For those curious about the green splash, I figured it would be wise since it doesnt have as many counters, that the deck have efficient ways to deal with things like leyline of sanctity, which is important since there is so much burn in the deck.

My doubts are on whether playing or not the Mutagenic Growth since I already have a lot of "lowering life" cards like the shocks, fetches and painlands (on the other hand a very well timed mutagenic have won me many and many games), and on playing a Cryptic Serpent instead of the 18th land.

playtest 1 vs "Puresteel Paladin w/0 casting equipment," 1-1
no SB
notes: if i bolt the paladin before he equips, his draw engine is gone. so leave bolt mana open for his turn 2 onward.
this player went 3-0, then drew round 4 into top 4 cutoff.
playtest 2 vs "B/R hand/grave," 2-1
no SB
notes: if i vapor snag the griselbrand he tries to put into play from hand/grave, he's done. he admitted his deck performs inconsistently.
r1 vs Elves, 0-2
SB none
notes: i punted game 1 by not being more aggressive and emptying my hand into prowess before he threw out his army of blockers next turn. he splashed black for the drain elf and abrupt decay.
r2 vs "GW Dubious Challenge," 2-0
SB none
notes: it's basically a reanimator style deck only the fatties come from his deck. he made a pile of griselbrand and a blinking creature. i'm privy to what he's doing, so i took the blinking creature. then vapor snagged griselbrand gg.
r3 vs Bant Humans, 2-0
SB none
notes: opponent bothered me b/c he was trying to get coached by the other players and even the judge to help him make optimal plays. basically, he had aether vial out and was trying to stack champion counters by stacking the effects and resolving them. problem was, he wouldn't officially commit to any line of play before asking everyone around him what to do. guy tried everyone's patience until i just told him, "do what you want in any order already!" he even lied about which creature he hard casted and which he vial'd in response. i got respect from everyone for being cooperative w/him.
r4 vs E.Tron, 1-2
SB +3 moon/+3 rejection/+3 smash, -4 growth/-4 bolt/-1 lavamancer
notes: i crushed him game 1. game 2, his chalice on one shut me down. game 3, i drew all 3 smashes w/no good artifact beyond his one chalice for 1. he stabilized at 3 life and won. never seen blood moon ='(
summary: deck has potential but is very unforgiving of combat math error. you need to know when to abuse prowess and when to wait. got lots of complements!
new SB:
4 ravenous trap (for storm's remand. storm sides shattering spree vs relic of progenitus.)
4 spellskite

summary: game i won was close. games i lost were blowouts. losing interest in my build.
I'd quit modern shortly after the Twin ban, and only recently picked it up. I bought into Lantern Control, but I didn't have the sideboard complete, so I assembled UR delver, a deck I was very familiar with, out of some spare cards.
The FNM was a short 3 round, 8 player FNM. I went 2-1, beating Jeskai Control and Ponza, and losing to Burn.
Match 1 against Jeskai control was a close back and forth series. Game 1 I was very lucky that he didn't draw a single Lightning Helix the entire match. Game 2 I opened with a Delver that refused to flip, and it bought him enough time to Helix his way back into the game. Game 3 was a close affair where I had a lot of threats, but my Pyros and Swiftspears were looking pretty anemic without a lot of spells to back them up. I managed to sneak in for exactsies with my singleton post board vapor snag on round 1 of extra turns by bouncing his snapcaster mage when he was tapped out.
Match two against ponza was a much more one sided affair. Game 1 I simple tempoed him out by deploying a couple of threats, bolting his Tracker and Snagging his stormbreath dragon, while holding remand up Inferno Titan. He did manage to blow up a couple lands, but all I needed were 2 lands for the deck to operate. Game 2 he got stuck on lands, and I just beat him down easily.
Match 3 was a one sided affair too, but on a different side. He basically beat me down and I had barely any way to stem the bleeding.
Overall this deck was really fun, and I might continue to tune this over the next couple of months. First changes will probably be to cut the 4th Chart a Course for a 18th land, and replacing the 4 opts with rift bolts. Opt was rather disappointing since it doesn't help to flip delver, and it made the deck a little too full of air. Chart a course was great throughout the night, but dropping 4 opts means 17 lands would probably be too little, and i think 3 charts is plenty enough.
20 lands:
4 flooded strand
4 island
4 scalding tarn
4 steam vents
2 cavern of souls (horror/human)
2 mountain
16 horrors/humans:
4 bedlam reveler
4 snapcaster mage
4 stormchaser mage (4 toughness under anger)
4 thing in the ice (TITI)
24 instants/sorceries:
4 anger of the gods
4 blood moon
4 lightning bolt
4 opt
4 serum visions
4 sleight of hand
SB
4 monastery swiftspear (when angers get sided out, ideal 1-drop/too many 2-drops)
4 relic of progenitus
4 spellskite
3 smash to smithereens
when my bedlam revelers arrive in the mail, i'll post my testing/tourney results!
Just from looking at the list, I'm curious, why not just play swiftspears in the main? Unless you're really worried about creature decks like humans and robots, seems a little silly to run 4 anger in the main.

test vs Hallowed One, 0-4
SB (we agreed not to)

r2 vs Mardu Pyromancer, 2-0
SB +1 blood moon, -1 snapcaster mage (wanted to cut a 3 drop, angers were good vs his pyromancers.)
notes: singleton blood moon in game 1 tilted him. he kept second-guessing his plays afterward.
game 2 deflecting palm on my transformed TITI dealt 7 to me but he was under 6 life w/bolt and snapcaster in hand...
r3 vs D&T, 2-0
SB +1 smash to smithereens (vs anther vial), -1 blood moon
notes: i grinded him out both games. just traded threats and removal 1-for-1 until he ran out of gas. he scooped both games.
r4 vs Mono-G Tron, 1-2
SB + 4 monastery swiftspear, +3 smash to smithereens, +1 blood moon. -4 anger of the gods, -4 TITI's
notes: f***ker didn't want to ID (we were the only 3-0's. can't hate him tho, i've turned down ID's myself when i was supremely confident.)
game 1, i got turn 3 blood moon but my clock was slow enough for him to reach 7 lands and Karn...
game 2, multiple swiftspears + prowess cantrips killed him on turn 4.
game 3, he had 2 different tron lands in hand and map'd out the last piece on his turn 2. i lost.
summary: w/all 3 wins being 2-0's and my 1 loss being 1-2 and in the finals (also games 1 and 3 were weird imo) i can say this deck did great today!
r1 vs Rakdos Wither, 2-0

notes: opponent was a casual player running a casual deck.
r2 vs Infect, 2-0
SB +1 blood moon, -1 bedlam reveler
game 1: bolted his glistener elf on my turn 2. turn 3 blood moon shut down his inkmoth nexus and non basics, leaving him w/1 forest.
game 2: angered his noble hierarch and glistener elf. bolted his inkmoth nexus. he played no more threats.
r3 vs Boros Elementals Burn, 0-2
SB +2 vapor snag, -1 blood moon, -1 bedlam reveler
notes: by now, my test partner knew to avoid my angers and i run no counters. oh well.

the main difference between Izzet Prowess vs Izzet TITI's is i now run no 3-drops and pyroclasm over anger of the gods, as my sweeper. pyroclasm allows space for monastery swiftspear to be maindecked now.
Hello fellow Delver friends! So I played a UR Delver list last Saturday to a successful undefeated record of 6-0! I've been lurking this forum for a little bit, but never found a list that suited my play style until now. Here's the list.
This list utilizes Disrupting Shoal to tap out for its threats and still be able to defend them against kill spells or possible combo kills. The decks I played against would be(in order) Abzan Company, Affinity, Grixis Shadow, 4 Color Midrange, Grixis Shadow, and Living End. The deck I struggled against the most was 4 Color Midrange, but timely Blood Moons managed to steal several games. It was four rounds and a cut to top 4 so I'm happy that it preformed as well as it did. Let me know what you all think!

I've been playing around with it in the Friendly Leagues and local FNM's, and putting up similar X-1 and X-0 results. Now that I am familiar with it I will probably be taking it to the Competitive Leagues and larger local events. Thoughts?
Here is a jank/budget delver deck. It started out as a thing in the bed deck til I realized horror tribal doesn't work. I have no money for fetches shoals or snapcasters unfortunately. Anyway not really overperforming but it holds its own at my lgs. Any suggestions on upgrades? Im really new to modern so I don't know many cards. Tyty
Edit: I think my deck runs too many cantrips. Drawing doesn't seem to get any gas, just more draw. Any suggestions on my can trip / spell count?

"Izzet TITI's," 3-1
19 lands:
5 island
4 flooded strand
4 scalding tarn
4 steam vents
2 mountain
16 creatures:
4 bedlam reveler
4 snapcaster mage
4 stormchaser mage
4 thing in the ice
25 spells:
4 anger of the gods
4 lightning bolt
4 opt
4 serum visions
4 sleight of hand
4 thought scour
1 blood moon
SB
4 monastery swiftspear
4 vapor snag
3 smash to smithereens
3 surgical extraction
1 blood moon
test vs Hallowed One, 0-4
SB (we agreed not to)
notes: test match was crucial. helped fix my mana and kept me humble.
after 2 losses, i added 2 island and subtracted 2 blood moon.
after 2 more losses, i settled on my final configuration.
r1 vs Amulet, 2-0
SB +3 smash to smithereens, +1 blood moon. -4 anger of the gods.
notes: opponent was n00b and made basic errors. this match isn't optimal data.
r2 vs Mardu Pyromancer, 2-0

6/8/18 FNM - decklist
"Izzet TITI's," 2-1
test vs Boros Elementals Burn, 1-1
SB none
notes: i crushed this guy 5/6/18 w/my Reality Acid list-
https://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/modern/deck-creation-modern/791877-reality-acid-deck
r1 vs Rakdos Wither, 2-0
SB +1 vapor snag, -1 blood moon
notes: opponent was a casual player running a casual deck.
r2 vs Infect, 2-0
SB +1 blood moon, -1 bedlam reveler
game 1: bolted his glistener elf on my turn 2. turn 3 blood moon shut down his inkmoth nexus and non basics, leaving him w/1 forest.
game 2: angered his noble hierarch and glistener elf. bolted his inkmoth nexus. he played no more threats.
r3 vs Boros Elementals Burn, 0-2
SB +2 vapor snag, -1 blood moon, -1 bedlam reveler
notes: by now, my test partner knew to avoid my angers and i run no counters. oh well.
summary: today wasn't as impressive as 6/8 FNM. anyone have suggestions vs Boros Elemental Burn?

“Izzet Prowess”
18 lands:
5 island
4 scalding tarn
4 spirebluff canal
4 steam vents
1 mountain
16 creatures:
4 bedlam reveler
4 monastery swiftspear
4 snapcaster mage
4 stormchaser mage
26 instants/sorceries:
4 lightning bolt
4 opt
4 pyroclasm
4 serum visions
4 sleight of hand
4 thought scour
2 vapor snag
SB
4 smash to smithereens
4 spellskite
4 surgical extraction
2 vapor snag
1 cavern of souls
the main difference between Izzet Prowess vs Izzet TITI's is i now run no 3-drops and pyroclasm over anger of the gods, as my sweeper. pyroclasm allows space for monastery swiftspear to be maindecked now.

2 Dispel
1 Ceremonious Rejection
3 Abrade
1 Roast
3 Thing in the Ice
3 Blood Moon
1 Kozilek's Return
1 Izzet Staticaster
This list utilizes Disrupting Shoal to tap out for its threats and still be able to defend them against kill spells or possible combo kills. The decks I played against would be(in order) Abzan Company, Affinity, Grixis Shadow, 4 Color Midrange, Grixis Shadow, and Living End. The deck I struggled against the most was 4 Color Midrange, but timely Blood Moons managed to steal several games. It was four rounds and a cut to top 4 so I'm happy that it preformed as well as it did. Let me know what you all think!
decklist looks good, how was deprive?

Here is a jank/budget delver deck. It started out as a thing in the bed deck til I realized horror tribal doesn't work. I have no money for fetches shoals or snapcasters unfortunately. Anyway not really overperforming but it holds its own at my lgs. Any suggestions on upgrades? Im really new to modern so I don't know many cards. Tyty
Edit: I think my deck runs too many cantrips. Drawing doesn't seem to get any gas, just more draw. Any suggestions on my can trip / spell count?
