Thanks! It seems like Pyro is good against most decks... Surprised it doesn't show up in main more often. It always gets me when I'm not expecting it, but I've never actually played it myself. Apparently it's a big Legacy staple too, must be pretty good!
Legacy has Force of Will to protect it and some other free spells to have a better pay off though.

It has its uses, and threat density is important in some matchups. It's nowhere near as good as it was before Gitaxian Probe was banned.

I've played my BlueMoon version this weekend in GP Bilbao. My record has been 9-6, winning 2 Hardened Scales, 2 Affinity, GTron, RB Hollow One, RG Valakut, Burn and UW Control and losing against 2 GDS, Izzet Phoenix, Humans, BG Rock and a mirror with Breach/Emrakul.
But... I want to know the Gorka Lopez list, who finished 39th playing a version with Cracling Drake over TiTi (Gorka, si lees esto pasame la lista completa, please). I will use the islandpaint's list as a new beginning, and I will accept any advaice about it. Thanks

Hi Alex! It was really nice to meet you in the GP.
I did a 11-3-1 for 39th place with this decklist in this past GP Bilbao. I won against Rock, Hardened, Burn (it was a miracle), R Prison, GDS,...
I love Drakes. They are just what you need to finish the game. I don't like TiTi. We invest too much resources in them: protecting them and fliping them. I prefer to use those resources to deal with their threats and then play a Drake (mostly with 6 mana, logic knot back up), and win.
RAL is the real King here. In this metagame is the best thing we have. Also the SB Keranos won a lot of matches for me against BGx midrange, control and prison decks. I lost 1 round and draw another round against Phoenix but it was my fault. We are really strong against them. I killed TiTi like 8 times in these two rounds. With 2 spell snare, 2 harvest pyre, 1 flame slash, and SB Rending Volley and Roast we are really good against this matchup. Not to mencionate the Surgicals.
I don't use this forum enough to know how to embed the decklist here, but JCumiskey posted a 5-0 finish with a new combo kill in blue moon. Seems kinda sweet. For only 15 bucks it was an easy decision to grab the cards to try at the next FNM.
I’m kind of astonished for the fact that nobody seems to play this archetype anymore. I’m having a blast, locally, crushing my meta.
I’m still on the Pascal Vernier’s iteration of the deck (Pyro-Thing) with the addition of the new toys. Having a double wincon has been extra useful in so many scenarios, I don’t see myself going back.
Decks always been decent, but never outstanding or doing anything broken consistently.
If the meta narrows however, I've always been successful enough with it.
I know the deck has never been a Tier (I myself played it for a long time) but the recent addiction aren’t a slight modification, they add so much fuel to the archetype. Charm is a spell MEANT for Blue Moon. Force is, simply put, what makes you willing to tap out on turn two without have to worry about the opponent doing broken things. Sinkhole is a way to deal with Goyf and Delve threats much more consistently than using Roast or Harvest Pyre. Charm also deals with things such as Death’s Shadow, which were always a beating.
Hi guys,
I'm back to this game and had lot of blue/red cards so I decided to build a UR deck. I need lot of cards to build phoenix and im scared about a possible ban so decided to build a Blue Moon deck.
I bought a few cards and this is the resultant list:
Can you help me to improve it?
I miss cards like Vendillion or Electrolyze in the main deck or Keranos in the side. How do you see them?
And i see 2 Magmatic Sinkhole like too many. Are not?
I tested this list today. I did not do a great result. But I had great fun.
I'm wondering about Thing in the Ice and Young Pyromancer and Crackling Drake. Crackling Drake is a great card and I think to give it to the main only what with pyro or ice. Archmage's Charm give us a lot of possibilities today I almost stole Hardened Scales :).unfortunately I missed a remand
no planeswerker was needed. Shenanigans is a very powerful card and I think 2 in the sideboard. Generally I only play moderna and I love ur I've come more often Regards

I lost the user but this is me. The changes I will try after these two new editions are:
+3 UUU Archmages Charm (choose one: counter target spell, draw two cards, gain control cmc 1 or less)and going out: 1 Blood Moon, 1 Logic Knot, 1 Ancestral Vision.
+1 R5 instant (Delve, 5 damage to creature or planeswalkers) and going out: 1 Harvest Pyre.
What do you guys think about the new cards? Something else we should try?
I would play directly 2 of the new istant removal instead of the Pyres (but I would run the second Flame Slashbefore that).
Edit.
Oh, I’ll play just one Mountain and make space for 2 Blast Zone.

You could try Aria too. Like 2 on main.
