Yes, there will be times when you won't be able to proc revolt, that's why I think it could be good maybe as 2-off
Keep in mind that Greenbelt Rampager isn't just a 3 mana 3/4. It's 3 mana spread over a flexible number of turns, so you can very easily get him as a 3/4 on turn 2. While Greenwheel Liberator can (in the right circumstances) get E1 to a 4/4, it requires you to already have a 3/3 E1 :and: have Revolt active. Rampager can take a 1/1 E1 up to 4/4 all by himself so long as you have 3 mana open. That's very low overhead, and the sort of consistency that this deck thrives on.

Vengevine with greenbelt rampager? Probably not. Or talara's battalion? I thinik we should just give up on the elephant and the revolt elf. What we need is a Hexproof dude that can evolve E1. A hexproof leatherback that was normally a 3/4 and got a +1/+1 on revolt would have been great with Fatal Push around. Even 1GG would be acceptable for such a deal.

Most exciting cards I have seen in a while. Hope we get even more. Even if they don't work out, I am glad to start trying these cards out. Kessig Prowler the last addition was sort of an easy but unwanted sell. We knew this deck needed another 1 drop and Kessig Prowler was just barely decent enough to pass the cut. This time, we have these interesting cards that we aren't sure will pass the cut but show more potential.

Yeah, I think it's time to do some testing, with both cards, and see how they perform in practice. Only then we'll know how good are their strengths or how bad are their weaknesses, and see if they are worth it or not

Do you really think Kessig Prowler is decent enough? I've tried it and I think its pretty underwhelming personally. Young Wolf is easily the third best one drop for this deck atm. I know some players a few pages back weren't impressed by the Young Wolf version based on their FNM experiences, but I've been playing it on MTGO for a long time and based on its performance against the $1500+ meta decks there I will continue to stand by it.

It is. That is how much we needed a viable 1 drop. It is good enough to be played as a 2 of. Young Wolf is bad, please stop. We are not going back there.

Its basically 2 creatures for one, it blocks for free and it makes bigger avatars more consistent. It also occasionally evolves E1, even if it already has Rancor. Kessig Prowler is a vanilla 2/1 most of the time and when it flips it makes aspect weaker. Explain to me why it is "good enough" and Young Wolf is bad. Please.
It doesn't evolve E1 occasionally. If it does, your opponents are doing something wrong. Kessig Prowler is a 2/1 that can evolve based on how you played. Young Wolf cannot evolve unless it actually dies which is up to your opponent at most of the time. Your opponents are bad if they are actually killing Young Wolf into it. There are ways to make enticing but if anyone is familiar with how the deck works, it's just way easier to play around. Basically one card banks on your own play and the other card is based on your opponent sucking. Sorry I prefer to be able to do things rather than play people who are just fundamentally bad at the game. Based on your screen shots I wouldn't judge your opponents too highly either. If you ever read my posts here on this thread, I am more in favor of ways to play to your best rather than limiting yourself. A lot of people disagree but hey, you aren't the first.
I did some testing with the young wolf plan but the results were not as good as the more stock lists. New to here but been reading through a lot of this thread. I am really interested in trying Collected Stompany once i get my hands on them.
Please take no offense to my earlier comments. If you can prove to me Young Wolf is the real deal; the more power to ya. I am still not convinced and until someone can provide me an explanation that doesn't involve both this deck and it's opponent playing sub optimally, then I'm all ears.
There was a request to share my foiled out stompy deck, so here it is! http://imgur.com/a/6KpLY I highly suggest foiling it out if you can it is really pretty.
I don't disagree with the notion of playing your best rather than limiting yourself, to be clear. My main goal here is to open people up to the idea that there might very well be a more consistent approach to this deck that is a good deal different from the lists we typically see in this thread. I don't take offense and I'm glad we can use this place for healthy debate, as was intended. There are two important points that I want to make first:
From what I gather, you are a proponent of 10 one drops in conjunction with some number of Leatherback Baloths. I have forgone 3 drops altogether for a list running 19 lands and 12 one drops, replacing Baloth with a playset of Young Wolf. I think this makes the deck stronger in a big way in that you will a) almost always have a turn one creature to play (this deck can't afford to durdle on turn one, especially when the rest of modern is almost always doing something on turn one) and b) Rancor is easier to set up for fast damage without the risk of getting 2-for-oned.
EDIT: Obviously you're aware of the need to do something turn one, hence the playing of 10 one drops instead of 8, but bumping that up to 12 further plays into this and gives us a better chance of having more options on turn 2, with the combination of Treetops and spells.
I play almost strictly on MTGO now, where you're liable to encounter pretty much anything in a 2-man queue. Such an environment is obviously much different from an LGS FNM, so results will vary. That being said I think its safe to say that I've gotten to play against many more archetypes with this deck on MTGO than one would have at a LGS.
Now that that's out of the way I want to address your argument that Young Wolf will only get the Undying trigger if the opponent is bad, or playing sub optimally. If you had played with it against the likes of Bushwacker Zoo, Naya Burn, Dredge etc then you would know that there are many instances in which your opponent simply has no choice but to attack into Young Wolf if they want to advance their game plan of killing you quickly. Sitting back on cards like Bloodghast, Goblin Guide and Wild Nacatl isn't usually good. Plenty of times Young Wolf has got in the way of an early Goblin Guide, or has been a top deck against a burn/ aggro deck. It is also more resilient against Liliana of the Veil, which is problematic for this deck. You say that Young Wolf is easy to play around, but even in the instance that the opponent can afford to play around it and chooses to then I would say it is doing work by altering their game plan. This is especially true if it is hindering their attacks.
Perhaps I have had more success on the Young Wolf game plan because it is more reliable, and not simply because my opponents are playing poorly? If it is due to the latter, than I guess I am just very lucky with who I play against online.
Some advice to you for when you try it out: Under most circumstances, Treetop Village is best played turn 2, along with another one drop. Rancor really shines on turns like these by letting you swing for at least 3, with the best target for it almost always being Young Wolf. Looking forward to hearing about how you do.

I've always thought Young Wolf is not good enough for modern, but I will give this a try this time. As I'll be playing on MTGO, I'd like to see your sideboard too. Also, if you can, please use the "deck" format to the right of the "card" icon which you use to give link to cards, it's easier to follow that way.
edit: I'll run 3Dismembers and 2Scavenging Oozes instead of 2 and 3, I fell safer with more removal.
