The deck is perfection. Nothing needs to be added, nothing needs to be changed. It can beat Combo, Control, and Aggro. It can add some sideboard cards like Elspeth Tirel to destroy those pesky lanterns. But that's what Detention Sphere does as well. Perhaps 3 in the side to replace Dismember if needed?
Went 3-1-1 at a GPT, Eldrazi isn't my cup of tea, but I'm between decks at the moment. Beat Abzan Coco, beat Naya Kiki-Chord, beat GR Through the Breach/Valakut, lost to Storm. ID with Jund, placed 4th in the top 8. Lost to Breach, had awful hands and misplayed, cost me game 1.
Everyone is trying to beat this deck. Which is kind of funny it's not in Teir 1 with less than 1 page of discussion.
That's because there hasn't been a restructuring of the tiers since the last PT when UR Eldrazi and Colourless Eldrazi were the decks to beat. UW came up on the SCG circut about 1 week after I believe.
As for the amount of discussion, people are expecting the decks to disappear in a few weeks and don't want to brew it. All of the results to date have already optimized it, and there are a near 0 amount of tournament reports because it's like the 4-5th iteration of Eldrazi decks and people don't want to keep updating their decks. Couple that with 95% of MTGS having their pet decks that they play and you are ending up with a discussion topic no one really wants to talk about.
That all may be true Torpf, but I've still been underwhelmed. And there's something that doesn't quite feel right about it considering the environment seems to have so much Eldrazi in it right now. I've also been brewing the deck pretty aggressively, but again, that may just be me. Finally, and acknowledging the fact that banlist discussion is verboten, Forsythe has stated they don't want to kill Eldrazi as a deck so some form if it will continue and thus some discussion of it too. So, with all that, a couple of points:
1) Thanks for creating this forum in the first place. As I've already said, I am disappointed that there hasn't been more discussion, but you can't force the horse to drink and all that.
2) My current Eldrazi list is below. It took my a while to get the mana right, but I seem to have hit a groove now and have gone 7-1 in my last two tournaments (Thursday/Friday). Before that I had some trouble and often lost to my own mana development (and possibly poor mulligan decisions.) I've had two losses to Coco Elves in the last two weeks and one to Death and Taxes where my oppo pulled a dirty stunt on an Obligator trigger (I paid the cost but didn't announce the trigger until the card was on the table, which is fair enough at a GP, but this was FNM! Anyhow, I let it go instead of calling a judge and lost the match. I'm not butt sore about it, but the loss wasn't the deck's fault.) The Losses to coco elves were very close. In the first match, I had him dead on board the ext turn and he had no cards in hand but managed to topdeck the win...Coco and then Chord...variance is a thing.
3) My deck is 4C Eldrazi, but it's built on the UW shell, so I think this is the right place for it.
As you can see, it's a little less explosive than the traditional versions without the Endless Ones, but it still has some very degenerate starts and is more resilient in a field full of mirrors and hate.
I'll post some thoughts on the board later if anyone wants me to.

Some people like to win MtG matches in the Red Zone. I prefer to win the way God intended: on the stack.
UW Eldrazi is dead without Eye of Ugin, and there was never any discussion here to begin with. If in the future someone wants to re-open the topic with an Eldrazi Temple only version and stumbles upon this thread then go for it.

- Activate Displacers ability for C and blink the Drowner of Hope.
- Drowner of Hope enters the battlefield and you get 2 scions
- Sacrifice a scion for C to use Displacers ability targeting Drowner of Hope again.
This is the loop. At the end of it you are left with infinite 1/1 eldrazi scions that also act as infinite colourless mana.

I saw the first list and I didn't see the Training Grounds (that is the reason that I don't get it).
Again, thanks.
