Will Traverse ever be turned on though? You do not seem to be able to reliably turn on delirium.

Yes traverse gets turned on by mid-game usually, but I agree it isn't particularly great here. It's inclusion is chosen in the sorcery slot over Serum Visions for Tarmogoyf and make sure we are hitting land drops on curve. It's worth noting that the most normal way to turn on delirium in this deck is land, creature, enchantment and planeswalker. Having a couple sorceries and instants help turn it on earlier, but generally the board position is in our favour if planeswalkers are not in my graveyard by the midgame.
That being said it might just be better as serum visions and that is the other obvious consideration.
So I've been contemplating Eli Kassis's innovation with respect to jamming nahiri, the harbinger combo in with knightfall. The decklist felt very raw, and I was interested enough in the idea to work on it. I think one of the most compelling reasons to go this direction is that we are threatening to do it earlier than other builds, and it gives the deck a way to overpower graveyard hate with another (mostly) instant-win. In fact, bringing in graveyard hate against the build might not be such a good plan since it can just be a brick if we are on the turn 3 Nahiri plan. Additionally, it gives us something good to do with extra Retreat to Coralhelms.
So I started brewing. As a 4-drop, Nahiri will take the spots of collected company since they have direct anti-synergy. Dropping coco opens up the deckbuilding a bit allowing for more filtering. This is a rough draft trying to take as many lines of attack as possible. Nissa, Voice of Zendikar offers another threat that can protect nahiri or stall until coralhelm combo.
So many ways to win: regular beat down, coralhelm combo, nahiri combo and even ormandal beatdown.
The diversity of threats offered here is impressive.
Anyone else been thinking about Nahiri Knightfall builds? Post your try!
edit: Updated list. The deck feels incredible. SB added.
edit 2: Updated Again. SB still in flux a bit, but otherwise list is solidifying. Nissa is a great way to curve into nahiri when you aren't hitting the knightfall combo since it dodges most removal and offers a chump blocker each turn while threatening her own ultimate. Traverse the Ulvenwald has been performing better than serum visions as we can actually turn it on once we hit turns 4-5 (oath of nissa would be better than either, but I wanted a sorcery for goyf).
So this is the list i started with because Little Nissa is my favorite walker. I went to a more permanant based build and took out the goyfs as I couldn't rely on them much. I went the path of all in multiple paths to combo super synergy everyday is christmass-land build.
I'm still new to brewing this list but what i like about it is Matter Reshaper hits everything (except genesis hydra and Nahiri. Additionally having 8 cards with "2 lives" is really fun and makes it easier to throw out westvale abbey without it feeling as "all in" if you become desperate. I really came to this list after my goyf never really grew past 2/3 when I really needed it to. I find that I am not missing land drops too hard though I am still iffy on Genesis Hydra? Perhaps I just miss my old Genesis Wave deck too much.
P.S. The kid in me just wants to see Crumbling Vestige do good and it seems useful. Early game because the color fixing and colorless fixing and late game to act as a color i might need during KnightFall combo.
@ Ebonsiren: I don't like Matter Reshaper in the list as I'm concerned that it won't be castable on curve consistently, and I don't think it's worth the risk. Crumbling vestige does not have enough upside imo. Genesis hydra is an interesting try, look forward to hearing about that.
I went to lgs for a 4 round modern event last night to play the list. I had updated it a bit to try some cards out, and went 3-1 on the night losing a close grindy match to jund. I didn't like the changes I had made which involved putting in a couple toolboxy creatures, which seemed to just make draws less consistent.
I've updated the list a bit. Nissa at times was dead in hand while one was in play before drawing nahiri. I didn't like how often this occured, as Nissa isn't going to bring a board back if you are behind on her own - she is good at buying time but won't bring it back on her own.Since the 3rd Nissa wasn't testing super well, I'm going to try Tamiyo, Field Researcher. She allows us to tap artifacts and creatures to exile with Nahiri, the Harbinger as an interesting interaction, and gideon jura can do similar things to creatures and break board stalls.
Here's the updated list - traverse was dropped as there just isn't enough room in the decklist for a toolboxy creature package, and goyf has been huge without using sorceries due to the enchantments and planeswalkers.
@wpgstevo Thanks for exploring this list.
Kassis's inclusion of Nahiri has mostly left me stumped.
I'm wondering, what matchups do you think Nahiri has helped improve?
How have you been with just 2 Path to Exile?
Nahiri is a very flexible card. It seems to be better against everything but control where it is a bit weaker than coco builds since it is less explosive. However, since Nahiri's -2 is removal, she works as a great answer card in most matchups, while at least offering some filtering and a 2 turn clock otherwise. I would say that while coco builds have more explosiveness, superfriends builds have a higher baseline power and more interaction.
Path to exile becomes less important when you can just drop Nahiri and exile whatever creature is causing the most difficulty. I have not really missed the extra path to exiles. Abzan company, for instance, frequently eschews path to exile in the maindeck. I think without splinter twin to worry about, green creature decks are not as pressured to play path as in the past.

So I went 3-1 again at my LGS with the list below so I thought I might write some thoughts about it. Firstly I just got to say I really think it is a fun deck. The ability to tutor for some key lands and just not creatures leads to alot of nailbiting moments and huge swings of the game. Somehow you think that a Bant deck should have have at least one Township, but the suprise +1/+1 to the team catches people off guard.
In general you really rarely get to combo off. It mostly plays an important role as a threat they need to deal with and gives you an out to fast uninteractive decks. Also do not underestimate how good Retreat is combined with threats like Geist and fetches.
I am still very much experimenting with the sideboard, so do not take is as something well worked out. Sideboarding is very metadependent anyways as I think most of us know.
The 1-of Dispel in the mainboard is nothing I would generally recommend. It is just an adaption to the my particular meta. I mean even Tron runs Bolts.
Match 1: 2-0 against UW tempo-control. On the draw.
This deck seemed to be built to win against all the other control decks, even running Cavern for wizards. I was lucky that none of my Voices got Snared, and they together with basically just fat creatures won the game. Keeping a fetch up with Retreat on board went he could never trust in a Snapcaster to block a Geist, or blocking with a Collonade.
Sideboard: Dispel and Negate in. Path and a Retreat out.
Match 2: 2-0 against Grixis control. On the draw.
Game 1 was mostly won thanks to two CoCos on turn 4 and 5. 2 Voices on turn 2 and 3 was very key here.
Game 2 was the same story. He could not stop a Voice on turn 2 and with me drawing threats he could not keep up with I quickly won the game.
Sideboard: Dispel, 1 Wheel and Spellskite in. Retreats out, thinking he probably has too much removal to combo off.
Match 3: 2-1 against GR Tron. On the play.
Game 1 I was happy to see a turn 3 combo win in hand, seeing he played Grove into an egg. But that joy came to end when he bolted my Hierarch, setting me back to turn 4 combo if I drew a mana source. But i did not do so in time for him to Tron off.
Game 2 and 3 was underesting. Turn 2 Stony both games completely shut him off tron and any fast clock could have won then. But it was nice to have both Pridemage ond tutorable Ghost Quarter as a backup if he had gotten rid of the Stony.
Sideboard: Stony and negate in, Ooze and Dispel (I think) out.
Match 4: 0-2 aganist Jeskai Gifts. On the draw.
Game 1 I had the combo but it was reliant on my Hierarch for white mana. I took the chance but it got bolted and afterwards I never drew a white mana source. I eventually lost with 7 white cards in hand.
Came 2 I kept a pretty spell-light hand hoping a Voice could do some work. It got Snared. After that I drew 5 lands in a row, and I could not get anything to stick through all his counterspells.
Thinking about card choices I will change one Kataki to another Stony. Having two of them was a nod towards CoCo, but Stony is just more versatile. The last Kataki is still tutorable with Chord.
Speaking Chord, I really love that card as a 1-of. The deck is not combo oriented enough to warrent more of them I think. Still very useful to find i.e. a Spellskite.
There is an odd Goyf as a 1-of and that is probably the most obvious card to change to something potentially more useful. It really is a great beater and I understand why some successfull lists have run it though.
I do not run Kessig in the deck. The first reason for it is that the mana base is really strained already. Having another colorless land is really bad sometimes when you do not have a mana dork. Also I just do not play red. It is one of my silly principles. To this point I have never had a situation where I needed it, but I will experiment with Rouge's Passage sometime in the future and see where that leads.
@wpgstevo I actually swapped out the genesis hydra for it not getting hit with matter reshaper and put in 3x Reality smasher (I know I know still doesn't get hit with Reshaper, but when it comes on board it ends games). Crumbling Vestige over horizon canopy was originally a budget reason, but also allows for very easy access to C. With that being the only difference in our landbase i never was unable to cast Reshaper when I wanted him. I just love throwing so many threats that usually take 2for1 your opponent (Reshaper, Voice, and Smasher).
Like you stated, i've been running into similar problems with nissa in match ups. I have been looking for other walkers to take one of her spots and I feel now that my curve increased a little maybe I'll add a 1 of Tamiyo Field instead.
I find my version eats control very well. Isn't very vulnerable to midrange decks that i've faced. I'll report when I can get more testing done.
Lloyd Kurth's 8th place looks very interesting. Thalia HC and Spell Queller popping up in the deck, generally more silver bullet oriented. Definitely interested in what Dryad Arbor is up to in Brian Fitzgerald's list.

Rogue's Passage always felt somewhat useless to me. With Retreat to Coralhelm being able to tap down creatures, it's very rare that a situation would come up to where you're getting roadblocked by a hexproof dude or the board is flooded to the point where you can't tap everything down. I recently started playing without Kessig, and I had a heart attack the first time an opponent actually made me get the Knight to 20 while he was at 20 (turns out my current configuration gets Knight to an absolute maximum of 20 thank god). I don't know if I really do like moving away without Kessig since it's won me a fair number of games I couldn't have without it.

I tried playing without Kessig, and did not like it. Especially if you are not playing Sejiri Steppe, getting to 20 damage requires you putting all your lands in the graveyard. This is a very all-in move and can just lose to a path to exile or terminate (especially for Coco builds without maindeck counters like Stubborn Denial). The opportunity cost for including the kessig wolf run is pretty low, with upside of turning each creature - including dorks, into threats and cards that can trade for opponents' threats. All you need are birds and a single stomping ground to support the kessig wolf run, so really there is little reason to exclude it.

I run a Dryad Arbor. Its a forest, which is relevant for Kotr, and a creature to be grabbed off a Coco/Chord.
Like in most decks that run him he acts as a tutorable chump blocker or lili sacrifice. My favorite use for it however is to help flip a Westvale Abbey.
I'll be completely honest I haven't read the WHOLE forum on this BANT deck tech but I wanted to share my decklist with you guys nonetheless, see what you thought and maybe get some advice. So far it's doing pretty well so far with 3x 3-1 finishes in FNM-like events, still waiting for a PPTQ or similar event to try against a more diversified pool of player/deck. I decided to dicth the retreat combo since it felt clunky and fragile to me while requiring a lot of pieces to actually be "untouchable".
I opted to go for a more midrange/tempo approach with creatures that will more often than not out-value those of my opponent. I have yet to lose a game against any variation of control, be it Grixis, america or any kind of control homebrew I've encountered. JUND is a fair match-up, not hard, not easy, mainly depends on the pilot, I do feel we have a slight advantage with cards like Loxodon Smiter and Geist of Saint-Traft tho. I foresee Tron, affinity and burn being tricky, but far from impossible to win with good sideboard options. Living end and Ad nauseam shouldn't be too hard either with the counters in the side and the help of rest in peace.
Anyone tested/discussed Eldritch Evolution as a way to fish up Knight for the combo/silver bullets? Works great with Voice as well, netting a token and a bigger creature
I was actually going to ask the same question in this thread last night but decided to test it out myself. I was never a huge fan of the singleton chord, but I can see myself liking the Eldritch Evolution better. Less mana intensive, can trade Voices for bullets, can trade mana dorks for beaters, etc. Annoyingly haven't drawn it in live game situations, but I think people are overlooking how powerful a Natural Order type card can be right now.

That's what I was thinking. The potential of say, turn 1 dork into a turn 2 bullet can really shut down some decks like a Kataki against Affinity or a Magus of the Moon against Tron (or even just fetch a fulminator against tron if you don't run magus), or eidolon of rhetoric, etc.
