I will be playing the origianl list i posted last page tomorrow before i try the "all in" Version you are running Pizzap
So i went 3-1 Lat night at my modern Tuesday Event..
GAME 1
2-0 Living End/Goblin Charbelcher Mix
Turn 4 hit for 26 they didnt see it coming
Sided in Nihil Spellbomb - Cracked at perfect time won turn 4
GAME 2
2-1 BR Burn with Vexing Devil / Claim // Fame combo
Game 1 - lost by turn 4
Game 2 Won by turn 4
Game 3 Really Long Game - i was at 5 he was at 17 i had blocker he had two swiftspears - i had gone through 30+ cards and hadnt seen one Vengevine or Hollow one. All my one drops and 2 drops just kept blocking till i hit a Life Goes On of of Insolent Neonate after blocking. Then finnaly hard cast first vengevine, Then drew another, then drew a hollow one... GAME
GAME 3
1-2 UWB control Gideon / Colonade / Path / Push / Counterspells / Snapcaster
Game 1 got him to one - but i topdecked 3 lands and then he stabilized and then killed me with Gideon and colonade
Game 2 - On the Play i mountain, F. Looting, Discard two Vengevines, Play Two hollow Ones, Attack for 8 turn one! Pass, He plays Plains, Pass, I attack for 16 he paths one, Take 12 - GG
Game 3 - he plays rest in peace turn 2, still Got him to One and he Gideons make an emblem, Through my blood moon he spreading seas two of his lands to be able to cast cryptic command bounce my moon and Cast gideon. He was tapped out and if i could have drawn a bolt or a vengevine or a temur battle rage with my swiftspear out, but no.
GAME 4
2-0 GR TRON
Game one kept opening hand of 2 swiftspear, BTE, Bushwacker, Looting, 2 Lands, - Drew another Swiftspear - Killed him turn 4
Game two kept another creature heavy hand knowing its tron... he falters on lands i kill him turn 6 or 7 even after he O.Stone.. I had a Neonate in hand, Drew a bushwacker, Cast both triggered two Vines in the yard.
Even After Doing Good I still feel like i dont have enough discard, so i'm gonna try your version Pizzap Next week.
Also i did play 17 Lands and it was Fine I never felt like i was mana Screwed, though twice i did feel like "really 4 lands in hand and Faithless looting into two more lands and then topdecking a land" you gotta be kidding me feeling
SB: 2 Ancient Grudge
SB: 2 Blood Moon
SB: 2 Destructive Revelry
SB: 2 Domri Rade
SB: 3 Feed the Clan
SB: 2 Lightning Axe
SB: 2 Ravenous Trap
Noteable changes were I put in Flameblade Adept instead of swiftspear because it just seems like a more powerful card and I don't card too much about the haste that swiftspear has.
Match 1 vs Bant Eldrazi (1-0)
Game 1: He conceded on turn 3, I looted into double vengevine on turn 2 and turn 3 cast Goblin Guide and Adept and he didn't have an answer.
Game 2: Lost
Game 3: Turn 2 16 power thanks to double hollow one, Mandril's and vengevine.
Match 2 vs Storm (2-0)
Game 1: I durdled a bit but so did he, I ended up getting a hollow one + Mandril's and vengevine and kept him off his mana reducer long enough to lethal with Temur Battle Rage the following turn.
Game 2: Ravenous trap all star, he cast gifts Eot (i could've used trap after gifts but decided to wait and be greedy) on his turn he started storming off with rituals etc, when he went to flashback PiF he had 1 card in hand, and I got him with the good ole trap. Was able to beat him down shortly after.
Match 3 vs BG Tron (3-0)
Game 1: I kept what shouldve been a easy mulligan but If i drew faithless looting it would've been bonkers (i didnt draw looting) but adept kept pinging him along with a Neonate, he got to land a O-Stone and while he was at 7 life instead of popping the o-stone he cast wurmcoil and said go, i untapped and Become immensed the adept (thank base god for Menace)
Game 2: He keeps a risky 1 lander with Cage, I put 12 power on turn 3 and he conceded.
At this point im 3-0 and the other 3-0 had to go so we split.
I did get a lot of games in against UW control pre sideboard and won I believe 5-2 or 5-3 in matches.
Overall the deck performed great and I understand I had some great openers and maybe ran a little lucky, but Flameblade Adept makes the deck a lot better IMO than swiftspear would, and I had a blast playing it -.
Thanks for reading!
Has anyone tried Legion Loyalist out? Seems like a 1-drop that does pretty much everything: gives trample, first strike, jumps over tokens, helps trigger Vengevine and is a great finisher with Become Immense after a board sweeper due to haste, I am going to test it but it seems very good:
Has anyone tested rowdy crew or Hazoret in this build? There has to be a sweet spot between these variations, when it clicks it's phenomenal. (To be clear, neither of the above cards are being suggested to reach best version)
my only loss was from the FREAKING MIRROR. Well... not exactly mirror, it was the SuperVengevine deck (Burning-Tree Emissary + Reckless Bushwhacker) that had an insane draw and won on turn 2.
Hehe that's what my deck does Though I haven't played a league with it in a couple weeks I think, my last post with the videos was just games.
On-Topic, I'll be streaming this list next wednesday:

Pretty sweet Death's Shadow + Hollow One and Vengevine deck posted on MTGO Modern Challenge today with the Burning Inquiry and Call to the Netherworld. What does everyone think about it?

I played against a similar deck, but it is quite a lot slower than the Gruul version. In exchanche I think it has more grinding potential than Gruul. I saw such decks before. I am not a huge fan of Death's Shadow in this deck without the option to trample through or take out potential chump blockers. There is a chance you lose from decks such as Storm just because you couldn't deliver the 20 damage in time. I am totally on board of Flameblade Adept and Burning Inquiry of course .
Meanwhile I didn't change my 75. After 85 Friendly League matches (65-20) I took it to the competitive Leagues now and I am 5-3 thus far. To be continued...
Sorry I couldn't post a link, I was posting from my phone and didn't take the opportunity to post the list. I agree it seems a little slow but I do like that it can grind better. I think the deck just wants the explosiveness aspect though but it's really too glass-cannon feeling to me, but that's the risk of playing a Vengevine deck I guess. Flamebade Adept is really sweet with Burning Inquiry.
"I am disillusioned enough to know that no man's opinion on any subject is worth a damn unless backed up with enough genuine information to make him really know what he's talking about."

^that deck is a bit more "all in" and graveyard sensitive than mine. I don't like the Cathartic Reunion though.
After 4 5-0s in the Friendly League I just went now also 5-0 in the Competitive League, so there is a chance it gets posted as well. With 82-23 in the Friendly Leagues and 13-7 in the Competitve Leagues there is nothing left to say about it as I don't think I will change this deck anytime soon.
Pizzap I really need more help when to use Goblin lore and Burning Inquiry? What are you doing turns 1 and 2 if you dont have the nuts opening hand?
Lore has been really tricky for me. In fact in one game alone the three Random discard were super painful all three times. i lost that game, each time i cast it i was thinking Cathartic reunion would be better. In fact for two mana i would rather draw three then discard three as long as i could choose.
oh yeah, that was me that had a couple 5-0s with that list (give or take a few sb cards). went 5-2 in the challenge with some spicey glorious end tech. won 2 matches in the challenge ( opp taps out for thragtust (ponza) i end turn, then win... and vs ad nauseum, with lotus coming off suspend, end turn and win)
kinda like thoughtseize black splash for SB. helps in the bad matches, but also, speed is our friend in the bad matches, t3 wins are hard to beat.... so im not sure.
burning-tree is nice and explosive, and easier to trigger vengevine with (i struggle sometimes without it and bushwhacker) ... but i was thinking that just playing better cards might be better than all in synergy.
Inquiry has been great for me, almost every time i cast it. Weird how its the opposite for us. My opponent has been hurt by Inquiry more then it hurts me.

Pizzap, do you have a link to your twitch account? I'd love to see some more games with the deck being played.

EDIT: I just double checked, and your 5/2 MTGO list on the front page was my old Daily Stomper list
