Why don't you guys just play Smother? In my opinion, it's the best mono-black removal out there in Modern, and don't say Dismember is better. First off, Dismember costs either life or three (!) mana, plus it doesn't get rid of Tarmogoyf as easily as you might expect. Especially in Faeries, where our life total is a real issue, also considering how we struggle against aggro, Dismember seems not like the right choice to me.
Smothers best target is goyf or maybe ooze. But what about bigger stuff than that? Smother doesn't kill a whole lot of problematic stuff. I mean, if you're considering smother for goyf why not threads of disloyalty instead?

This deck was some guys home brew. For a random jank deck, it looked pretty entertaining and fun to play.
Game 1: Mistbind Clique + Cryptic locked down his horde of goblins while i repeatedly smacked him with Mutavault and Tar Pits.
Game 2: I had him down to 3 and one turn away from death when he finally top decks another burn spell and kills me
Game 3: He gets stuck on two land, and I just abuse the hell out of it. SSS, Snap + Mana Leak, Mistbind, yeah I kind of felt bad for him.
In: Doom Blade Out: Dismember
None of his creatures were big enough that having Dismember in the deck was going to be worth it.
One thing I did manage to see while playing this round was the power of Aether Vial in this deck. In game 3 my sequence of turns literally went like this:
Turn 1: Darkslick, Vial
Turn 2: Vial on 1, Island, Mana Leak his dude
Turn 3: Vial on 2, Scryland, Spellstutter
Turn 4: Island, Spellstutter, vial in Snapcaster, Mana Leak
Later on I also Vialed in a Spellstutter when I tapped out for Mistbind to counter his burn for the only Faerie I had in play. All in all, I was VERY impressed with how Vial worked.
Round 2 - UR Storm: Lost 2 - 0
Game 1: Another tournament, another Storm player. I don't know what it is with this deck, but I got stuck on 3 land and he was able to combo kill me completely unopposed
Game 2: Second verse, same as the first. Get stuck on land (I kept a hand with 3 land in it) and he combos out without opposition. I swear this only happens to me against storm.
Out: Agony Warp, Dismember, Aether Vial x2, Smother, Sword of Light and Shadow, Pack Rat x3 In: Echoing Truth, Spell Snare x2, Negate x2, Thoughtseize, Cryptic Command, Grafdigger's Cage x2
I saw from the round before that he had Empty the Warrens in his deck so I made sure I at least had one way to deal with it. I also wasn't making the same mistake from Monday and NOT sideboarding in the Grafdigger's Cage. To be fair he did play around it so it didn't really stop me from losing, but he did have to play around it, and if I had an optimal draw I might have won a game or two. I took out the Pack Rats since against storm I want to be using every card I have to stop him from doing anything. I can't afford to be discarding a bunch of stuff to Pack Rat when he can just kill me out of nowhere.
Round 3 - BW Tokens: Lost 2 - 0
Game 1: Kind of a close game. I don't really have much in my deck to deal with tokens for the mainboard. However I got to get myself a lot of really good trades by using Pendelhaven with my SSS's. Definitely glad to have that card in the deck.
Game 2: Land a turn 2 Pack rat and start putting the pedal to the rettle (rattle? rat-elle? whatever...) churning out rat tokens at the end of his turns. Again I was able to make amazing use of Pendelhaven with my Pack Rats every time he'd get me down to 1 of them. Unfortunately he kept a hand with 2 Spectral Procession, 2 Lingering Souls, and an Intangible virtue so I was quickly overwhelmed in the air. I did draw one of my Echoing Truths, but I used it much to early trying to force in some damage with the Rats. It was a very close game though.
Out: Dismember, Smother, Agony Warp In: Echoing Truth x2, Thoughtseize
My plan here was to give me the extra Thoughtseize to get rid of some of the cards in his deck I couldn't easily deal with (Sorin, Elspeth mainly) and have the Echoing Truths as ways to just wipe up all his tokens. Unfortunately I didn't have any information on what he had in hand until after I had used my Echoing Truth, so that really sucked. I also made a misplay I am really embarassed to admit. I had Spellstutter, Mistbind, and Mana Leak in hand. My opponent casts an Inquisition of Kozilek on me, with 4 mana still up. Instead of casting the Spellstutter, to both counter the discard, and give me a Faerie to champion, I just let it resolve and he took my Sprite. God I'm an idiot.
Round 4 - GW Boggles: Lost 2 - 0
Game 1: I will tell you this much, in this match up, landing a Bitterblossom will land you near infinite turns if you can manage to counter all their trample/protection from creatures enchantments. Unfortunately if they land a Daybreak Coronet, that usually gives them way too much life for you to even consider racing. Needless to say the lifegain was too much and then he managed to finally land a way to get through my endless blockers and kill me
Game 2: I keep my opening 7 since it has a Thoughtseize and Inquisition in it. My train of thought is to have him discard his way to break through my creatures, and then just block for days with Blossom. Then he shows me Leyline of Sanctity in his opening hand. Queue the world's tiniest violin. I slowly go though the first few turns, when what should I draw? PACK RAT TO THE RESCUE!!!!! I managed to slowly stall the game out countering the enchantments I needed to, all while slowly building up an army of Pack Rats. I would have had enough to kill him in 2-3 swings but he managed to stick a protection from creature enchantment and kill me
Out: Dismember, Agony Warp, Smother In: Negate x2, Echoing Truth
So this match up is really difficult without Engineered Explosives. You literally need to build up an army and attack them while keeping them tapped down with Cryptic Command, or else I don't see any way you can win this match up. And if they've started gaining life off Daybreak Coronet, good luck getting their life down to 0 unless you have 8/8 Pack Rats
So again, I made a few gameplay mistakes, which cost me some wins. I don't mind though. I'd rather make these mistakes outside of the PTQ and learn not to do them while playing there. After tonight I've made the following changes to the deck:
Even if it's a Tier 2-ish deck, I don't want to have a match up I just immediately conceed to since I have no out what so ever. Truth was mainly in there for the token match ups anyway, and Explosives does a better job than Truth will, even if it does also kill all my free Faerie Rogues.

I played against a buddy's affinity deck for about 4 hours yesterday. Results were downrigt dismal, although it's probably worth saying that I didn't use my board as he hasn't got his yet. Overall, my feeling was that our decks plays a solid control play, but lacks pressure to close games fast enough. Also, 3 Mistbinds seemed like too few, whereas my 3 Vendilion often stuck around in my hand. I will hence cut one Vendilion for a fourth Misty.
I'm also thinking about Scion again. Either him or some kind of Sword seems like a necessary evil.
Considering Affinity is the best game 1 deck in the format and you get significant sideboard pieces, seems like a *****ty way to get forced to test.
@Skitzafreak :
Storm : I find it usually takes a good hand from storm to mount against discard. How many thoughtseize/IoK do you run?
Boggles : Engineered Explosives does do wonders here (and against affinity too), another key card in this matchup is sword of feast and famine for the protection from green (fire and ice works against boggle himself too). Just keep them off protection/trample and you can block for days.
Last time I played faeries against boggles I mulled to 5 game 2 and kept a hand of 3 land, 1 IoK and 1 SSS. He drops a leyline from opener... ok well 1 dead card isnt bad. 5 draws later my hand is 2 IoK and 2 Thoughtseize... fml lol

I play 3 IoK and 2 Thoughtseize main, with an additional Thoughtseize in the board.
As for SoFaF, I prefer to run Sword of Light and Shadow in my build. With me running Pack Rats, LaS allows me to before damage, pitch a dude and then basically return them to my hand, essentially giving me a free Pack Rat. In addition to this, the recursion from LaS I have found is very good against Affinity. Since you're trying to just throw out guys as chump blockers until you can stabilize, having the sword when you stabilize has allowed me to get back all the creatures I simply sent to their doom.
And yeah....Leyline is a pain sometimes when you don't expect it. If I had known he had Leyline in his deck, I legitimately wouldn't have boarded in the 3rd Thoughtseize lol

Seems like that should be plenty of discard. I've noticed that a couple of counter and discards go a long ways against storm as long as there is any sort of decent backup. Also that Mistbind is crazy good against them.
I dont fault LaS at all I think its good in a deck with so many ETB creatures. FaF is great against a ton of decks though, considered running one next to your LaS?
Soooo I've seen that UB Fae is running Pack Rat now. Can't say I blame you, it's an amazing card for this strat. It gives you a late game plan that can overwhelm any opponent, and an early game threat as well. You can use thoughtseize to see if the opponent is weak to a Turn 2 rat, then abuse the hell out of it. It also gets pumped up by Mutavault (which you are running anyways). The addition of Pack Rat is the kind of advancement that will move the deck forward in a way that everyone can get behind.
