I've seen enough cage and torpor orb around that I'm thinking that closer to 3 qasali pridemage in the 75 might be right these days. You really want to draw one.

Im running qasali, 2xabrupt, maestrom and rec sage side but still, ouch amirite?
Grafdiggers cage is definitely public enemy number 1 when it comes to hate cards. Then rest in peace. Then Topor Orb. Usually in these match-ups you are incidentally siding out some parts of the combo and some number of chords or companies (depending on the match-up) which makes it at least slightly less hurtful.
Not really, though as a rule I point out to my opponents at my LGS they don't have to concede to infinite life.
Which is good to remember for us, infinite life is just a deterrent rather than a win con. I've had a few matches against jund or others were they go 'ok' and proceed to draw-go hoping to mill me out.
That being said I run angelfeeder main so dropping redcap for hate has yet to ever be a problem for me.
Decks I've been running problems with are storm, ad nauseum, and of couse tron
With all of these hate cards, I think it might be best to run Archangel of thune and spike feeder combo.
Maybe so, but if your reason for running AngelFeeder is sideboard hate it makes no sense to run in maindeck, since there's no hate game 1.
I tried it maindeck and it didn't feel right to me, it didn't make it easier to combo game 1 since any deck that can disrupt the persist combo can disrupt the Angel combo as well, and Spike Feeder on its own is just a horrible card. I then moved it to the sideboard and felt it was alright in there, sometimes provided a surprise win since very few opponents saw it coming. Still, I feel like running two additional ways of getting rid of hate works just as well instead of the Angel Combo. Like, RIP shuts down half of our deck, and while you can still win if you manage to piece together the Angel combo with RIP on the field, just having more ways to get rid of it and move on with our original plan A / Plan B has worked a lot better for me.
Not to mention, Grafdigger's Cage, our worst hate card, hurts the Angel combo as well since you can't Chord for it anymore and you're stuck trying to assemble 2 one-ofs together naturally or lose. I'd much rather those two slots were cards that could kill Cage like more AD's, Maelstrom Pulse, Rec Sage, etc.

I just like to have angel in the main as a big beater that has synergy with the deck. Sometimes it is just nice to have a big flier. Also someone I have come to like spike feeder. He doesn't do anything well, but he has a lot of functions that I think he is acceptable as a 1-of.
Hey guys
new in the company deck
I never played much Modern, but how will they have some good events in Brazil will start playing
my choice is the logan mize list http://mtgtop8.com/event?e=12130&d=269585&f=MO
Why no voice? is not to good anymore?
with a few changes in the sideboard, -4 tidehollow sculler and add sin collector and ooze or qasali
And I get to the question Pharika is good?
As any sideboard guide in thid thread?

Voice is basically a meta call. If your LGS runs tons of controls, it shines. Otherwise, it is way better to run something else.
Pharika is indestructible (and ofter not a creature), so Jund will have problems to deal with it. But I dont think that worth to run it over scooze or anafenza.
As far as I remember there is an article on SCG about the deck and there is a very cool sb guide over there.
Hi everybody
I'm a long time CoCo player and a long time reader here on the forum, but this is my first post here. I'm playing the deck for the past year with a reasonable success in my meta. At first I was playing a list similar to Bosley's list from GP CHA 2015, but then moved to list with all CoCo-able creatures. I love the deck , and experimented with lots of sideboard cards to tweak the deck, and I can always tweak it more
Anyway, as the modern WMCQ is approaching I am in big dilemma, our meta is not big, and at WMCQ there will be 50 players max, and a lot of them know that me, and 2 more guys are playing the deck, and almost everybody is dedicating a few SB cards for us. I need an advice, should I go along and pack anti-hate, or move to Kiki-Chord and catch them by surprise?
On the other hand, what is ppls opinion on scullers vs voice in the side? Most of meta are aggro decks, a couple of controls decks, 2 combo elves and mirror, and a lot of affinity and burn
And thanks again for good CoCo read and nice community here on the forum,

Going to Kiki Chord won't work out the way you want. All the hate cards that hit us (Anger, Cage, RIP) hit them as well, and while Kiki technically doesn't need to use the graveyard to combo it still suffers a lot from GY hate just like we do. Still, this deck has had a big target on its back for the past few months and it's still doing reasonably well; hate hurts, of course, but you can work through it.
I don't know if Sculler should be compared to Voice, though. They are good in different matchups and do different things and wanting one doesn't mean you want/doesn't want the other. You should probably be running some form of hand disruption though, a combination of Thoughtseize/Sculler/Sin Collector is what you usually see. Voice is for when you are facing a lot of fair decks.
I been playing this deck for a long time, but never really try a Pharika in SB. Can anyone explain me why is she so good agains Jund/Junk? Also, what do you think about MB Voices? Are they good, or I shoud run something else?(My Quasali and Sooze are SB-ed).. And about SB discard, I preffer Thoughtseize. I been running Scullers but Im more satisfied with Seizes. What is your opinions about SB discard?

Pharika is good because against GB/x you don't expect to combo due to the amount of removal they have. To fight them you have to kind of go on their own turf and play a more midrange-value game yourself. Basically once you play her the opponent will have to fight through an army of 1/1 deathtouchers. Having your dead Eternal Witness trade with a Goyf is pretty good and is going to win you the long grindy game. I have moved to playing her and loved it. She also can't be removed by Jund which is pretty sweet, and against Junk you just don't let her turn into a creature so she can't get hit by Path to Exile. If she does then you can sacrifice your creatures to turn her off at instant speed. I short a 5/5 indestructable and unremovable creature that turns all your dead cards into ones that trade with theirs giving you 2-for-1's is preeeety good.
Voice is a meta call. If you don't have a ton of Blue then don't run them. I started by moving them to the sidebaord to focus more on the combo game 1, and have cut them entirely since.
Has anyone tried 3 ghost quarter in the board for tron/scape shift? It would be a clean swap with township, but might me too much space for too little impact, but I'll have to test it.

Thanks much for your answers. My list is pretty much the same, difference is that I run 2 Voices MB, and I run one Pontiff insted of one hierarch compared to your list. Also, mana base is almost same as yours, but in the heart is doing same function(run 2 Thicket's, 2 Canopy's and 2 Gavony's).. However I consider moving my Voices completly out of my 75 and run Sooze and Pridemage MB like you are doing.. Could you tell me your thoughts about Scullers over Thoughtseizes?

At that point you are better off playing 4 Fulminator Mages. They can be found off of Chord of Calling and Collected Company rather than drawn naturally, and they can be useful in other matchups too.

I used to run 3 Thoughtseize over 4 Tidehollow Sculler but have switched. The fact is that any matchup that you are bringing in Thoughtseize for can just be as well off with Sculler. If you take their removal then they are going to work extra hard to kill it and get it back meaning it takes the target off of the rest of your combo pieces letting you combo out easier. If they don't then they have less removal to stop you from comboing. It's a win-win in a way. You can play Scullers at instant speed through Chord and Company allowing for some good tricks on their draw steps, endsteps, etc, and you can do the sacrifice trick to permanently exile cards where just discarding doesn't work all too well against Snapcaster Mage and friends. Being a creature just provides a lot more play in our deck and if you are applying a lot of pressure then the small roadbump that Sculler gives suddenly becomes a lot bigger.
