Yes I did. And I have two maxed out Soulflayers and a third nearly maxed out Soulflayer in that pic. Believe it or not, my opponent actually won that game technincally, but he didn't realize he had exactly 7 dmg for lethal the turn before I killed him. It went so long because he go lucky and drew all his cryptics and a few Snapcasters and kept bouncing Snap and recasting Command to tap down my creatures. This went on for MANY turns.
Unfortunately I lost game 2, and so I conceded the match since he should have won game 1. Now that U/W runs Terminus, I'm not sure I'd recommend it in a U/W meta.

First time playing with the deck irl, so, a lot of fun and mistakes but just a quick notes:
-i used yousemax latest list but with cavern of souls on the sb, a godless shrine main and 2 unburial rites in the main to test (i have seen this list and decided to make a split http://www.hareruyamtg.com/en/k/kD49866S/)
-i think i mulliganed every game but one. This one game that i didnt mull i kept a rather greedy one land hand with two faithless looting, never finding the second one. This was against burn. (The hand had the turn two flyer maxed out)
-this decks mulligans well, as a 5 cards hand can be pretty brutal (turn two maxed out demon)
-lifelink was a savyor most of the games i played, specially agains burn (who would know) and elves
-i’m gonna try one stomping ground mb instead of godless shrine
-dind’t like the unburial rites plan. It seems cool and everything but every game they were the first picks to put on sb. Maybe i am not playing correctly with them or can’t see them on the big picture.
-deffinitely need to grab some collective brutality.
-i’m gonna play this deck on a pptq, thinking about some leyline of sanctity on sb to get some points agaisnt burn, storm and lilianas decks
Well, thats my two cents on the deck!
Ps: gonna test again next week with ghor clan on the board, right now speed is all a modern deck needs here where i’m playing.
Add Collective Brutality and/or more lifelinkers in the 75 instead of Leylines to help beat burn. I'm not sure Leyline is worth it.
I'd also recommend swapping Caryatid for Carnage Tyrant, as Trample is relevant a lot, and I'm almost never casting Caryatid anyways, but I will cast Tyrant lategame.
I'm considering if I should cut the Cathartic Reunions for Commune with the Gods, and add sideboard Seal of Primordiums. This gives the deck a consistent shot at beating RIPs and LotVs. I had this package in my original list.
I like having some nice creatures to tutor for with Traverse.

I liked your list, and i think that it is how i’m gonna try next time.
About caryatid: i really like this card for some reasons. It helps with our manabase (against ld and blood moon, since i’m using only 4 shocks and 3 basics) and the hexproof clause is the thing sometimes i search for during a game because of removals like path to exile and dismember.
About the leylines, i totally agree with you, but i can’t find brutality here! Gonna see if someone have a couple to borrow.
Chatartic reunion: i’m gonna try two like you (replacing the unburial rites). There were a lot of hands that i draw that i didn’t have ways to put the fatties on the grave.
I liked your “toolboxy” style in the sb. But at game 2 isn’t a little hard to get traberse with delirium against grave hate? I’ve been thinking about some nature’s claim for the “precaution slot that always come game 2” against various grave hate.
I’ve played dredge for quite sometime in the past, and game 2 i ALWAYS board in grave hate in some form, as how common grave hate is (relic of progenitus is just a matter of sequencing to beat, but leyline of the void is the worst. What helps about it is that sometimes people keep horrible hands just because of it. Scavenging ooze may be kinda slow, but it is legbreaking if it sticks long enough).
Remember, those creatures can also be fetched with Grisly Salvage, whereas if you have noncreature hate cards, you'll just be binning them when yo cats Salvage.

I have forgot about it, you are right! I liked this option, gonna male some changes on my sb (maybe even a rec sage)
One thing for sure is when i cast grisly, i almost always get to see one of my sb cards, but at that stage i’m trying to force a soulflayer on the battlefield.
This deck can autolose to Meddling Mage if you don't have an answer, so you need to have an answer to mage, and have it somewhat reliably. You also need to have somewhat reliable answer to both Leyline and RIP. Relic is annoying, but you just have to play around and through it.
I'd figure I'd cut Some Golgari Charms for Claim since Claim is more efficient and I added more tramplers to delve, to deal with Lingering Souls. This might be wrong, as the -1 -1 ability is very good. A lot of x/1's in the format, so if you side it in against the opponent and they don't have RIP or LotV you can still get good use out of it. It's very strong vs. Mardu and affinity if they don't have Ravager.
I like Caustic Caterpillar, because if it's in your opening hand, it deals with RIP or Leyline faster. It's also easier to cast alongside other spells. I'd definitely recommend the Caterpillar over Rec Sage in this deck.

i’ve been testing a little this deck on my lgs and really liked swapping the caryatids for striped riverwinder. The reasons that i like is that it is easyer to put on the graveyard and it exchanges itself for another card.
The bad part about it is that i need to put a third color on the deck and the caryatid can be easely casted and helps fixing your manabase, blocking, making some things castable (the delve fuel creatures) and it is a way around blood moon.
With the thir color i added 3 thought scour (i test 3, since 4 is too mich in my opinion, as there is the chance of doscarding your own soulflayer) and 2 stubborn denial (helped me sometimes to protect my souflyer and counter hate cards such as rest in peace).
For this “third color” package i removed one cavern of souls (as i think the 2 stubborn denial can help me a little against control decks) and one wooded foothills in the lands part.
I removed the bomat courier set from the md as sometimes it is just a 1/1 beater and it is the first thing to get killed. (But i really like his “combo” with traverse)
As for traverse, the deck miss the artifact type now, but has more instant on it, having creature - land - sorcery - instant - enchantment (chromanticore).
Also, i have removed the lightning axe mb.
Well, that is the changes that i’m testing this last week and forward, and want to know what do you guys think about it!
I only changed two card from my previous deck. It is -1Bomat Courier -1Zetalpa, Primal Dawn and +1Ghor-Clan Rampager +1Drogskol Reaver. I think having total of 4 combination of artifact and enchantment is enough to keep delirium consistent. I thought 3 lifelink creature was enough but having 4 just makes more sense and 5 indestructile was too much so I replaced Zetalpa with Drogskol.
I have a feeling this is as far as Jund Soulflayer (without splashing another color) can get with current card pool, but I would love to hear any objections!
I think inconsistency is a price to pay especially for Chancellor build. Since Chancellors gives boost to turn 1 action it increases speed but with a cost of risking dead draws later on in the game. On the brightside, Chancellor can help fight Baneslayer Angel if you are able to cast it!

I used to play Stomping Ground but I replaced it with 2nd Blood Crypt. It was sometimes nice having it in open hand but I didn't think there was much situation where I needed a Stomping Ground over Blood Crypt or other fetchlands. Do you guys think it worth playing Stomping Ground for the 19th land?

I think having access to BB on t2 is so crucial, I’m against. I prefer the blood crypt in that slot. The ideal first 2 turns (in the non-changle build) has you spending R on t1 for faithless looting and then spending BB on t2, mulching up Looting, the two things you pitched, and a fetchlnd to drop a superflayer. Imho any land that doesn’t produce black is a risk of gumming that up.
I had a number of instances where I cast Looting on turn 1 then had a basic Swamp as my second land, meaning I couldn’t cast Troll, Salvage, Abrupt Decay, etc.
Thanks for your feedback. About the basic lands I just replace the Mountain for a Forest cause Field of Ruin and Ghost Quarter are very usual to see in MTGO.
I’m not sure if I want to lose the chance to search exactly the land I need in every situation, so have a Mountain could be important for especially playing a lot of Samut and Hazoret.
This build is specially strong in games 2 and 3 when you need to answer fast Leyline of the Void or set your graveyard to cast Soulflayer before Rest in Peace.
Mine goal is to search creatures with the right keywords and the same time castable to have a backup plan against hate.
I have been messing around with this deck for a few months now and following this primer alot.
I have felt many times that a stomping ground can help smooth out those early turns if you don't have a blow out hand with Faithless, Soulflayer, Fetch and 2 good Discards.
I am testing a KCommand for returning a Soulflayer mostly. But I have been amazed at the depth this card has provided. If needed I can use it to still discard a specific card, artifact removal game 1 has been helpful, and dealing that last 2 points of damage has won me many games also.
I felt while playing with Grapple with the Past that it could make higher potential plays then KCommand but when it falls short it feels really bad.
I thought about K Command and never had enough courage to try. Pretty decent effects and versatile. In a open metagame(read MTGO) could be very useful.
Maybe with the addiction of Assassin’s Trophy I could cut Golgari Charm from my sideboard and try this one to take care of the Leyline. But I’m not sure to cut Decay and Pulse because they reach different angles. But I will try this configuration:
1 Pulse
2 Abrupt Decay
3-4 Assassin’s Trophy
Mine point is Modern requires sideboard cards who you could board in most games without lose much efficiency.
I don't own Verdant Catacombs but could you cut down 1 of those or a Wooded Foothill for a Stomping Ground? Or do you feel it may just be worth to forget about it? Maybe need to get a few more basics in for the Assassin's Trophy targetting us.
I see in your deck list above 1 Engineered Explosive, what match ups are you looking to board that in for?
I definitely agree with Assassin's Trophy, it is a total blowout card. Maybe 4 Assassin's Trophy, 1 Abrupt Decay.
Have you had any success with Leyline of Sanctity?
It not worth cutting fetchland for Stomping Ground in my opinion and having more then 3 basics will probably screw with our mana base..
3 is enough to play around Assassin's Trophy just like Path to Exile, we'll just not search for basics when we fetch.
Engineered Explosives are mainly for Human and Mardu Pyromancer but lately it been useful against Scaled Affinity for destroying the 1/1 thopter tokens.
I don't like Leylines, I think it too luck dependent and it gonna be even worse after Assassin's Trophy comes out.

Other who put me in doubt is Lothlet Troll. I usually board it out and these days I’m consider to change for another discard spell or even another creature with more keywords.
Maybe another Cathartic Reunion/Gather the Pack/Tormenting Voice and a Keyword creature(Flamewake Phoenix/Thrun, The Last Troll/Zetalpa, Primal Dawn/Ghor-Clan Rampager/Archwing Dragon). I assume with this changes deck will become weaker against grave hate but Troll don’t be helpful these days.

I’m consider in this Modern to be fast, but sometimes the deck is pretty inconsistent. Land counting never be a problem for me.
I think inconsistency is a price to pay especially for Chancellor build. Since Chancellors gives boost to turn 1 action it increases speed but with a cost of risking dead draws later on in the game. On the brightside, Chancellor can help fight Baneslayer Angel if you are able to cast it!

I think KCommand is a good card for current meta. It kills Meddling Mage, Relic of Progenitus, and Ensnaring Bridge which can all show up on game 1 before sideboarding.
Speaking of sideboarding this new card from Guilds of Ravnica is amazing. Assassin's Trophy. It can replace my 2 Abrupt Decays, Maelstrom Pulse and Golgari Charm from sideboard for 4 of this and it'll take care of everything problematic from Leyline of the Void, Worship, Ensnaring Bridge, Meddling Mage, Blood Moon, Baneslayer Angel, Tron lands and etc. Soulflayer is about to get a huge update
