Hi you curious player, and welcome to the Hexproof creatures that will try to run over opponents with just one hugh.
I just updated this thread with some of the new cards (Guilds of Ravnica spoilers) that I thought it can go very well with the deck idea.
Purpose of the deck
With this deck we basically want to attack with actual threats that can avoid any blocking creature that our opponent can have, along with Worship, a nice way to prevent losing while we have creature with Hexproof.
Advantages of colors
Blue
Thanks to blue cards, we can dig deeper through our deck. Also, it's a nice color along green that can give Hexproof to our creatures.
Also it provides control of the game, thanks to counters and tempo cards.
Green
Amazing creatures with Hexproof and ramp.
As our goal is to kill our opponents with brute force, this is a great color that provides our two goals at the same time.
White
Protection and versatility.
Literally, white is one of the best colors on magic as can provide anything.
Black
Control and removal.
With this kind of deck, we should try whenever we can to control our opponent so it cannot get rid of our threats, or simple to get rid of pieces they need.
Nullhide Ferox: A potential third turn 6/6 creature is a must. Also, if the turn before we are able to play Sorcerous Spyglass we can have a huge creature in play that really will be untouchable. But we have to be careful!
Worship: Another core card. Unless we don't recive non-damage, we won't be able to lose thanks to the Hexproof creatures.
Hadana's Climb: This can allow a faster ending game. Once it's flipped, even the weakest creature, like Invisible Stalker, can swing for a minimum of 8 damage. Also, remember of flying! It can also be used to block flying creatures.
Sword of Fire and Ice: Cantrips and damage all in one. Perfect for this kind of decks.
Ring of Evos Isle: Budget equipment that every turn will increment the power of our blue creatures.
Nissa, Steward of Elements: We want to find as soon as possible Worship. The first loyal ability allows to scry 2 and send down those cards we don't need right now.
Tamiyo, Field Researcher: Along with Nissa, and Invisible Stalker, we can draw almost whatever is the best for us. Also it can protect us from some threats tapping those creatures.
Serum Visions: Cantrip, for either early or late game.
Steelshaper's Gift: A nice tutor for our swords. Even Nissa can do a bit of it's job with the Scry.
Take out a gift for another worship. Thought process there is that worship keeps you alive so the swords have time to work. Pretty much any sword on a stalker with worship out is good enough to win the game. But you have to land worship to make that happen. I dobt see the swords really racing DS or eldrazi with a very high success rate
Thanks Hezekai for the point! If I would change any creature from the deck would be Mirran Crusader, as it dies to red and white spells (or bounced with blue).
I wonder if mind and body is really where you wabt to be though. Wouldnt life and death do more? Like get you either time by gaining life or getting a dude back incase they wrathed. I cant see the mill doing a whole lot and the 2/2 is just turning on their removal.
Yep. Those are called bad matchups.
The thing is how much of a percentage of the meta are those decks? As long as you are even to favorited against tron, ds, burn, and affinity then it's the deck to play..... Tbat said Im not sure you are any good agaibst tron. The others I can see. But trons sweepers look like too much to handle for a slow deck.
Hi m8.Ive been thinking about the same thing. but Im playng witout any removal coz of worship and trying to protect our combo with a massiv numbers of counter spells also after some time is gone i change swords to an auras. Also trying beeing semi-budjet. Here is my two lists with swords and no swords version.
Swords vers.
20 lands is not enough but i du not know what need to pull out.
Thanks for it, I will add it into the cards section.
But I think we need more powerful creature if we are not playing along 3 or 4 Worship, with 2 we need more powerful creatures, with hexproof or color protections, at least is what I think.
With it, we can protect any of our creatures thanks to the Hexproof by paying just 2. And even better, if it's blue, will gain a +1/+1 counter every turn. We can Spell Queller any threat and then protect it so it won't lose the exiled card, or to our Mirran Crusader when facing red/white decks.
I have added it to Equip artifacts section.

Cards chosen and other viable possibilities
Let's look at some core cards that me and community have chosen for the deck:
Do you like the deck? Have any better ideas that can fit even better? Leave your comments below, I would appreciate it!
Also, I added Tamiyo, Field Researcher as another cantrip/defense. Along with Nissa, Steward of Elements and Invisible Stalker will allow us almost every turn to draw an extra card that we scryed before.
Here is someone of this website who played my list: https://m.twitch.tv/videos/223778314

I like the creatures and equipment angle of the deck but find the PW's and enchantments questionable.
Wouldn't adding some auras (like: Hyena Umbra, Ethereal Armor, Gryff's Boon/Spectral Flight) speed up the deck ?
You could also replace Steelshaper's Gift with Open the Armory to get the auras, it makes setting Geist + Steel for example pretty easy.
For card draw you can add Curiosity/Keen Sense/Curious Obsession or even Sram, Senior Edificer over the PW's.
Chart a Course is also a good option (and there is Ordeal of Thassa as well).
Hadana's Climb seems really slow as you have no other ways of putting counters on creatures.
Worship can be decent but not often game winninng as Cryptic Command, Maelstrom Pulse and Collective Brutality see quite a bit of maindeck play.

Without swords
Any contribution you would like to add will be welcome.
