Hope everyone had a great weekend. I have two questions for you guys.
1) I understand how to post on here but I don't know how to make a deck list with the blue hyperlink. Can oneof you guys just tell me how to do that.
2) how do we deal with control. I've been seeing a lot of burn and a lot of control decks. Also do we even care about stoneforge ? Do we have an answer for it?

Are you talking about how to post a deck here; or do you mean the link to the decklist from an outside source (like tappedout, etc.)?
Post a deck here. I understand typing it out I just don't know how to make the car names blue so people can look at them. Like how you post your deck lists curdbro.

Oh! Ok.
There are little boxes at the top of these messages..some look like the back of a magic card. They will give you the formatting automatically and you just type between the brackets. If you put your pointer over them they will say "card", "cards" and "deck". You can also format it yourself
For a card, you want to do:
[c] card name [/c ] (I only put the space on the second part so it would show up here...there should be no space between the "c" and the closed bracket.)
For decks you want:
[deck] Then list the entire deck [/deck ] (again no space between the word "deck" and the final closed bracket).
It’s been a while since I looked at my Walker Devotion lists, I’m sure some could be updated by now. The new Garruk works perfectly with the older G/B Transform Garruk. The most important thing for the Walker decks I found, is if they could protect themselves, by either making tokens or killing stuff, and the new Garruk does both.

I am a huge fan of Wolfbriar elemental and Garruk...so i Of course love your idea ;). I’ve been looking at Garruk Tribal which inevitably leads to. Lot of wolves as well.
Has anyone else tried out Nissa Who Shakes the World? She has been great for me. I think she is likely better in decks wanting to jump from 5-mana to 10+; but I have been pleasantly surprised by her power (if I’m being honest; I was not super high on the card prior to playing it).
_______
I was thinking...if we stay mono-green (or close to it); I may try Pendlehaven as well. With as much Wrenn and Six running around as I’ve seen; I do wonder if it would come into play often enough for use.
I haven't tried Nissa Who Shakes the World in modern, but I've played with her a bunch in standard and agree that she's better than she looks.
If Once upon a time could hit Utopia Sprawl it would revolutionize the ramp core for creature-heavy versions. I think it's still worth looking at; in hands without a t1 accelerator, but with Once Upon a Time you should have pretty good odds of finding one; 5 is really deep, and you know you don't have any in the first 7 you drew. If we could replace dorks with Once... it would let us run more threats, and paying 2 to dig for a wincon later is no big deal. Not hitting sprawl is a bummer, though.

I totally agree. In creature heavy builds I would 100% be playing Once Upon a Time. Being able to hit a land, Nykthos, Arbor Elf when you need it, or finisher is HUGE. Between Oath and Once; a creature-based Devotion deck would be amazingly smooth (which is very important for ramp decks). The problem becomes that pretty much every card that isn’t Oath and Once has to be a creature at that point
Once Upon a Time seems to be best in (a) big mana decks (as the Downside of the 2-cmc is mitigated) and (b) and deck that has specialty lands (like Nykthos) they want to hit and/or a large sample of creatures. This can fit a creature-based Devotion deck extremely well. I bought a playset when it was spoiled.
Once Upon a Time is one of my favorite cards spoiled so far. I actually think it will be best in very unfair combo decks, like some sort of Modern Belcher, Neoform etc. I don’t think cutting lands for Once is what green devotion wants to be doing.

Well the Magic Stream said we will be getting a GGG Legendary creature at rare! Fingers crossed it’s a pushed card 🤞🏻 . I’d love if it was just a 3-drop...so let’s hope.
They did preview a GGGG hybrid card today that is a 4/4 that draws for every card with CMC 5 or more...but that seems win-more to me (if you’re a sting a bunch of 5+ cmc cards you’re likely already in pretty good shape).
Wolf / Garruk tribal looks super fun. Also worth noting that Oath of Gideon lets you ultimate both the new Garruk and Garruk Wildspeaker immediately after casting them. Abzan tokens/Walkers could be a thing.
I think he's interesting but doesn't do enough for traditional devotion unless you're in a counters build, or as you mentioned, playing a monogreen aggro deck that wants to keep a low curve.
That being said I think he could be fun in a Hardened Scales build with Endless One, Stonecoil Serpent, Pelt Collector & Avatar of the Resolute.
So I maybe way off here on my thoughts on Yorvo so please forgive my lack of current meta/ play knowledge. But a big creature without any kind of evasion ( like flying, trample, shadow, ect) means that he can be chumped blocked all day no matter how big he gets. However I do have to say it would be super funny to put like 1 fling into the deck to to toss him at someone.

No, your instincts are reasonable. I think you’re right. I think the only Devotion deck that will use it is Stompy (a big cheap creatures are their thing ). I just was I recreated in starting a conversation about the card given it is likely a plant for the Standards devotion deck when Theros is released.
With a Nissa WSTW you can trigger it twice in one turn...You can with Garruk too; but at that point you already have a lot of mana. It’s main payoff is ramping you by 1 additional mana (sometimes two).
This and Once Upon a time is making Primeval Titan look very good (and Craterhoof for that matter) look like a pretty strong option. May just need to all go to straight "ramp into fatties" now that there is enough smoothing and ramping.

Remember back in the day when we were both on an Abzan Walker Tokens/+1/+1 counters deck?
I wonder if/how the new Garruk slots into it.
Karn and Nissa Who Shakes the World have been great (and it seems unlikely anything will be better)...but i May sleeve it up again

Maybe we can all combine it to a Planeswalker + Wolf Devotion Deck.
My quick thoughts about this:
Garruk Relentless make Wolf Tokens.
Arlinn, Voice of the Pack and Arlinn Kord produce Wolfes , too.
The Wolf Lord Nightpack Ambusher is viable imho, and Huntmaster of the Fells is a well known value maschine. (There is is another Lord Mayor of Avabruck not sure if viable, more spicy is Wren's Run Packmaster, deathtouch is nice, and a great ManaSink, but need an Elf to cast) )
Wolfbriar Elemental is a decent choice in a Devotion Deck and even better with Wolf synergies.

Normally just a large creature wouldn’t be that great...but that is a lot of power for 3-cmc and a lot of Devotion.
Stompy is gonna love it.
Got a bit of a typo in your link, Curdbros.
