The Gifts list I tried has merely been an experiment to find the most streamlined Craterhoof combo package. I wanted to maximize creatures in the deck to make sure that a Turn 4 Craterhoof was almost always lethal. That meant removing non-creature aspects of Devotion and replacing them with similar creature counterparts (i.e. Oath of Nissa + Utopia Sprawl + Garruk). With all mana dorks, one or two pieces of removal isn't going to faze the deck very much, similar to how elves *****s out a ton of dudes.
I don't own Noble Hierarch, otherwise she would be in the deck. Also Joraga Treespeaker was an experiment, it ended up being a little clunky. Lotus Cobra was a lightning bolt magnet, so I don't have a lot to say about that. I removed Arbor Elf as I felt it wasn't as good without Utopia Sprawl...but perhaps it is fine as a dork. I was playing some number of Botanical Sanctums and Nykthos, which led me to worry about the untap ability, to be fair.
I think a more cleaned up version I would play if I had everything would be:
Acidic Slime is only good as a tempo play. And without larger dudes to beat down, a single turn isn't going to do a lot, so I took it out. Jadelight is decent to me, I thought about it originally but didn't have time to throw it in. Noble replacing Joraga. Adding a couple Garruks to also allow for potential overrun win-con.
I'll also echo thoughts on Ruric Thar. That big boi is a powerhouse!

Where is the unburial rites in your list?
Do you think this is still a green devotion list? Not using Nykthos/Arbor Elf/Utopia Sprawl?
My Favorite cards spoiled are: Incubation // Incongruity: Gives digging potential (as we always struggle with having the wrong mix of enablers and payoff) and instant speed removal, something rare in green or blue. However I dont like it that much in the devotion archetype. Oath of Nissa fits so much better and we dont want to dilute the deck down with too many non permament cards.
Prime Speaker Vannifar: A great payoff with a combo potential to finish off the game on the spot. Pairing her with Kiora, Master of the Depths, Scryb Ranger, Kiora's Follower, Bounding Krasis makes her go insane. Obviously you still need to get her out and she needs to survive for 1 turn if she's cast fairly (Not goryo's vengeance style).
The problem is imo that we need to use Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker for the combo. A card that is uncastable and its terrible to draw it.
Maybe the devotion shell is not right for her but we are players that like to abuse the untapping of stuff.
And with cards like Fauna Shaman, which synergizes so well with untapping effects as well, we have multiple ways to tutor up stuff or turn dorks into game winning threats.
If anyone knows a good combo based off creatures in blue and green, let me know.
I'm in the process of building a simic deck with her by using the ramp aspect of devotion but with counterspells. Enabling to deploy creatures while still untapping and holding up counterspells. Prophet of Kruphix style.
But that has nothing to do with devotion so I just shut up
Woops, Unburial should be in there. And no, it's not a devotion deck. It's a Who Let the Hoof out deck. And really, isn't that what most Devotion decks really aim to do anyway?

I really love the crazy Brews around the Big Mana Decks. i believe somewhere in the future one of the shenanigans Decks lead to competiv version. Who Let the Hoof out (the right Soundtrack for this deck)
In a Counters Devotion matters deck , i really like to add this infinite mana Combo. Incubation Druid + Vigean Graftmage
, but hell i don't know i get viable version to abuse all the puzzle pieces .
I will say that after playing with a bunch of Elvish Visionary-type cards, they are a great tool to have against aggressive decks. Part of the issues I've had with traditional devotion in the past is with board wipes and singular creature removal...but if each dork replaces itself, those issues are mitigated. Playing a ton of them works well with the Craterhoof as well.
I do think that if they ever print a [GG - 1/1 Draw a card] creature, that will lowkey go a long way to making a Craterhoof devotion plan more resilient. Also, I plan to play around with Frilled Mystic when RNA comes out.
Hey all....my buddy is here (and with the weather the way it is here; he may be here for a while He is working on the images (sizing them so they are small enough) and I will post in a few hours when the pics are done. It is the last item (save a few links, but that can be fixed while the Primer is live). I'll post in a couple hours when it is up.

I haven't heard a lot about that combo...but that is crazy. Something we could look into (As Incubation Druid is good by itself and playing a 1-of of the other Combo piece could be an "oops I win" play. Interesting indeed.

I totally agree. I've always been a fan of Visionary and many times have said I wish they would print a GG version of it (it could even be 0/2 for all I care ) It would solidify an overrun deck. I like it for all of the reasons you mention and because I often find the play of 1-2-1 better than 1-3 (as spot removal becomes less damaging).
I've liked Carven Caryatid in my Combo decks in the past for the same reason (I've tended to find that Wistful Selkie can be tough to cast on curve with four Nykthos and often one other land like Kessig Wolf Run)...the only issue with it is that it is not great with Cratherhoof. The biggest (in my opinion) killer of Devotion decks in general tend to be board wipes. We have to build a board, and green tends to be so creature heavy that even if you play a good amount of Walkers and/or enchantments you still get 3-for-1'd or more. The Cantrip-Creatures mitigate this in a big way while also playing right in to what Devotion wants to do (fill up the board with green symbols).
@CurdBros
I understand the primer is almost done and would possibly include what I’m looking for but I’d like to get a base for building... I recall devotion superfiends being kicked around a while back... I can’t seem To find a list... I was wondering if you had a list for GW superfriends devotion? If it’s a big hassle no worries! Thanks in advance tho!
Yessir. I will post the list ASAP this evening or the morning (trying to post the primer now so I'm focused on that till its up but will make sure to post it within 24 hours at the latest).

All good man! Primer takes priority! Post up the superfriends list whenever, no worries!
Small update to my Tooth and Nail list (now Giant-tribal?). I replaced Nykthos with Raging Ravine because I've felt that Nykthos is a bit win-more in this type of deck and Ravinge makes Primeval Titan better in slower match ups. I cut Pact and the tutor targets for Inferno Titans and with initial testing they seem good. Fertile Grounds replaced Voyaging Satyrs for being harder to disrupt and they make Inferno Titans easier to cast. I cut the Lightning Bolts from the main because now with Ballistas and Inferno Titans I have enough removal anyways.

That is CRAZY. The Domri Chaos Bringer list I've been playing plays 3 copies of both Primeval Titan and Inferno Titan (thanks to a suggestion made here!). Great minds think alike (and sometimes not so great minds like mine do too )
P.S. My bud Casey (the guy here over a few days back is emailing me the "updated" photos (he used photoshop to make them the right size as apparently my paint wasn't good enough for him) and I will update the primer.
It’s reslly just Titan Devotion. Domri, Chaos Bringer acts as a way to dig to your titans and give them haste (while casting them on turn 3).
I’ve been toying with the 3-drop slot (Courser, Caryatid, or Tracker...). Caryatids are the fastest but the others can generate more value in longer games (and have more synergy with Prime Time). It will just take testing.
As a fellow T&N player, I would suggest looking at Rhythm of the Wild in the board. I’ve found it to be insane against anyone trying to play a fair game of magic
Thanks for the suggestion! Haven't felt an urgent need for more cards in those kind of match ups but I'll try it if that becomes the case. What kind of list you are running nowadays?

Rhythm is only going to be good vs countermagic.

Always wear protection kids, sleeve up your deck.
LEGACY: Soldier Stompy WW // Blue Stompy UU // Fit Variants BGRW // Sol Land Brews BGRUWC MODERN: Pure Pili-ness GU // Red Devotion RR // Green Devotion Variants GRWUG // U/G Emerge CGU // Lots and Lots of Brews BGRUWC
Domri doesn't seem strong enough to me, but giving creatures haste is sweet. Definitely good with Titans.
I haven't played much Green Devotion lately. How are you guys doing vs. the meta? Seems like this deck would struggle vs. Izzet Phoenix.
Has anyone considered Ravager Wurm. I think that before I completely dismissed it, but it could be decent in certain situations. I've considered Territorial Allosaurus before, so I thought I'd mention Ravager.
