I dont use renegade as a Dismember replacement (I use Pongify for that :p). I use renegade as extra removal, and as a removal target. Sometimes it eats Push turn 1 and I land goyf next turn. It did its job. Ive had opponents push narnam while I have a flipped delver on the field. Players just hate it when their strategy relies on creatures.
Im completely turned off of Dismember. It never was a good tool in this deck, imo. 4 life is super relevant, and forces us to be extra vigilant in how we fetch. I dont like that. We are already land light, Dismember forces us to fetch even more carefully.
Back to Narnam: I have played it against Eldrazi, and I dont mind trading it for 2 life vs a RS.
Is anyone streaming or uploading videos to youtube maybe?
It would be interesting to see some actual gameplay. The few RUG-deck youtubers I can find are either outdated/pre-probe-ban or are just matched against homebrew decks that doesnt really show how the deck performs.
I might upload my next 5-man league and then I will post a link:)
Blaze streams matches on Twitch. I post matches on YouTube. I'm pretty sure you can find links to each channel in our respective signatures.
I really like that Curator cycles away in linear matchups where you only need to stick one or two threats, but doubles down as a flying grave-hate, bolt, decay proof ferocious enabler against matchups that demand a higher threat density. It's slow but one mana to cycle is quite good. As long as the I/S count is high enough one or two could be great. Although most arnt running it, having one in your deck for Traverse could be some sweet utility.
I actually just played (and won) against a Esper Living End deck with As Foretold, and curator was nice to cycle away, considering it comes back if Living End sticks

the card itself really isn't worth the card board its printed on...does it serve a purpose? Sure its a blue 1 drop that might not be a 1/1. I would not put it in a list and expect to win a PTQ or GP though.

Fetches help for reaching critical mass for a turn 2-3 mandrills and as you said for moon post side. Also they're way better fixing mana and as a fourth source of mana (for huntmaster). I think somebody is still playing one spirebluff canal, but four are too many imho.

I used to have a split betwwen Sanctum and Canal. I have since dropped Sanctum. It looks good, but in reality, we want our red/blue far more than we want our green/blue. This becomes far more evident when we side in blood moon. I prefer a fetch in the slot of sanctum to go get my forest. In any other matchup where moon is not relevant, I wouldnt mind it. But we bring in moon for a lot of our games, and sanctum is just too clunky.
I don't think the deck can support more than one...maybe two. Making blood moon worse is pretty much the last thing you want to do here and breeding pool/sanctum are pretty much the worst lands to draw with it. With canal at least with only three lands you can cast moon with both a basic forest and island in play. Not to mention there are very few reasons to need G on turn one.
I think I'm finally going to pick up this deck on paper. I've toyed with the commonly played proven core and I'm trying to decide what to do with the rest of the skeleton and the flex spots.
I used to play Ashton's Day's Undoing list before the probe ban and, at the time, Shoal was an all-star for me. With Curator entering the format, I'm feeling pretty inspired to try running a playset of Shoals with 1 or 2 Curator in the list to finally be able to counter 4 mana spells while tapped out! I'd appreciate help with a list running Shoal designed for the current meta. Has anyone been playtesting with that type of setup? is there any consensus on whether Shoal should be played? If possible, I'm hoping to make sure I can run 3 blood moon in the sideboard without issue in the main.
I'd also appreciate seeing some updated decklists now that the first half of Amonkhet has been spoiled and the modern announcement has occurred.

I posted one a couple pages ago. Hasn't changed since spoilers.

Hi guys, I've been looking for a solid Temur list to play, and I think Delver is where I want to be. I've been playing a Blue Moon list with a green splash, but I think being on the Delver plan game 1 is just a better strategy.
Give it a shot on Xmage or wtv. I actually am liking curator a lot, now. Late game I have no issues casting him as a 4/4 flyer. Early game he cycles at instant speed, filling my gy for goyf or mandrills, and drawing me a card.
Narnam is still doing work. Opponents just dont want that card on the field. I usually lead with it, it eats removal, and I follow up with better creatures.
Yesterday, I opened with a narnam, it ate a bolt, and I followed up with two delvers who then flipped on turn 3. Was a good feeling to swing several times for 6 in the air. Makes a huge difference if that bolt hit my first delver.
Renegade seems quite good, I'm just not sure if it's worth losing the reach that Snapcaster offers. Curator is interesting as well. I'll definitely give your list a try, thanks!
I'm trying out your list on MTGO, still getting the hang of it compared to a more traditional one with snaps and such. I'm gonna bring it through a league next week though.
