I played two IQs this weekend and ran pretty different lists, with 24 lands on Saturday and 25 lands on Sunday. I strongly preferred the 25 land base, it was actually the same as what Reid Duke registered for the Super League, but with -1 Blooming Marsh and +1 Bloodstained Mire.

How'd you do? Any report? Any insight to choices or the deck in general?
I have tried cutting down to 1 grudge in the board and moved the second k command to the board, this way I’m running 6 discard spells, 4 bolts and 3 pushes maindeck. I’m having some trouble finding space for everything I want in the board though. I’m liking the idea of a singleton golgari charm. Seems good against Bogles.
But idk, my board feels like sort of a mess right now. Here’s what I’m on.

Work has been nuts so I haven't been able to do a huge write up, but I did have some thoughts at the end of it.
On Saturday I played a 24 land list that was just too greedy. I had a lot of clunky hands and ended up going 2-3, with several losses being because I just couldn't play my cards in a timely manner. In particular, I was kind of unhappy about my hand getting clogged up with Kolaghan's Commands, and when I saw Jadine's deck tech that night I was convinced to move the second one into the sideboard and move a Liliana, the Last Hope back into the main (I had 2 in the side). My list on Saturday also had no Abrupt Decay and 2 Terminate, and I moved to 1 and 1. I also had a pounding headache from when I woke up to when I went to sleep, so I'm not sure that a slightly better list would have done much to salvage the day for me.
On Sunday the IQ had 86 players. I registered this:
I went 4-3, narrowly losing to Mardu Pyromancer to go 5-2 and make top 16. My other losses were to Affinity and Eldrazi Stompy, and I beat Burn, 4-Color Pyromancer, U/W Control, and Skred. I was happy with the list, and liked having access to a second copy of each of the maindeck 3 drops in the sideboard. I'm interested in trying out a 2/3 split of Ravine/Treetop, dropping the Terminate to move the Pulse to the main deck, and going 3/3 on Fatal Push/Bolt. These are mostly minor changes though, and the kinds of flex spot swapping that I would normally be trying out anyway. I'm still very attached to 25 lands, when I was on 24 it felt like I kept running into situations where I needed to draw lands to play my spells, but I needed to draw more spells because I was falling behind because I couldn't play my spells fast enough. Playing 5 manlands felt like it mitigated flooding a lot, and I honestly didn't feel flooded at all on Sunday.
As much as I ragged on her, having Liliana, the Last Hope back in the main felt very good in the midrange/small creature matchups. I think that she's better than K-command at catching us up if we fall behind in the first couple turns because of lands coming in tapped, and that in the matchups where she's not great (Tron, Scapeshift) she's not substantially worse than K-Command. Those are also matchups where we're highly unlikely to win game 1 anyway. She's also hugely important to fight against Lingering Souls, and the Mardu Pyromancer deck is a very strong choice if people want to beat Jund while playing a midrange strategy. Unless something drastic changes, this is the shell I'm looking to play moving forward.
For those with SCG premium, Jadine posted an article about her playing Jund at SCG dallas. You don't have to talk about actual contents cause of the paywall, but what did she cover in her article? From the comments it looks like she talked about her deckbuilding decisions and possibly sideboard plans? Is there anything else she mentioned? I'm thinking about getting premium for a month just for this.

She details how she arrived at her build and why certain factors, such as cascade, flexibility and costs, mattered. She also described her sideboard plan for various match ups. She ends it with talking about her top 8 match and how classy a guy Jim Davis is.
The reason I like to attack their ability to assemble Tron postboard is because it forces them to waste more time cantripping/finding ways to produce green to cast their Scryings/Stirrings, which takes their entire turn when they're on only 2-3 mana. While you are right that they generally have more tutors than threats, once they have Tron+ online it's very easy for them to cast multiple spells a turn until they find a threat they can play. In conjunction with the 4 Fulminator Mage plan I'm trying now, it's felt very important to take their tutors because they can easily recover from having just one land blown up. I suppose a good summary is to say that I think taking their tutors buys more turns on average than taking a threat-- but again, it is always context dependent!
That makes sense. I will pay more attention to what I usually take against Tron. Its basically always somewhat different what to take. But when I see a hand, I usually know what to take. So I need to pay more attention to that to figure out what cards I more often pick.

Don't worry, your SB is fine, lots of different versatile cards, don't be afraid of singletons if you still attack all angles correctly. The main ones are land destruction (Fulminator) lifegain (finks/CB) GY hate (Spellbomb, Cage) extra discard (CB) extra, more specific removal (Sweeper, Grudge, extra Pulse/Commands etc.) and then grindy threats (Finks/LtLH/Fulm). Some cards of course have double or triple purposes. By running more singletons, you have more different cards that do more against the whole field. In a specific matchup you likely have to use slightly worse cards (like golgari Charm against Affinity, which would be your second grudge) but you have more game against the field as a whole. However, I dont recommend going for flexible cards only, like Jund Charm or Rakdos Charm. They are just too bad imo.
The thing I would change is adding a third piece of GY hate into the SB. Especially with 2 OOze only MB. Maybe cut a Fulminator for it?
-What are your basics of choice (as in what sets) for this deck and why?
I really like the APAC lands, but for the sake of foils I'm using arena. I don't really like full art lands.
-Which Terminate do y’all run?
Foil Alara Reborn(I like the art) but I'm going to switch to foil Planeshift when I get the chance
-Has anyone sprung for fancy Lightning Bolts?
I have cheap foil Bolts, but they will be upgraded to textless.
-Does everyone run the FNM BBE’s? If not, is it because you prefer another set/art or you just can’t find them at the moment?
I use my signed FNM BBE's. The art is soooo much better than Alara's.
Oh, wow! Thanks for all the responses (in reference to my questions about art/set choices and aesthetics). I didn’t expect to get that large of a sample size. That actually made me really happy to hear that everyone had their own little preferences, be it due to personal nostalgias, matching other art choices in their deck, etc.
I’ll tell you that for whatever reason I had never thought about the FBB Lightning Bolts. This has changed my life! That may be a slight exaggeration, but I am on the hunt now, as we speak, for 4x German FBB Bolts. That’s gonna be the icing on the cake for my deck. I went with pretty much OG everything. With the exception of the Bolts and my Textless Terminate, every card in my deck is from the first set in which it appears. I could have gone with Alpha basics, but like I said, I like the art and how vibrant the coloring is on the third or “c” basics that came out in Beta.
I’m also trying to decide which fancy Duress to go with in my SB. There are A LOT of cool choices for that card. Foil 7th, Arena Foil, FNM, IDW Comic, etc. Right now I’m rocking Urza’s Saga.
About Lili tLH, I’ve only REALLY missed her on game-ones against Junk and Pyromancer. My buddy that plays Junk blew me out a couple of games by tLH’ing my Bob and grinding me out with Lingering Souls. I miss her Mb big time in that MU. She’s obviously great there. I’m running a MB Lavaman as a concession though, and that does help. I just really wanted two Pulses and two K-Commands MB and couldn’t keep her in with so many three-drops.
@lowekevin123, I think it’s worth subscribing for a month to get those few articles. Siegel inadvertently convinced me to do so and I haven’t regretted it. Now, I will say that I have a lot to gain from these articles because I’m not nearly as proficient a pilot as most of these guys in this thread. I’m not sure how much was reiteration for them, but I learned a lot of useful, nuanced stuff that I probably wouldn’t have figured out otherwise. At least not without many an hour of gameplay. Just wait ‘til you have a big order to fill on SCG and the 5% discount should pay for most of the subscription.

Thx Delver. I’m currently trying out the 4th mage in the board, just trying it out to see how much of a difference it makes in the matchups where you really need to draw it. Have not yet had the opportunity to try it out though. But i agree that I need more GY hate, probably a second spellbomb.
Do any of you have experience with the Blue steel matchup? I keep loosing against our local player that plays it, although it feels to me like it should be favored for me. I’m somewhat certain I’m playing the matchup wrong. I know it is somewhat of a fringe deck, it just annoys me
For articles, SCG Premium is certainly nice to have, but especially for beginners to Jund, its not needed to get Premium actually. Just have a look at the article section of the primer, where you will find a list of free and also arguably the best Jund-related articles, which gets updated constantly!
Just now I added the good article of PVDDR about mulliganing, so check it out!

In regards to the mulligan article, I hopefully will be doing a new keep or mull poll soon, am still collecting interesting hands.
So in the meantime, why not talk about your preferences regarding BBE versions. Added a poll for that. For me personally, only Steve Argyle arts are acceptable
BBE preferences? Steve Argyle's art is so much better than the original in my eyes. Elf herself looks a lot tougher and the background really paints a true "Jund" picture.

Dude, I’ve always thought that about the background! It’s so volatile and tempestuous. It’s exactly that. A quintessential Jund backdrop.
I will say the Alara art has its merits. The color scheme is really cool, and the other characters in the picture look cool. The elf herself just looks too much like a girl you’d see at Bonnaroo or Coachella
I hope no one takes me too seriously. This is some pretty subjective stuff!
-What are your basics of choice (as in what sets) for this deck and why?
Arena 2001 Ice Age foils. A question of Nostalgia, since I played during Fallen Empires, Ice Age and Homelands, and I really like that pink Forest.
-Which Terminate do y’all run?
Commander 2016, since I bought a playset then and I like the art. However, it might be a cut at some point.
-Has anyone sprung for fancy Lightning Bolts?
No, any black border one works for me. I was using a Abzan deck, and my foiling days are hover, I think *too much curving).
-Does everyone run the FNM BBE’s? If not, is it because you prefer another set/art or you just can’t find them at the moment?
Haven't seen them. Bought a playset of EMA before the unban, just in case.
-What are your basics of choice (as in what sets) for this deck and why?
I run all APAC blues. I managed to find a sealed APAC blue set in a hobby shop in Japan when I was a kid and I've been quite attached to them ever since.
-Which Terminate do y’all run?
I run textless rewards terminates.
-Has anyone sprung for fancy Lightning Bolts?
These are next up on my buy list.
-Does everyone run the FNM BBE’s?
I managed to get my last one the night before the unbanning and I couldn't be happier with the purchase, plus I enjoy the art more.
On a separate note, I have a few serious questions for everyone as regards form and not function:
-What are your basics of choice (as in what sets) for this deck and why?
-Which Terminate do y’all run?
-Has anyone sprung for fancy Lightning Bolts?
-Does everyone run the FNM BBE’s? If not, is it because you prefer another set/art or you just can’t find them at the moment?
on BBE, i'm not a fan of the argyle art at all. it's too "pretty" and i think the anatomy and proportions are off.
