As you can see Green infect has overall better matchups at least imo , but in the right metagame i think the monoblack version is better.
In any case BG is gonna be your doom, im trying to find a deck that has good matchup vs BG that I like.
Btw I saw a comment on the viridian corrupter I ran, it´s not to avoid chalice, is just that affinity is such hard matchup, and one of the problems with siding is that i want to get in so much hate but i need to remove stuff, adding the viridan corrupter allows me to add more artifact hate without reducing the creature number. Btw I´m considering adding spellkite to the main or the sb.
Like Waterd, I've had insane success with mono-G infect on MTGO. I've NEVER lost a ticket playing in 8-man and 2-man (my schedule doesn't work with any dailies). I've split 2 8-mans so far and made my money back once. I'm also about 6-0 in 2-mans. I don't play Livewire Lash or Wild Defiance, though. Instead, I play Waterd's deck with -2 Wild Defiance/Lash and -1 Groundswell and +3 Giant Growth. I feel like it's a good call against Lightning Bolt/Helix, and it often has its advantages both over Might of Old Krosa and Groundswell.
I am often unsteady with my sideboarding decisions, usually taking out a few pump or go down in Apostle's Blessing, and I think I only use 11 of my cards (3 Ranger's Guile, 4 Dismember, and 4 Nature's Claim). My only loss in a ticketed event was to Pod, which I went 1-2. In both of my losses, I had at least 14 outs in the draw phase that counted, and didn't hit them (either Might, Growth, Groundswell, or Rancor). I didn't feel too bad about that loss except that maybe I brought in too much (4 Claim, 4 Dismember).
I'm giving a try to this infect deck..what colours would you suggest me to play? ug, bug or bg? Also is noble hierarch a must?
Alot of people don't run the Hierarch, i know for me she is the first card i select when rebuilding infect, a dork with the exalted is a win win.
BUG gives you access to Glistener, Agent and Stinger, along with 4 Inkmoths you have upto 16 infectors.
I've never run a BG or UG version my other version is GUW which may not be that flash but it surely is different and it's a constant work, but it holds it's own well enough.
Guys, what are you siding out vs Tier decks?
I play monogreen version with 3 Gitaxian Probe and 4 Rancor now and they are first candidates to sideout (Rancor - not vs creature decks and Probe - not vs removal decks), then goes 1 or 2 Groundswell Is it right?
Its nice to see that Infect is doing so well online @Waterd, I was about to give up on it but I guess I'm gonna try the mono green version. My meta has almost no BG decks, but is filled with Twin, UWR, Pod, Affinity and has some decent number of burn. I see you decided to run the full 4 of Spellskites in the Sideboard, I always liked those. May I ask you how you won your <semifinal Match against Melira Pod? Any tips and tricks? As I've said, I have yet to play with the Mono Green Version, but it seems like a very hard matchup.

I didn't see any spellskites from Waterd's mono-green or mono-black infect deck, which deck are you referring to Lawn?
I think the ratio of Necropedes:Blight Mambas could go even further to the latter. I've been hurt more times by Nature's Claim etc. from the side than I've been helped by placing a -1/-1 counter with Necropede. Its advantage, though, is to play it off a turn 1 Cathedral, turn 2 Inkmoth Nexus and have two options through removal on turn 3.
Great: soul sisters, Merfolk
Good: UWR control, Delver, Twin, GW hatebears/death and taxes
Decent: Affinity, Storm
Bad: Meliria pod, Scapeshift, hexproof, Burn
Terrible: BG, Tron

Waterd has made the top 8 of a couple more premier events since then with this list:
http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Digital/MagicOnlineTourn.aspx?x=mtg/digital/magiconline/tourn/7051765
12 Forest
4 Inkmoth Nexus
2 Pendelhaven
1 Blight Mamba
4 Glistener Elf
4 Ichorclaw Myr
3 Necropede
2 Dismember
4 Groundswell
4 Might of Old Krosa
4 Mutagenic Growth
4 Rancor
4 Vines of Vastwood
2 Dismember
4 Nature's Claim
4 Spellskite
4 Tormod's Crypt
1 Viridian Corrupter
Along with Spellskite in the side, I notice 1 Blight Mamba replacing a Necropede. Also 2 Dismember main to help against Melira and main deck Spellskites.
Oh,ok. I haven't seem this one
Try to get 4 Vines of Vastwood before the tournament and put them in instead of Plague Myr, that will make a big difference
