So here's the deck I've been playing since I got back into modern. It's a midrange red deck with our favourite eldritch horrors. The reason I go red instead of just full colourless stompy is that I find red gives the deck:
The sideboard is a bit of a hoo haa right now but the cards in it generally fall under 2 categories. Hate against Tron/Scapeshift, and more removal for creature heavy decks like Spirits and Humans.
A card that deserves special attention here is Ratchet Bomb. It's fantastic at getting rid of Thing in the Ice, Druid Combo, Ensnaring Bridge, just lots of great problematic permanents you want dealt with. Never leave home without it!
I play red eldrazi myself, and I feel like the best are ones that keep the same shell as serum powder eldrazi stompy with red for obligators/hazorets/chandras in the main and other red cards in the side.
Eternal Scourge is really good in the deck especially with the maindeck relics to keep getting it back from the GY into exile.
It also pairs nicely with Anger of the Gods and Chandra's +1.
Being a midrange deck this deck is much better off playing Chandra over Light up the Stage which is purely a Burn/Aggro card.
Slagstorm also seems questionable as Anger can hose GY decks like Dredge/HogaakVine and Sweltering Suns cycles which makes them both the better options herr imho.
The deck is very flexible so Anger and Pillage (used to be Molten Rain) switch places depending if the meta is more aggro/dredge heavy or more tron/control heavy. Alpine Moon is a flex slot in the SB for Tron and Valakut which could also be Dragon's Claw for Burn (tough matchup), Shattering Spree/By Force for Affinity/Lantern or more card advantage in the form of Karn, Scion of Urza.
Blast Zone is probably a great land for the deck giving it more options (besides Bomb) to deal with enchantments/artifacts and hordes of small creatures.
Not sure if it is worth it over Field of Ruin though.
Scavenger Grounds can also be very good in the deck but probably unnecessary with 4x maindeck Relics.
Oh that's a nice list! I like Slagstorm for it's reach but I can for sure see the benefits of Anger and Sweltering Suns over it. Just a personal choice I guess. I go a bit less stompy in my build in favour of having ways to remove troubling permanents with Ratchet Bomb.
How do you find Eternal Scourge? I like the option of Eldrazi Obligator over it because he can take for example, a Thing in the Ice // Awoken Horror, and just win the game for you, whereas eternal scourge... blocks? I think Eternal Scourge is much better in the Serum Powder version of the deck. (Which is way beyond my budget :p)
Now as for Hazoret, I think I'll try her in place of one of the Pia and Kiran in my list. 3 is just too many and Hazoret can also reach in much the same way Pia and Kiran do.
I highly recommend Crumble to Dust over Pillage. It's an absolute house against Tron and Scapeshift.
Really like your list!

Eternal Scourge is just a very reliable and resilient creature, it is often not spectacular but it is solid.
As I've mentioned it works extremely well with: Relic/Grounds, Anger and Chandra/Karn.
Obligator is a very hit & miss card (very easily killed) depending on the matchup so I bring it from the SB when I need faster pressure against non-interactive combo decks or decks like "Death's Shadow" and other decks which play one giant threat (Wurmcoil Engine/Hogaak/Primeval Titan) that you can steal for a turn and swing the game.
I find Crumble to Dust too slow most of the time as it is only really useful if you're on the play and can play it on turn 3 after a turn 2 Mind Stone which is a rather narrow window of circumstances. Pillage is much more flexible and can be brough in fair matchups against control decks as well.
Crumble isn't even that good against "Scapeshift" as they often don't even play Valakut before going off. Alpine Moon is just much better being a 1-mana play that slows them down (they'll Reclamation Sage it eventually) just enough to tempo them out.
A card which is worth considering for the maindeck if the meta slows down is Karn, Scion of Urza which is a much needed card advantage engine for the deck (besides Chandra which is more situational).
It also has some artifacts to support its tokens here with Relic and Mind Stone (and Ratchet Bomb).
22x lands is mostly fine with the 4x Mind Stones as extra mana sources, though MTGO where I play is wierd and sometimes gives me a lot of 1-land opening hands (something which rarely happens even with my 20-land decks for some reason).
Anger is indeed a non-bo with Reshaper but if you know that you can try to play around it by trying to trade it off (or even chump-attack).
I also play only 3x Reshaper for this reason and prefer Scourge as my 4x-of as the deck is built to support it better.
Wurmcoil is difficult, post-board Obligator is a good option or just attacking the manabase to prevent it being cast in the first place.
Preboard I hope to exile it with TKS or Bolt/Dismember/Abrade + Anger it away.
The best way is just being as aggro as possible and trying to create a stalemate where it can't really attack and is forced to remain on blocking duty (since they'll die on the crack-back) while looking for Bolt/Ruins/Chandra/Hazoret to burn out the opponent which is often what I end up trying to do.
There are some slight tweaks that I want to make to the deck to see if they'll improve it:
# Hazoret wasn't very good for me lately so I will replace it with P&K, and add Karn to the SB over P&K as a card advantage engine.
# In the utility lands slot I'd try: 4x Blast Zone + 1x Scavenger Grounds over the 4x Field of Ruin and 1x Sea Gate Wreckage.
# I probably want the 4th Pillage in the SB but not sure what to cut for it, maybe a copy of Alpine Moon.
Hazoret has been INCREDIBLE for me. I still wouldnt drop Pia and Kiran though. They're great as an "army-in-a-can". Also, I can't praise ratchet bomb enough. Without an Eldrazi Temple, the 2 drops slot is a little lacking so ratchet bomb fits perfectly. Damn I love it.
