Hello, I'm upgrading(fixing) the modern deck I've recently bought. So far I got the BW shocklands, the last path to exile, 2x Sorin SV and Hero of Bladehold(those were cheap, so why not). Now I feel I need to work on the hand disruption slots. Unfortunately, getting a set of thoughtseizes would cost me a but to much(maybe in two months, I guess ) and the IoK prices have been going up in the last couple months. I know it is a shot in the dark but could I expect the IoK prices to down a bit or just buy them now while it doesn't go crazy expensive?(or these prices are just people especullating it will be reprinted in september?)
I guess I was too wordy...
tl;dr IoK price is to high, should I wait for it to go down ir just buy them now? =)

I would wait for Battle of Zendikar, but given that Kozilek isn't supposed to make an appearance in the set since he left the plane according to the storyline means that it probably won't be showing up as a reprint. My guess anyways.

What is your local meta exactly? From the last time you were there of course.
There's usualy a tron payer, "mini"abzan, regular abzan, infect, twin, scapeshift, burn, and once in a while there will be a couple of combo players (ad nauseum, living end, storm). Oh and I know someone's been playing around with the Collected Company deck.
Those are the pretty typical decks to see. Once in a while you'll see Jeskai control, or Jund. Pretty much the only thing you don't see regularly is affinity lol
Myth Realized feels much more like an Esper Control card than a Tokens card, same with Monastery Mentor.
They're great cards and look awesome in paper but when you see them in play, and then you see them in play in another deck, it's like they're archetype skill-testers.
What list are you running for tokens? Your sideboard? With those decks, (with the exception of tron) you should be able to stand a fighting chance of doing well in your FNM.
Not sure you can beat Scapeshift outside of multiple Fulminator and Liliana, but then again have never played the matchup having started testing BW Tokens after the Dig banning.

Depending on the amount of hand disruption, it's possible. Scapeshift is a very tough matchup, but depending on his side he could beat it. Leyline and Fulminators worked well for me.
I guess making sideboard decisions is one of the harder aspects of deck tuning, so I thought I would ask for peoples thoughts on Torpor Orb vs. Spellskite to assist me in this process. Thank you for your time.

Yea, I know I SHOULD stand a fighting chance against those decks. But a combination of: I'm just not there yet with my skill level (been playing MTG for a year and a half), and bad luck (I hate to blame luck), has given me mediocre results.
I don't remember my exact SB right now, but here's what I do remember and a lot of it is flexible.
What I'm currently running since I'm testing Myth:
Board in timely and keep champions against both decks. Life gain extends the game and allows you to win. Our cards are just better in the long run over Jund and abzan. Replace hallow with rest in peace. I had a Jund player admit that it wrecks his game plan. I will also repeat, know your deck lists, board out the discard. Their discard is just better. Play around the threats you think they might have and you don't need discard. You will kick their ass in no time.

Rest in Peace is good against Jund or Abzan, relying on the graveyard for Scooze, Goyf, Lingering Souls, and Tasigur, but I feel like Auriok Champion is more important for it's ability to block Raging Ravine or Tasigur for days.

I would much rather play hallow over forge-tender. Same card, yet strictly better in my opinion. Gains you life, and is a surprise trick, not an on board trick.
I've actually found burn impossible to beat now even when running 2x sorin and champion in the main PLUS 4 more anti-burn cards in the side. Any thoughts? It just kills me too fast. I've been thinking of playing Sanctimony lately.

I think I am going to start re including aven mindcensor and pithing needle in the board.
What's the needle for?
Sanctimony seems like a semi-reasonable board option against burn. However, it's strictly worse than most other options since it has very little utility against other decks running red. I don't know what you consider anti-burn, but 3 Kor Firewalker in side on top of 3 Auriok Champion in main would be my starting point for hating on burn. Timely Reinforcements is not particularly reliable - you may be forced to cast it into a Skullcrack type effect, so if you play it, it needs to be on top of some other source of incremental life gain.
2 Champions, 2 Sorin main. 2 Timely and 2 Hallow side. And it's still not good enough. As you mentioned, incremental life gain is needed - I have found this out more and more recently because of Timely meeting a skullcrack. That's why I was thinking of Sanctimony. Kor Firewalker is just as limited in utility against other decks as Sanctimony is. The difference is that it will gain you more life as they play their spells. I haven't tried it yet but it seems just as good as Firewalker. I've also thought about Worship, but it unfortunately has a high CMC
Sanctimony seems cute, but Kor Firewalker blocks and gains you the life. It straight brick walls all of their team and isn't removed by Destructive Revelry, which they are already bringing in against you.

Destructive Revelry is the only downside I saw with it as well. Auriok Champion supposedly blocks against burn as well, but Skullcrack says hello! I've had that happen way too many times.

Burn lists don't run enough Skullcracks to play around that effect. If they have the Skullcrack everytime you block with an Auriok Champion or a Kor Firewalker, they earned that win. That being said, throwing her in front of a Goblin Guide isn't necessary unless you have another dude that you can double block with. If she is going to be simply blocking just to block, it ought to be against Swiftspears. I'm gonna test the burn matchup quite a bit tonight later on. I felt like I couldn't lose against it online, got crushed by it at the Invi, and have kinda been worreid about the matchup now.
