I don't fell that Living End is a good match up. They play maindeck grave hate in form of Faerie Macabre and Archfiend of Ifnir whivh is devastating post Living End. And post side they have Angers and even sometimes Leylines. It looks really hard to overcome it.
Yeah, I guess I'm looking at old data. Insolent Neonate made the match-up better, and even though Archfiend of Ifnir has been printed a while, people were slow to include him at 3-4 of (and some players, like PietroSas, always excluded him).
I like Tectonic Edge against Settle the Wreckage decks. I imagine it and the 2nd Ghost Quarter come in against Tron and *maybe* things like Lantern, Death's Shadow, others?
If I am going to a soft LGS I'll play fetchless so I don't shuffle and wear my cards so much, but if I want to win and think it will ever be difficult to do so, then I'm playing 6-7 fetchlands.
In the lists using Tormenting Voice, why not use Neonate? I've been playing the Kuisma list for a few weeks and missed Neonate as another Thug target and 1 CMC instant draw. I'm currently experimenting with this list:
Commander GUR Maelstrom Wanderer BWU Sydri, Galvanic Genius BGB Meren of Clan Nel Toth WGW Nazahn, Revered Bladesmith RRR Feldon of the Third Path WWW Heliod, God of the Sun
Insolent Neonate definitely isn't better than Life from the Loam. You have 5 slots to play whatever mix of Shriekhorn, Insolent Neonate, Tormenting Voice, Burning Inquiry, etc. and that's if you drop the Scourge Devil/Rally the Peasants/Driven to Despair slot.
Have you guys played against new UW spirits? The matchup feels very cold from Dredge's side; all their creatures fly, they outclass our creatures very fast, when they get double hexproof it is pretty much game over, they have counters ans graveyard hate for days in form of that new grvayard exile spirit, Rest in Peace, Wanderers and Quellers.
How should I approach this matchup or do I just agree that it is bad one and move on?
Does anybody still run Maelstrom Pulse or Engineered Explosives in their sideboard anymore? I remember when I played the deck about a year ago that some combination of those 2 cards were mainstream. Thoughts?

Spirits should be good match up, apply pressure early and block with Narcomoebas and Imps. It's quite easy to create situation when they can't attack becouse they will be dead in swingback.
About Maelstorm Pulse and Explolives - metagame is faster and faster and you don't have much time to wait for your response card for 3 turns.
I'm sure this has already been answered, but why play Dredge over Hollow One in Modern?
Not sure if this is a correct forum page to ask things like this but I will answer anyway. Dredge is much more resilient to spot removal and wrath effects. Dredge is usually also much better and stable at what it does (this includes mulliganing) and Dredge is grindier than Hollow Bois.
On the other hand Hollow One is more resilient to hate which in some cases hose the whole Dredge as deck (Rest in Peace, Grafdigger's Cage), Dredge isn't that aggressive and fast, Dredge at some level ignores what opponent is doing and hopes that recurring threats and huge Conflagrate are enough to keep opponent at bay meanwhile Hollow Bois has more interactive early approach in form of Lightning Bolts, Thoughtseizes and Burning Inquiries.
I am not an expert but I think this is more or less the situation between these two decks.
Buckle up for spoiler season! We have a return to the plane that started it all and a Narcomoeba reprint! There is sure to be a great enabler or payoff here.
Draw two cards.
Jump-start (You may cast this card from your graveyard by discarding a card in addition to paying its other costs. Then exile this card.)
We got an instant speed looting in the yard. Downside, it costs 4. Worth mentioning, though I think its realistically 1 mana off from being playable.

I’m new to the archetype, but it seems like a good catch all/ tempo play to me. Comply is great!
As far as actual play testing goes I’m not sure because I just ordered his list yesterday:)
On another note it’s crazy to see how high Bridgevine has risen as a competitive deck.
