Hmmm Wizards classified decks as Combo, Aggro, or Control. With things like Eldrazi and BG/x being "control decks". I guess at a level 0 perspective you could argue for this but I really don't agree with that look.
These graphs are really weird - Eldrazi is MUCH MUCH more interactive than Tron. IOK, Spot Removal, Sweepers, TKS vs. O-Stone, Ugin, and Pyroclasm. Uhh..
They group the ramp decks and mid-range decks into Control shell, but ignore the "truly" control style decks such as Scapeshift.
This does not make sense to me.
i don't really agree with their defintions either but if you have to characterize those decks using only 3 words and their combinations: aggro/control/combo, is there any better way to do it?
They just shouldn't have done it period. It makes old players annoyed and misleads new ones. The average Reddit or MTGS thread could have made a better system to divide the decks and it would have been much more interesting for everyone watching.
