I have an idea for the new Eldritch Evolution. It involves casting a value 3 CMC creature (Matter Reshaper, Eternal Witness, Kitchen Finks, Tuktuk the Explorer), cast Eldritch Evolution the following turn, sac the 3 CMC creature, search for Goblin Dark-Dwellers, when it enters the battlefield, cast Eldritch Evolution for free, saccing the Goblin Dark Dwellers to put a 7 CMC creature into the battlefield (examples include Rune-Scarred Demon, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Hornet Queen, Pelakka Wurm, Sylvan Primordial).

Of course you would have to protect the combo on turn four before casting Eldrich Evolution, either with black discard, Silence, or check your opponent's hand with Gitaxian Probe.

In any case, I think this combo may have potential for Standard and Modern. What are your thoughts?

Search your library for a creature card with converted mana cost X or less, where X is 2 plus the sacrificed creature's converted mana cost. Put that card onto the battlefield, then shuffle your library. Exile Eldritch Evolution.
