Against any decks running fetches/searchers, the mainboarded Aven Mindcensor just slows the deck down and sometimes they miss off of GQ and FoR as well. I have only gone against Jeskai Control and I'm undefeated against it due to the inevitability of this deck. Emeria + Proclamation forecasts late game is just too much to keep up with, especially when reanimating Thraben Inspector. I have the sole Oketra's Monument for board presence and also, with Gideon's emblem, the deck can go wide.
Any suggestions or things to move around?

Hi guys! New to the deck and I'd like to try playing with Glittering Wish - was there ever a mini-primer or something of the sort written about it? I tried looking back some pages in the thread but with no luck. I've never played a deck that runs a wishboard and it seems like a lot of fun. Is there a list of good cards to use with Wish or anything so that I can narrow it down and choose which to put in my board? Would be nice to have that as opposed to manually looking through each modern-legal multicolored card via Gatherer.
So far I'm just thinking Meddling Mage, Wheel of Sun and Moon to shut down combos, and Pride of the Clouds against control when they've got a Rest in Peace or something of the sort out. Supreme Verdict for obvious reasons. I'm not yet decided on colors so maybe even something like Slaughter Games is appealing, but I'd appreciate some input from people that have already put a fair bit of thought into it. Any chance we could get newer innovations to the deck like that in the primer as well?
Edit: while I'm here, what makes Avacyn such a popular choice? I've played with Wurmcoil Engine a bit and it seems like that's preferable, outside Avacyn's being white. Is there some major use to her that's going over my head?
Journey to nowhere, valorous stance, dismember, chained to the rocks. Banisher priest, fiend hunter. Walking ballista. Mangara of corondor. Gideon jura. Gideon of the trials, kind of.
If creature removal is all you are looking for then give Declaration in Stone a look. Saffron Olive has played it in a few budget decks and speaks highly of it.
Round 1: Auras Hexproof (Bogles) [Won 2-1]
Comments: Cast Out was really impressive, that let some tricks like exile Spirit Mantle and block a Bogle with 2 Rancors or to remove a Totem Armor aura. Kami lock wins G1.
Round 2: Mardu Pyro [Won 2-0]
Comments: Walking Ballista and Hangarback Walking is so good against them. It was the easiest match.
Round 3: GW Hatebears [Won 2-0]
Comments: Ballista won both games. G1 he had a Scavenging Ooze with plenty of creatures in the grave. I managed to hold the game until Walking Ballista gets bigger than the Ooze (chump block for like 10 turns) and paying 8 mana to put counters on Ballista.
Round 4: Storm [Loose 0-2]
Comments: Extremely bad matchup. Game one I have 61 life and still lose to Grapeshot
Round 5: Jeskai Midrange [Won 2-0]
Comments: His deck doesn't play Teferi maindeck, so it's a really good match. G1 held the game until Emeria became active. G2 almost lost, but a topdecked Ranger of Eos search Martyr while he was in the Burn mode.
Round 6: Humans [ID]
Top 8: Jeskai Control [1-1, won because of time]
Comments: Hilarious match. G1 I won by recurring Walking Ballista for at least 5 times. His endless Teferi planeswalkers doesn't let him concede the game, so much time was spend in this match. It took him a while to realize that he cannot win game one even drawing two cards a turn (because of Proc and then Emeria). Ballista never let Teferi emblem.
G2: I made a mistake. Played two active Serra Ascendant turn three and he casts Supreme Verdict turn four. Then he slowly grinds me out of the game with 4 Cryptic Commands + 3 Snapcaster Mage flashback Cryptic until emblem Teferi. My mistake costs me this game.
G3: We had only two minutes in the clock. The player with most life will have the victory :). I find Martyr and sac it. Next turn he casts Lyra, but I have Dusk//Dawn (phew, it was close). His Snap + Bolt + Snap + Secure the Wastes almost gives him the victory.
Quarter finals: Humans [Won 2-0]
Comments: G1 A top decked Wrath of God turns the table. I would lose without this top deck. G2 another Wrath of God from top swings the game on my favor. This was the most difficult Humans match that I ever played.
Finals: Storm [Won 2-1]
Comments: 4x Damping Sphere in the side plus a little luck brings the trophy. Everytime he destroyed/bounced a Damping Sphere I had Path to Exile or Surgical Extraction in hand.

Congrats on your result ! How did you "recur" Ballistas, though ? Just using Mistveil Plains + Dusk / Dawn ? How did you find Dusk // Dawn by the way ? I'm afraid this is a dead card against most of the format, really. Just looking at your matchups, it doesn't feel optimal against Humans, Hatebears, and even Mardu Pyromancer as well.

This deck is a copy (minus 1 plains) of the one that made 9-0 1 week ago.
And not being on mtgo, it couldn't win simply out-timing opponents as described in that article.
So it seems there is some real value here (and/or favorable meta).
New to this deck. Can someone please explain the soft lock? Checked the primer and didn’t see it, although it’s very possible I accidentally glossed over it. Thanks!

You need to get to 6 lands with proclmation in hand or have the plains for Emeria to recur Martyr every turn. Most decks can't really beat the 9-12 life a turn with a chump block.
Well sure, its not great against a deck like jund. But against infect, for example, it can be pretty potent.
It also lets us continue to draw cards and make land drops, so often you can fog a few turns then wrath, or gain some life, or what have you, which can definitely swing a game.
In the orzhov builds you had instant speed resurrection to blow them out there, though of course thats not available in mono white.
All tips are welcome!

Ehhh...It's a lock until they find an instant speed removal and kill kami at the end if your turn then come swinging in on their turn.
