I've had no issues whatsoever with Incubation/Incongruity. I either dig for a creature if I need one, or I hold it up as removal for opponent creatures. It's literally never been a dead or whiffed card for me, though admittedly I've only played ~10 matches (best of 3's) with the deck. That said, every list that has placed recently is playing this card, so it's obviously very good
@Arkaedrian: Coco and Incubation have whiffed WAY too often for me to ever rely on such effects again. I'm seeing alternate sources of card selection and it is already looking to be an edifying pursuit.
It’s close the list I built doesn’t play Karn. It doesn’t seem to need to. I played against jund, Urza and GW value. I went 2-1 loosing only to Jund after some strange board states. I just wasn’t able to draw the pay off card I had the combo. Anyway. I love the deck. Very very cool deck and so damn fast. I did turn two the jund player in game two. That was fun. Haha.
Turn 2 win is very viable for Devoted Druid decks that are built for it. The problem is discard + removal or counterspells + removal decks become unwinnable. Does your Karn shell reliably and easily beat Jund, Mardu, and UW Control? Or is he just more shenanigans?
Infinite life does indeed beat a lot of decks, but it also scoops to graveyard hate which is rampant. Also most of our good card advantage is graveyard based (Eternal Witness + goodies). I've been looking for something less graveyard dependent.
And I ran into Druid Karn. Does anyone have any experience with it?
4 Call, 4 Devastation, 4 Eldritch Evolution, and some number of Postmortem Lunge was known to be a strong shell. I'm not surprised to see it doing well.
20 lands and 7 mana dorks is a little iffy in my opinion. Squeezing in a Dryad Arbor is very high value when you're playing 4 Eldritch Evolution. Cutting the 8th dork over the 20th land (which I've seen people do) is probably correct.
Splashing red ONLY for a single Magus of the Moon maindeck seems super greedy to me.
Hi guys i am quite new to this thread, i have just recently started to play devoted druid combo, since my jeskai-delver felt weak. The deck is really awesome and i really enjoy it. I am sorry if it was already asked but my question is, why is Ranger-Captain of Eos more played than duskwatch recruiter? Thank you for your answer.

Both creatures are tutor targets that get a Walking Ballista into our hand, but Duskwatch doubles as a slow CA engine, while Ranger-Captain can muff opposing noncreature spells for a turn by blowing himself up. Given how fast the Modern meta currently is, I like Ranger-Captain's benefit more right now.
Could stoneforge mystic bring something to this deck, since we already play giver of runes and many creatures? Maybe as plan B ? 2 equipments could be batterskull and the sword that returns a creature to our hand... (sword of light and shadow)
Way way back I posted quite a few deck lists running Lightning Greaves. With the switch to Eld's Call over Collected Company, running a few equipment is now possible. I'm going to try out a few Stoneforge, 1 Greaves, and one Batterskull. I'll see how it goes.
I figure getting a greaves into play allows us to stick a Druid permanently except for some cards out of Jund, but that's already not a great matchup.

This is a Pro-Tour list (holy ***** its going to the pro tour ?!?!?), so the SB shows distinct cards, but not numbers of each.
It's super greedy, but I suppose Karn gives it resiliency and flexibility that many Druid Combo lists lack.

That list seems shockingly close to a Freed Leyline Tooth and Nail deck I built a while back, but I gotta disagree with no maindeck infinite mana sink OHKO creature (I use Walking Ballista, but Carnage Tyrant also works, and with that list, even Thalia's Lancers will do). I don't think Finale of Devastation for Birds of Paradise always kills fast enough.
