On a side note I'm mulling over adding a second wincon to the mill. I took out thassa, which is probably the simplest answer, but she relies on the same engine, warping, to get the win and if I'm warping I'm winning. So instead I'm considering proteus staff. I would add a couple mutavault, one proteus staff, and one emrakul...maybe one dreadship reef to enable hard casting emrakul. You don't get the time warp effect from using staff to get emrakul, but it can sit on the field doing nothing until you find mutavault.

Temporal Trespass should be great as a one of in the combo version. Use it just before the elixir and you remove 8 lands from the shuffle that were discarded previously. I also wouldn't want to play more than one in any version of this deck.
I have difficulty imagining the deck running Treasure Cruise because of how long it takes to make the cost efficient enough. This costs 3 more mana than that. You'd need to exile 6 cards from your graveyard to make it cost 5 mana. It's not viable imo. I could potentially see this being played in maybe Delver as a 2-of (for those that run 5+ Cruise/Dig). Ascendancy, which also runs Cruise, probably wouldn't run it either just because extra turns don't help a combo which resets itself at the end of turn.
My current build doesn't run any delve cards. IMHO there's enough cantrips to get cooking before they're all that viable, then there's enough card draw that I don't seem to need them. I have to ask what I'd take out for dig though time, not exhaustion, not gigadrowse, not cryptic command, not serum visions, maybe illusory angel or spire golem I guess.
Part of me is considering crucible of worlds and vedalken shackles as sideboard cards and alternate wincons. I could use mutavaults or creeping tar pits, if they get offed crucible brings them back. Mutavault is the better blocker (though inkmoth nexus is better for that). Shackles up whatever dude they're running to beat them over the head. Hmmm....lots of island in my build.

I feel like the new card is just win more. Its really expensive and an early draw is just dead, kinda like getting temporal mastery. It also exiles our Graveyard, so having less time warps when the time comes to popping that elixir. That being said, still needs testing because I like the card.
You'd need to exile 6 cards from your graveyard to make it cost 5 mana.
All that needs to be said about Temporal Trespass. It's a shame, I love the name and artwork.
Soulfire Grand Master, on the other hand, is amazing. It had me looking over my list to see if it was possible to splash W. It isn't really, but so far my takeaway from the spoiler is that UWR control/midrange is a deck that we'll have to be prepared to contend with, because it's about to get much stronger.
“Modern has provided us a non-rotating format that is far more accessible than Legacy or Vintage, but still retains many of the qualities that people enjoy in those formats—such as a more stable metagame, the ability to play and tweak the same deck week after week, and simply a much more powerful card pool than Standard.”

Honestly, I think Soulfire Grand Master is a trap. I've been playing Delver lately (cause I wanted to play Treasure Cruise for a bit) and it has no problems killing an x/2. It has potential against decks like this one that run little to no hard removal, but most decks in the format will have plenty of answers for it. For this deck, you're best bet is probably Spell Snare
Spell Snare? Relevant in Modern? Yeah, there's a reason I moved all three to the main a while back.
I think as a bear with Lifelink, Soulfire is already decent. Throw in the ability to give all Instants and SorceriesBuyback and it gets stupid. Make that ability cast for Guild Mana and it becomes WTF?! The fact that it gives the spell Lifelink is absolutely gross.
I think a lot of people are going to try to shoehorn it into decks where it doesn't belong, but in American Midrange and Control decks it could be quite strong.
The card I'm waiting for with baited breath (sounds gross, doesn't it?) is the blue "choose" card. I'm trying not to keep expectations too high, but if it ends up being two solid choices and the cost is low enough, it could be a solid addition here. Not expecting much else from this set.
Then again, I wasn't expecting much from the last one and we got Dig Through Time, which has been a solid addition here.
To be fair though, jingleheimersmith saw the value of that before I did, so his powers of prediction have trumped mine so far, but I just don't think Temporal Trespass is going to make the cut.
