I think fetching for a Plains is more important than fetching for a Swamp, so I prefer any Wx Fetchland over Bloodstained Mire. I play with Windbrisk Heights, because I do not own Arid Mesa. I like the split between Sacred Foundry and Blood Crypt for your reasons mentioned, think I will try this in my list (currently playing with 2 Foundry).
Hide is not a good mainboard card, would not even play it in sideboard because of the colors. I still think Disenchant is the best way to deal with artifacts and entchantments in one card, 1W is just easy to assemble. Seek is interesting cause you can take away random one of's.
I absolutely agree on the wanting the Arid Mesa. As I said, I just don't have them, and do have copies of Bloodstained Mire. If I find I prefer this over basic BW, I'll invest in picking up 3.
Agreed that Hide is not a MB card, nor is it as good regular Disenchant effects, and if it was just that half of Hide // Seek, I would not use it. Seek is why it's MB-able, IMO. So if I were to replace H/S with a more regular Disenchant effect (previously was using Sundering Growth but after thinking about it, I don't think the upside is worth it), what would you pull from the SB to make room for a regular Disenchant effect?
I had missed the value of Crackling Doom vs Hexproof-heavy decks. I was originally shying away from it as just regular removal as I want to be able to choose who I target (hence choosing Terminate over it), but if I were to take Hide // Seek out of my 75, I could slot in 2 copies of Crackling Doom.
I hate to detract away from the topic at hand, but how many Timely Reinforcements should I be running in the main and side? I'll post what I am currently running and what I am looking to upgrade to in the near future when I get the chance, but I'll be busy for a while.

Its pretty meta dependent. I like a 2:2 split between the main deck and sideboard for an unknown meta. If you expect more Burn and Zoo 3:1 might be right. Keep in mind that the tokens don't have flying. I often wind up casting it as just a life gain spell against Burn lists to force them to use Atarka's Command as a Skullcrack rather than a pump spell.

I tried a 2/2 split last night, and it felt right. It can be pretty much a dead card (like last night vs the 2 combo matchups RG Tron & Restore Balance), and a good card even when not vs Burn or fast creature decks (like my other 2 matchups last night, Jund & Abzan Aggro).

I would probably cut the Aven Mindcensor, cause they don't fit the playstyle without creatures and against combo you have Slaughter Games. In which matchups do you board them in?
With Timely Reinforcements I was not happy in the last time, because of Raise the Alarm. Often it is me who has more creatures than the opponent and 3 mana to gain six live is not the best move. Currently playing 2 in the sideboard, but eventually cutting them for Burrenton Forge-tender.
I have to echo this sentiment about Timely. I'm running 1 MB and 0 SB. I don't like it. It's fine, in some matches because it's got some utility, but overall, more than 1-2 seems over the top. Kor Firewalker, Burrenton-Forge Tender, and Auriok Champion are the cards you want to be seeing in aggressive matchups/burn.

I honestly, just don't find it to be that problematic of a matchup, and so I'm considering cutting down to 1 kataki. I've know it's "the card" against affinity, but I haven't had it do much good for me overall. Take into consideration that I've won a lot of g2/3 where I just don't see it, and that I recognize how strong the effect can be.
I would never board Hour of Reckoning in against Affinity. It's just too slow and the matchup is already good enough. Rather than Kataki, you should run Stony Silence for its relevance against Tron and Ad Nauseam. I would cut Zealous Persecution unless you're expecting a lot of Infect and the mirror in addition to just Affinity. You honestly could beat Affinity without sideboarding a single card.

One of these day I have to get myself organizized.
I agree with you. I'm really questioning the need for Affinity specific hate, and wanted to replace those 2 Kataki with something more relevant. I guess Stony Works, for sure. I'm bringing in Zealous as pseudo-sweeper and make combat favourable for me. I've been a big fan of Zealous, but how many copies would you be suggest?
Hour is really specific to Etched Champion, given as that seems to be the only thing that I lose to in Affinity.

My only problem with Affinity is dealing with Etched Champion. Because I pretty much can't. Other than that issue, I've never felt like I needed a whole lot of specific to Affinity cards.

Yeah, I'm at the same point. I have an hour of reckoning in there for Etched Champion. And it helps in the Merfolk matchup.

Hey guys, I'll try this again since the last time I posted I didn't get anyone to respond to me lol
This is the list I'm hoping to take to SNM tomorrow. Sideboard is still in the works as usual. There are SO many options right now I can't make up my mind.
I had 2 Liliana mainboard, but due to my meta she never helped me. My meta is filled with quite a lot of aggro, and when she resolved it would usually be sac a creature of unimportance then she gets killed anyways, So i took her out of the 75 for now.
I cut the land to 23 due to me decreasing my curve a little with the new additions of Raise the Alarm. So far during testing It hasn't been too noticeable.
Switched the IOK and TS to 4/3 and I like the switch, lifeloss is always relevant before we see Sorin.
I may cut the Ghost Quarter down to 1 main instead of 2. Due to me dropping my land count I don't want to be color screwed when I want to cast Spectral Procession on curve.
As people may notice my Windbrisk heights is 1 of for now. Since my addition of Raise mainboard that may change, but there were hardly ANY game that I played competitively that a card exiled helped me win the game. I could never keep 3 creatures and when I did there was never the open mana to use it.
However I will playtest and see if that changes. I have 4 available when/If I decide to throw them back in.
I never see Fullimator Mage when I playtest against my buddies Tron decks. So they are starting to lose their appeal to me since I took out my surgical extraction. I may cut those for possibly some Oblivion Ring, Hero's Downfall, more Z.P, or even Hero of Bladehold since I have been missing her for quite some time.
So what do you guys think? I want some opinions before I go to Modern tomorrow please I went 4-0 last time I was there and I would like to end on another high note lol
Also, has no one mentioned Hangerback Walker yet? I love the way he blows out games sometimes and was just wondering if some people may think it's a good card to think about adding in the 75. Our Thopters could have vigilance
I feel like the list looks good. I agree with cutting GQ for another coloured mana source. I think I'd want 1-2 more spot removal spells main. Shaving 1 Raise or 1 BB, but not both.

Ok cool thanks for the response. I do like the 3 bb but the problem with cutting a raise is my tron match up gets that much worse lol but I suppose it helps pretty much all my other match ups though. My meta is pretty aggro filled. Multiple affinity, burn and zoo, tron. There is also a splash of living end, dredgvine, and chord/company strategies.
Also just re updated it. The list was a little out of whack for some reason but it's good now. Everything is up to date. Testing 2 shambling vents.
Yeah. I really don't know if 5 removal spells is enough for a really have aggro meta. I'm not sure what to do against Tron, and so I'll take your advice on it. As far as lands go, I think I like Vents, but 5 CIPT lands is too much. Maybe in a slower meta? But a lot of aggro/tron I think it hurts you too much. I wouldn't want more than 3 CIPT lands.

Honestly it makes sense to have at least 1 more removal. I'll take out a raise. On the Cipt lands, am I missing something? I only count 3: 2 shambling and 1 windbrisk. Are you counting Isolated as 2 of them?
I hardly ever have then at the wrong time but I could understand.
My meta is filled with a lot of pyroclasm and board wipes mainboard so I guess I'm worried that I'll commit early to the board then get blown out so I wanna have a back up to help refuel. But if we feel 2 isn't a reasonable number I could go down to 1 again. I honestly just really like the card lol

haha, nope. My fault. I was reading Windswept heath and Windbrisk heights. So I saw 2 Vents and 3 Heights, haha. That base looks solid, though. Also, if you're worried about Pyroclasm, why not try more Zealous in the side? It helps in combat, and saves a lot of your guys in a pyroclasm. I'd also suggest Burrenton-Forge tender. I absolutely love this card, especially against any deck playing red removal/creatures. I know Brave has more versatility, but I'd try throwing in 1-2 Burrenton in the side, if sweepers are giving you problems.

I went ahead and just put the 1 I have mainboard since I couldn't make up my mind on removal lol
I would love to have those forge tenders but I still haven't gotten them I'm the mail yet and it's driving me bonkers. I've wanted them forever now lol so when I get them I definitley agree that they should go in.
Also updated aideboard. Going to try hero again and I put back in an o ring. That's probably where it will stay for tonight. Wish me luck gang and I'll do my best to take good notes!
