Unified Will is certainly good against some matchups. It can be unreliable too though.
I have tried the old Gideon yet, but I plan on running him in my next leagues. Eventually, I will be trying Batterskull as well since it has been suggested. I'm skeptical of including more reasons for them to board in artifact hate against us. I want to stay at a level where they don't really want to include it, and if they do, they should be stuck with dead cards in hand.
Regarding Stubborn, I can't think of many decks running Chalice against Bant Eldrazi post board. Sure it shuts down a lot of cards, but we would typically have started off with either dork/Stirrings, and they should have bigger problems than trying to fight out small dudes from that point.
I might sound a bit biased but most probably it's because it has saved me plenty of times.. lol.
Next question is, how good is Blessed Alliance as a mb card? Was thinking of replacing spellskite with it.
Discovered a pretty interesting option today: Nest invader. It's basically skyspawners 5-8 that can almost always be played on Turn 2.
I am currently brewing with this + gavony township... something like this:
3x Drowner of Hope
3x Eldrazi Displacer
4x Eldrazi skyspawner
3x Nest invader
4x Noble hierarch
4x TKS
4x RS
24x Land including 1x Gavony Township
1x Batterskull
2x EE
4x path
4x stirrings
Testing so far has shown that this list is super consistent. You can keep hands that have no acceleration and just a stirrings and nest invader. The batterskull and township both allow the Invader + spawn token to have value late game.
Invader doesn't make a 1/1, only a 0/1, but that's an interesting idea! I like the consistency it represents.
EDIT: Oh, right, first post here. Hey, guys! Have enjoyed lurking for a few days on this Thread, and have been testing different deck styles as well. Still not sure where I'm going with the final product, but thanks for all the work you guys have done on this deck so far!
I actually do run a 1 of Batterskull now with so much burn around here. It's been great and taken a lot of the burn players by surprise. I'm also running a 1 of D.Command and new Nissa. Both have also been doing great for me. The scry alone helps set up advantages when behind and command helps me kill off some pesky creatures or that game 1 Blood moon.
Oh, wow, Dromoka's sounds fantastic! So versatile...I'll be sure to try out a few of those MD! Right now I've just been running a list with 28 creatures, and it definitely feels like it's too many creatures for grindier matchups.
I don't really like Dcommand. Fight isn't a good source of removal as you can get blown out and you have to already have a board state. GW is also hard to support mana wise.
Anyone have experience with Township? Earlier builds eschewed it, but now that 4 skyspawner is stock, perhaps we do go wide enough to support it.Plus we aren't the biggest kids around the block anymore.
I've been testing Township. It works fantastically for forcing answers to one or two actual cards on the Board, since over the space of multiple bodies, it presents a very credible threat. It also allows you to keep more threats in hand while trying to force that answer, so that you don't get blown out by removal.
K-Kommand is much less of a blow-out when they're using it to kill Spawn tokens, lol.
I prefer the command in my main over the blessed. It comes down to what your meta is. I do in fact run 2 Alliances in the side and I think it's a great card to use. I just like having to deal with Moons game 1 around my area. I don't think getting 1 green and 1 white is too unreasonable but that is my opinion.

Thx for the input. Has there ever been a time u wished that the DComm was a BA instead while playing?
Terrible topdeck, we're also not really a tribal deck in that sense.
Side note, I don't think blessed alliance belongs in the maindeck. It's way too reactive of a card. It's been incredibly mediocre for me and I don't even have it in my sideboard.
I have always used spellskite but it's not always effective, in a meta filled w burn n aggro. I was hoping the BA can work as the 5th removal and of cause, gain life while i'm at it.
This is my SB:
2 Reclamation Sage (blood moon, tron, affinity, sinergy with Displacer)
1 Thragtusk
1 Worship
1 Blessed Alliance (maybe a dromoka's command)
2 Rest in Peace
2 Mana Leak (can hit many threats and gain time against burn, control, knightfall. Stroke is better against tron, but mana leak can catch them at least one time)
1 Grafdigger's Cage
1 Negate
1 Disdainful Stroke
2 Stony Silence
1 Ugin, the Spirit Dragon (flex slot,i'm testing because can win some bad matchups if he enters the battlefield - even with a resolved blood moon. could be a Lavinia or All is dust)
I think now we dont have some mirror matches, then we could leave some mirror breakers (like elspeth) and focus on kill conditions or hard impact cards, like, ugin, all is dust or lavinia.
A few points of discussion:
1) I prefer Birds over Nobles for two reasons: first is that they fly, which has many advantages (pumping with Township to fly over for lethal, blocking other fliers like Stormbreath); and second, it allows me to use EE on 4, which has saved my ass a few times now.
2) Nest Invader has only two downsides: you can't grab it with a T1 Ancient Stirrings, and it makes a Spawn instead of a Scion. Otherwise, it's cheap, effective, and really helps with consistency. I found 3 to be too many, but 2 seems to work fine.
3) I'm still not sure if Reality Smasher at a 3-of is the right call, but I have yet to play a game where I saw E-Wit and wished it was a Smasher. If I cut the E-Wit, I lose a great recursion tool, and that's the only slot I'd feel good on replacing with a Smasher.
4) Dromoka's has been great. It's not the best removal, but it's excellent for defending a large Board. A MD counter to Blood Moon, Anger of the Gods, and if you're lucky, even stopping Lightning Storm from killing you is a really good investment, IMO.
5) Township is a house, you can find it with Stirrings, and going wide works really well. Had 2 Birds out, a Nest Invader, and a Spawn, they killed my Invader with a Bolt, so I just started pumping my dorks and forced half his removal out on cards that didn't cost me anything. Then I dropped a TKS and two Smashers to finish the game. Great land to have!
6) Still not sure on Blessed Alliance, but it's super good against Burn. Otherwise, it hasn't been all that great, as Death's Shadow just pulls it out of your hand before you can even use it, and Breach dropping something has already done their damage by the time you cast it. Still, I'll keep testing and see how I feel about them.
7) Really like a World-Breaker against Lantern. That deck's a pain, and I have regrets keeping one slot in my side just for them.
Anyway, that's what I've got so far. Lemme know what you think!
Found a great card for go wide: divine reckoning. A wrath that doesn't kill our early dorks or fatties, and can be played before turn 4 unlike tragic arrogance. Can also be flashed back for a second stabilization.
This along with gideons intervention makes me want to alter my manabase to support WW...
Yeah I feel like if you're gonna do a 5cmc wrath, tragic arrogance is better. But elves and affinity are turn 4 decks, so a wrath at 4cmc is probably necessary.
Gearhulk is interesting though. the sacrifice clause gets around ezuri and it also hits artifacts. The ww cost is mitigated by cavern too, and it has synergy with displacer. It could also have a role in the mirror...
I think we could use 1x linvala on SB. She hits mirror and many bad matchs: elves, affinity, abzan company, vizir combo. Lavinia is also nice, but needs a displacer to keep hitting the opponent.
I might sound a bit biased but most probably it's because it has saved me plenty of times.. lol.
