After trying out a more budget version of this deck, I can honestly say that unless you have the Voices/Nobles/fetches, this thing is an inconsistent nightmare to pilot. I have 2 Thalia, Heretic Cathar in my deck, and I can honestly say that I've been impressed. She really slows down your opponent, from making blocking worse, slowing down their non-basics, and providing a nice defensive body. Highly recommended.

"To make peace with the forest, make peace with me." -Multani, to Urza
It is in page 10 of this Primer (kinda old), it was talked about back then and I played it a LOT and loved it, it is way better the more Midrange decks in the meta (as with Jund) as top decking dorks is awful, it also has better G1 vs non interactive decks/combo, it completely removes the mana dorks in favor of cheap interaction, Fatal Push, Abrupt Decay, Iok, Thoughtseize, etc... the creature package from 2 cmc and up is mainly the same.
Ageless I played wilted abzan at GP Charlotte back during twin era. I'm tuning the deck currently for Hartford but curious about some of your numbers on cards. For example 4 rhino why is that? Also what is better than rest in peace against combo and gy strategies? Something I was surprised you were missing was smiter. Fatal push is another debate I have regarding if it's required. My final piece is do you think archangel avacyn is an option main deck.
The all star card is Thalia, Heretic Cathar, I think I won the 3 games because of her on turn 2 or 3, it delays all the fecthes and creature based decks
Thinking of trying to brew with History of Benalia and having a little Knight sub-theme. I was already heavy on the Gideon, Ally of Zendikars because they provide such a quick clock as well as grinding with the best of them. Gideon makes knight tokens. Wilt-Leaf Liege is a knight of course. I’d probably use 4 of my 3-drop slots for Knight of the Reliquary. She’s a beast, adds utility, gets the double boost from WLL, and fits the knight theme which means she gets the buff from History of Benalia. I’d still run 6 if not 7 dorks because slamming that awesome 3-drop on turn-2 is super important. I’ll make a list soon. I think it’s gonna work very nicely though. I think the value of History into Gideon will ***** on any fair deck, and between having white for SB cards and a pretty insane clock, we ought to have a fair shot against combo/unfair decks. I still need to figure out how much I want to dip into B though.
I honestly think the deck is well positioned. We can go wider and fatter than humans for sure in the long game and possibly even be “The Beatdown” against them with the right draws. WLL is great against Hollow One’s Burning Inquiry. I really think we have game against the field right now.
Also, why don’t I ever see Scryb Ranger in Knight of the Reliquary decks? The card provides for some stupid (as in awesome) plays, and blocks Mantis Rider like a champ.
I went 4-1, matchups were:
Burn (2-0)
Jund (2-0)
Affinity (2-0)
Infect (0-2)
UW Control (2-1)
Some changes to the deck I'd consider:
-1 Razorverge Thicket, +1 Horizon Canopy - Some extra flood insurance
-1 Zealous Persecution, +1 Liliana, the Last Hope - Liliana is a very strong card, but costing BB is a slight concern
-2 Eidolon of Rhetoric, +2 Damping Sphere - I don't own this card yet but maybe it gives us a chance vs Tron

Do you like Green midrange decks? Check out my My Magic Blog!
I've been playing with a toolbox style version of the deck recently, using Tireless Trackers for card advantage and silver-bullet sideboard creatures to play a more mid-range focused deck.
Shalai should be an automatic include for this type of deck, either you draw her when you don't need her and have a reasonable flyer to beat with, or you can pull her up through evolution to prevent decks like burn, red prison, or mardu pyro from disrupting your game plan. The hexproof often proves beneficial in games where you wouldn't of immediately considered it, such as preventing Shaman of the Pack from nuking you Vs Elves.
Longer slower games also benefit from her 4GG ability, which can often be used to protect her from big damage spells like Chandra's -3 or Walking Ballista.
I've been having a lot of success with Cataclysmic Gearhulk also, being able to tutor up a boardwipe vs decks like elves and humans has been a lot of fun.
My current deck is pretty similar to the Fraser Phillips one I posted before, still testing to see how resilient it is and if it's any better Vs combo decks.
On my list I dont know if it is an auto include, because I lose to combo decks most of the time, and to not lose I have to rush. Shalai is awesome to protect your combo or some specific matchups, but he/she is slow
So I've been playing this deck for a little bit now, which from my previous deck has trended away from full aggro into a mid-rangish style dependent on bringing sideboard cards and tutoring them up with eldritch evolution.
Overall I'm pretty satisfied, whilst the deck doesn't quite feel super competitive, post-sideboard it seems favorable in a decent range of match-ups. By moving away from aggro I've greatly improved the odds against decks that previously felt unwinnable, these generally being combo-based such as Saheeli or Druid (my local meta has a Saheeli player I always find myself playing against, note the Tocatli Honor Guard in my sideboard).
The sacrifice for this is playing a generally slower deck, which has reduced my consistency against normally straight forward match-ups like Burn, especially in Game 1 before sideboarding. I am enjoying the extra gas Tracker can provide though.
The Angel / Feeder combo is pretty iffy. I rarely get the combo going since I'm usually favoring other cards when using Eldritch Evolution, but in some matches it can provide an easy win-con. Angel of Thune is a pretty solid card by itself with Finks and Rhino providing extra triggers but Spike Feeder obviously is a mostly do nothing card by itself. If I cut the combo I would probably swap the pieces for another Rhino or Wilt-Leaf.
Cataclysmic Gearhulk can be pretty clutch against decks like Elves or Humans, there's something very satisfying about wiping the board of your opponents creatures whilst also slamming a fat body down onto the table.
Shalai can be a slow/dead card in some match-ups but overall she is just too useful against lots of strategies for me to replace her with something else. Although it doesn't happen often I love getting Worship down with Sigarda, since this completely locks a lot of targeted damage strategies out of the game.
I've been looking to build a new deck, slightly different than my other ones, and realized I already had quite a bit for this deck. However, it doesn't quite feel right in the default state. I'll explain:
The way that I've approached deckbuilding now is to figure out exactly how to prevent the opponent from playing the game. Every deck does this (and I've talked about this in other places to great extent), and this one seems to have mostly worked hopepunish the opponent for playing the game. As we all know, hoping isn't necessarily going to work if the opponent is decent. They can just avoid casting cards or using effects that would punish them, meaning that we are then playing fair fatties.
So, I started off with the obvious, the way that Emracool list looks in the primer. Discard spells are, of course, one of the best ways to prevent the opponent from playing the game. So I put in six discard spells main.
Next, I wanted to kind of keep the core of Voice of Resurgence, Loxodon Smiter, and Wilt-Leaf Liege. They're still pretty good beaters with great upsides. They don't necessarily prevent the opponent from playing, but they offer a great clock on top of the "punish" bits.
In working with other decks (Lantern, Mono Blue Tron, and UW Eldrazi Taxes), I found that the ability to play at the same speed as the opponent or faster is key to maintaining control of the game. This seems like a no-brainer, of course, but it's something that I wanted to keep in mind in designing my version of this deck. Again, the discard spells are great for this, but to get the next stage of the game for the deck, I would need some sort of mana acceleration for the creatures. Thus, Birds of Paradise. Again, this is already pretty stock, for the most part, but I wanted to specify not only what cards/core I wanted to go with, but exactly why.
Last, the way to prevent the opponent from playing the game to the greatest extent possible. Playing more fatties isn't necessarily going to do it. So I decided to go with the silver bullet route with Eldritch Evolution. Again, that's pretty stock in many lists. So this leaves the silver bullets themselves. So, here's my list:
Some of the creatures seem straightforward in their choices.
Tocatli Honor Guard being great for Humans, Merfolk, Taxes (Flickerwisp & Eldrazi Displacer effects), and so on. It does nonbo with some of our other creatures, but that can be played around, and in some matchups won't matter because of how effect this is at shutting down opponents' decks.
Gaddock Teeg being great against cards like Karn, Jace, Teferi, Supreme Verdict, Cryptic Command, etc.
Qasali Pridemage is already discussed and in many lists. I wanted at least one artifact/enchantment removal main, so I chose this because of the exalted and because it's great with Liege.
Anafenza, the Foremost is great against Dredge and many other decks that try to put creatures in their graveyard. Again, a great beater for the cost and great with Liege.
Athreos, God of Passage is good for the grindy games, wherein the opponent will have to start paying life to not just get ground out. Particularly also good at forcing the opponent to pay life to get rid of any silver bullet creature they might be able to somehow kill.
Doran, the Siege Tower allows us to swing under Bridge, but turns out Birds into flying threats as well. Again, not a bad threat for the cmc.
Orzhov Pontiff helps manage the decks that plan on relying on tokens, like Mardu Pyromancer and other Lingering Souls decks. Also pretty good against Affinity.
Linvala, Keeper of Silence turns off lots of Affinity effects, as well as Vizier combo and Griselbrand combo.
Shalai, Voice of Plenty helps keep our creatures safe from targeted removal, but is also great against Burn and things like Liliana of the Veil's ultimate.
Cataclysmic Gearhulk is another card that's great against the go-wide decks, like Humans, Merfolk, Mardu Pyromancer, but also has great game against Affinity and Lantern.
The sideboard is a continuation of the theme, in that cards are sided out/in according to the matchup. This way, we still have our beatdown creatures of Voice of Resurgence, Loxodon Smiter, and Wilt-Leaf Liege, but also have a slew of silver bullets we can search for with Eldritch Evolution, sacrificing one of our beatdown creatures if need be.
I'm not convinced the deck is perfectly refined quite yet. I think that there are probably other silver-bullet cards that might work better than the ones I've included.
Unfortunately havn't had much time to really test the deck out. Have played a few games but mostly ended up just playing the beatdown using the usual assortment of Finks and Rhino / Wilt-Leaf.
Will try and test the deck out some more, but at the moment i'm busy getting some experience with Hardened Scales Affinity.
Edit:In response to thnkr: I think your running a few cards mainboard that should really be moved to the sideboard e.g. Anafenza the foremost. She's a value card but doesn't do enough to warrant space in the core deck. Same with Orzhov Pontiff andf Linvala, these cards are too situational for the mainboard.

Feels like I only have enough control to prevent one or two combo pieces sticking, but eventually they find the cards.
Has anyone ever tried Worship in this deck? Might make a nice one of...

Just posting an update to keep this thread alive. Made some small changes to the deck to try and enable some incidental infinite life combos using Viscera Seer, Kitchen Finks, Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit, and Archangel Of Thune.
Edit: In response to thnkr: I think your running a few cards mainboard that should really be moved to the sideboard e.g. Anafenza the foremost. She's a value card but doesn't do enough to warrant space in the core deck. Same with Orzhov Pontiff andf Linvala, these cards are too situational for the mainboard.
