for a few weeks and despised the deck the entire time, even though I was super stoked to play going into it.
It lacks the speed of UR Delver and the raw power of Grixis Delver. Many of its spells are clunky and the favorite card people like to jam into it (Geist) is a tap out play in a deck that wants to stick something turn 1 or 2 and then hold up mana. Path and Mana Leak are inherent nonbos that counteract the point of Delver: Keep them off of resources while beating down. The more lands you give them, the harder that is to do. TBH the Jeskai midrange decks are far better at doing what they do than Jeskai Delver.
The only Jeskai Delver list that's even close to good right now is the UR list splashing for Lightning Helix, which isn't a true Jeskai deck and more of a URw deck.
If tempers flared and you feel I started it, then I apologize as well. I just really dislike it when people make such blanket and unhelpful statements like that. I'm a grown man, I can assess what is good and bad for my own tastes.
It's all good man. I didn't mean to sound condescending or dismissive in my original post; I just figured I'd throw it out there considering I have experience with the deck.
I'm really sad that Twin got the hammer. I will be switching to UR Delver, as i don't have to buy many cards to get that deck going and i don't have to worry about bannings with that deck. I wish you all the best and hope to see you guys around!
I'm bringing in 3 Kiki-Jiki and 3 Jace and going a little more on the control plan. Leak instead of Remand, 3 Terminate and 2 Cryptic. Also adding 3 Wandering Fumarole to the manabase.
From my year-ish of playing control, I think grixis aggro-cntrl/midrange is more of a deck that plays the meta game once it stabilizes. I refuse to buy into Eldrazi. I feel like Temple will get banned next time around, and if I buy into it from that to happen I will sell my cards and invest in a record breaking sized sign that reads "F U WotC" lol.
I have a DnT/Hatebears deck I also tune, so I might go there for now.
I know most people are thinking delver, but I might go into a U/R prowess-tempo shell with main deck moons (in testing, delver felt inconsistent, so I selected goblin guide instead). I feel like fast aggro and main deck land hate will be important against big mana decks, counters will be necessary versus burn, and a clean mana base will go a long way. However, I also feel like decks need a big body right now, so idk if a black splash just for 2 Tas, 2 Kom, 2 Terminate would be needed. Anyway, this isn't the place for all that, but wanted to share a list for anyone making a shift and unsure where to start.
It's been a good run, but with the B&R update now in effect, we are locking this thread down. If you want to continue the banlist discussion, please do so in the banlist thread. If you want to discuss future versions of URx Combo Control, you'll need to either create a new thread or look around the forums for exiting replacement threads.

Personally I feel U/R delver got a really nice toy with stormchaser mage, but it feels a bit inconsistent as you say (maybe I'm wrong).
Grixis control feels very consistent, but has a weak burn and tron matchup, I guess heavy sideboard plans for those MUs might help.
We are going to have to adapt and try new stuff, just wish for the best for all of you and I hope I'll keep seeing you around other threads!!
